I like the folks that operate this shop. Overall nice and reliable. I come by twice a year. Experience has always been pleasant. Service is prompt and I get sense of trustworthiness from them. I have not once felt like they wanted to up sell. I feel like they are a great place to come get your car serviced.

I am a 25 year old female who had the absolute best experience with a mechanic at this shop. I was quoted between 1300-1500 dollars at other shops and I was worried about the validity of their claims. I took my car here and they were honest, trustworthy, considerate, and gave me so much peace of mind. Everything with my car was perfectly fine and they helped me understand when my car will need any repairs in the future. I recommend anyone and everyone should check this shop out, especially if you want an honest mechanic who has the knowledge and experience to do an amazing job! Thank you again!

They will do what you ask, shop hour price is a little high ($140.00). Want to charge you a full hour to diagnose something that might take ten minutes!! Most shops will figure it out and cut you a break. Last but not least is there B.S. 40% markup on parts that you can get at any autoparts store. That's why they will not let bring your own new parts from the same place they buy them from. It's hard to find an autoshop these days that doesn't want to take advantage of there customers. I got an oil change here and had a great experience. The person I talked with was kind, they gave me an inspection checklist, and they were reasonably priced. I will definitely go to them again in the future.

Phenomenal service!!! They were incredibly knowledgeable, and I appreciated the thoroughness and explanations. Most importantly, they were honest and transparent. Honda indicated I needed several maintenance things that I did not actually require. Better to support small and local than the big corporations. I’m so grateful I found this place and will come here in the future. Thank you 10/10 ⭐️

Another car problem fixed in a day for an excellent price.
Dallas and crew essentially entirely rebuilt my front brakes in a day, they even took time on their lunch to paint the calipers and program my new key fobs!
I swear by this shop and wont let anyone else touch my car.

I’ve been taking my cars to this location since the mid nineties. It has changed hands a few times since then but the owners (current/past) have always been very thoughtful and excellent at explaining the work that they perform. Highly recommend this place.

2003 Jeep Liberty Water PumpI discovered a leak from the front of my engine on my 2003 Jeep Liberty with the 3.7l V6. It looked to be coming from the top of where the water pump mates with the engine block. I discovered this after replacing my radiator.I snapped a couple pics and popped over to Basic Auto to chat with Dallas. After looking at the pics, he agreed that it is the water pump leaking. I had also mentioned that I had attempted to remove the thermostat cover to replace the thermostat. The bottom bolt was binding so I asked if he could manage this as well.He was able to get me an appointment for the following week (much sooner than I was expecting). He also quoted me a very reasonable price for the work to be done.I dropped off the rig the night before the appointment. I received a message to call the next afternoon. I called and talked to Dallas. He had said that the bolt for the thermostat cover had broken and explained in detail the potential options and that there would be an extra charge for the additional labor. I agreed with his direction and understood the it would be ready the following day.The next day I received a message that the rig was ready. When I picked up the Jeep, Dallas explained to me what he had done with the bad bolt. I was great with the fix. When he presented me with the final bill, I was pleasantly surprised that it really wasn't much more than his original quote!I am very happy with the work as well as working with Dallas. Great shop, great guy and would take any of my vehicles there.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I always go here for oil changes and basic check ups! Mitchell has been the most knowledgeable, down to earth, and kind guy. I don’t know much about cars and he is always great at helping me understand my car more. Service is very quick too, with flexible scheduling and good prices! Super convenient location for me, and the coffee is great next door!
