Well, I’ve finally made a decision to never shop at Dunn Lumber again. Mike Dunn himself says he’s committed to contractors. However, he is setting some prices that are so gouging and offensive. I don’t mind driving 15-20 minutes over to Home Depot to save $10 or $14 on one 13 inch large tube caulking gun. I had another $85 worth of hardware that was only 30% more than Home Depot. But principles or principles and I’ve had an issue with the Lynnwood store multiple times. I spoke with Noah the young manager there and he said there’s no price matching. There’s nothing they could do. That is a bunch of hooey. There’s always this thing called customer service customer satisfaction something. That’s OK it’s been kind of a d*** with this store for a long time. I’ve grown up shopping there with my uncles in Ballard and then shoreline. I’ve had a lot of issues with customer service at the Lynnwood store and today’s the day where I’ll buy from Amazon Lowes or Home Depot never step foot in Dunn Lumber again, and let my friends and my fellow contractors know they don’t do much to take care of their contractors and they could care less And go ahead and gouge on a cheap tool where they’ve marked it up six times the value of their purchase. Anyways I ranted on there’s my soapbox. I’ll keep my money Mike done and I’m hearing this more often from other contractors but I guess you’re the boss and you’ve made these policies, so there you go .

My son made arrangements for cement to be delivered for a walk way he is building for us, called to confirmed 80 bags of cement would be delivered. Was told truck is out, can’t deliver. He will have to make at least 3 trips for the bags. Sorry you all only have one truck?

Figured I'd try it out. It's just overall worse than places like home depot.Felt rushed through by the sales rep. (Nice guy, but you could tell he was trying to get the sale over with and pushed me to move faster than I wanted to.)The wood I got was worse quality with bends for more than twice the price of Home Depot...They loaded my wood for me, but that's not worth the rushing, price and quality hit.Not a shopping experience I want to repeat.

Definitely not the cheapest place to shop for building supplies, but if you want quality and wood that is straight, I suggest you go here and skip the big box stores

Great place to buy all your fix it stuff. Nice people and great quality. More expensive than other places but service can't be beat. The guy at the front is very friendly and great. The wood is the best!

Over the years, we've utilized Dunn Lumber for many projects -- most recently to purchase composite decking. They always have a quality materials and their team couldn't be more friendly and resourceful. This time, I wanted to tackle a picture frame moulding project in our living room -- 100% on my own with no help from my husband (which he was probably grateful for).I first checked with the big box stores and didn't have any luck finding the moulding I was looking for. I decided to see what Dunn Lumber had and not only found exactly what I wanted, but at a great price. Add to that, I was able to pay a little extra for their help cutting several 8 and 12 ft pieces down to the sizes I needed. This saved me a TON of time. I also picked up all of the essentials (small hand saw, miter box, caulking, etc.) which only left me needing paint which I already had.I'm really pleased with how everything turned out and am so thankful to the Dunn team for making it as easy and convenient as possible.

It is barebones for most electrical & plumbing items; Don't look for anything fancy in those departments. They don't let you casually walk around the yard, which I think is critical. They have a good selection of Simpson Strong Tie and fasteners too. On the whole I get the impression that, on an average remodel, you'll be having to visit somewhere else to get stuff too.I dislike pulling a number before I can get an employee's attention, but their system beats the big box stores by a mile.I'm not sure what this place is trying to be, but it is clean and the employees seem experienced enough. There's never many people shopping there from what I've seen and the commercial sales must be what their after. I dunno, I have come up from Oakland where the lumberyards are older, busier, and have a great deal more character.

Dunn has knowledgeable employees and great customer service. They also carry products (like bevel siding and lattice) that you won't find at the big box stores. But their prices for common items are ridiculously high, in some cases they charge more than twice what the big box stores charge so buyer beware

Always the best quality and great help. It's good group of men and women to help me find the right lumber AND receive decent lumber. You might save a few bucks at the box store, but the quality and number of unusable boards ruins that perceived savings.Keep it up Dunn! ??
