I love costco but their tire center in lynnwood sucks! I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because they at least got their mistakes taken cared.

I went to balance my elder wheels with tires, of which tires have plenty of tire thread left, and Costco tire center refused to balance my wheels because they said my tires are 10 years old, and they do not want the liability, although I think it is more a liability if I drive with my unbalanced wheels, refusing to balance the wheels, just because my tires are not newer than 5 years. i was told was 5 year tire is their limit timeline to balance the wheel with tires on them. I can see the logic behind it, however not everyone has the money to just replace all tires.

Typical example of a team leading by insecure, egoistic team leader who is determined to provide 0 customer service, and is not ashame to make sure the customer know about it.

Speedy service in the end, but communication and logistical handling of what should be something simple is overall a mess.
I was told appointment scheduled for Thursday at 12:15 of this week and to call in advance to check inventory of tires to ensure they’re present. I called Thursday morning of, and was told by the rep who answered “they should be there”. I show up as scheduled and was told 1) there is no appointment scheduled 2) there are no tires available for my car. I was also quoted for the wrong price by the initial sales rep.
After talking things through, I pay for the tires this time in advance. The sales rep told me I will get a call from them the Friday when tires are available and we can schedule an appointment. Fast forward to Friday, I get a call early morning and was told to come in at 1:00. I confirmed twice.
I show up at 1, and was told by either sales rep or manager by the name of Jeff that my appointment is for 12:15. Caught off guard, I told him that’s not what I heard on the phone earlier and he told me he was the guy who called me earlier and said 12:15. There was no eye contact. I didn’t want to start a trivial argument over it to prove who is right/wrong when I’m really here at the end of the day to get my tires done. So I asked him if he could still get my tires exchanged. He said yes.
The appointment lasted shorter than 1 hour. I heard back in 30-45 minutes. In terms of communicating exact scheduling to customer, it could be a lot better at this location but at least I got my tires exchanged.

I had a great experience at the Costco Tire Center in Lynnwood. I had a little tire issue and Eric quickly helped me fix it. Definitely recommend them for your tire needs!!

I bought my tires here and this is the first time I've come in to have the nitrogen checked. It's pouring rain and the guy working pointed at a parking spot and said it's all self service now. I didn't pay hundreds of dollars to check and fill my tires in the pouring rain. I can't believe they didn't offer to get me in a stall, even if there's a wait. Unacceptable.

Ordered online, tires came in within the time frame stated. Scheduled online, no issues with appointment time. What was nice is they don't preload the tpms cost like their competitors, the road hazard warranty is free and the installation cost is free.Remember this, for you to be able to take advantage of a warranty, you need to have that business, like lets say Discount Tire, in the area. Otherwise no matter what, youre gonna be paying Earls Garage or whatever game is in town, to fix your tire issue, and Murphys Law is a real thing when you're on the side of the freeway, lets say somewhere between nowhere and where da fuk am I. You'll have wished you had that extra Benjamin or two when Acme Garage Services hands you the bill. One other thing is, there was this one dude...hey bro, if you were smiling or talking nice with one customer, you should probably keep up that demeanor with everyone after, not act like I'm the guy dating your hot ex-girlfriend that just dumped you and then ate the steak dinner she intended for you to have...and now you're forced to interact with me because I'm buying tires. If you're gonna be a Richard, go with that with everyone, but my recommendation for customer service folks, don't be a Richard.

I recently visited Costco for tire services and encountered some issues that diminished my overall experience. After the service was completed, there was a significant delay in communication from the staff; I only discovered my car was ready when I inquired directly, 30 minutes after completion. More concerning, however, was the condition of the tires post-service. The tire pressure monitoring system indicated low air pressure, a check that revealed all tires were underinflated. Alarmingly, one tire registered at only 19 psi, significantly lower than the recommended 42 psi, with the others approximately 4 psi below the recommended levels. This oversight, particularly the severe underinflation of one tire, raises safety concerns and undermines the quality of service. In hindsight, the cost savings of $150-200, when compared to services at Discount Tires, does not seem to justify the compromises in service quality and attention to detail.

Less than impressive service in every way. First and last time I'll get tires here. Wait to check in 15 minutes past check in time, they called to say car was ready for pick up, waited in line 10 minutes, it wasn't ready. Waited another 10 minutes. I guess I just expected better from Costco. Back to Discount Tire in the future where service is excellent.

The service and price is good. The customer service from the sales person by the counter sucks. You think they would put someone behind the counter that was at least cordial. The person wasn't rude, but he never acknowledged I was there, never looked at me me when I was asking him questions, or really willing to discuss anything other than the drop off of my vehicle. There was someone behind me, so it's not like I was holding up the line.

Bought a set of 4 tires in 2021 from Costco tires, not even 2 years the Bridgestone tires balded in 28k miles.. should be covered under warranty since the tread wore out way before 40k miles, but the Costco rep kept telling me the warranty is voided since they’re so bald.. yeah so I should be covered under the Bridgestone’s tread-life limited warranty ensuring the tire doesn’t degrade faster than promised. Well it did - by 12,000 miles!!!Total scam, Costco wanted 900 for a new set of 4 tires even though I should have warranty coverages. Total discount had a set of tires included install for under $500. Never buying tires from Costco again, no way tires should bald in 2 years, the warranty had 12,000 miles left and they were bald. Selling low quality tires and trying to stiff you a hefty bill when they ware out.
