The owner/artist Clorae was incredible! I scheduled this appointment for my me and my mom to get matching tattoos and we are not disappointed! This was my Moms first tattoo so I’m glad I chose this studio because it was so laid back, clean, well put together and professional. Clorae was so personable and made sure this experience was fun and worry free. We sent her the picture of the lotus we wanted and she ended up making it even better! My mom is already talking about what she wants for her next tattoo. Five stars all around! ?

I have 10 tattoos and this is by far my favorite. I found my new forever tattoo artist. We clicked immediately as well, absolutely loved my session!

I am usually so good at vetting out scam sites, but I ignored some bad reviews on this tattooist. I contacted Clorae to cordinate some small tattoos for two friends and myself. I gave descriptions of the size, design and location of small tattoo designs for the three of us. Clorae insisted I pay a deposit and I complied. She asked some questions regarding the designs and I copied a text from my friend regarding the initials of her kids that would be in an orange slice on her arm. Clora immediatly became very angry and said she didn't mean to be a bitch, but she went on a rant that was obviously copied and pasted into the text stream about how insulted she was. She told me she couldn't work with me due to how offended she was about the children's initials in an orange slice? I apologized and tried to appease her and reassure her that I was sorry for whatever I had said to disrespect her (children's initials?). She said she couldn't work with me which was a blessing because I would not want someone so unstable and maniacle holding a needle to my skin. When I asked her what her refund policy was since she was refusing to work with me; she pasted another long winded text about her refund policy. When i realized what trap i had just stepped into; I told Clorae what I have learned in life..."Karma is a bitch". This could be a mental health issue, but it really felt more like a way to get free money.

Finally, I got my tattoo at Aura, first of all thank you for being so nice to me during the appointment, I got a cute outline bow on my thigh, Clorae was so nice and talked to me during tattoo time, fun and keep asking if I comfortable or not, she went through about size, position, and the tattoo went smooth. 3 cute dogs were also spotlights, super cute and super energetic.

I highly recommend Aura Creative Studio - Clorae is a very talented tattoo artist, a great listener, and I enjoyed my appointment. I appreciated that she used lidocaine in her work and took care to make sure that I was as comfortable as possible. It was definitely a stress free experience and Clorae's personality definitely put me at ease. Highly recommend and if I were to get inked again, she would be my only choice :)

A true artist who honestly cares about her clients! I had 2 tattoos done nearly 25 years ago. I'd been wanting something more meaningful for a long time. I was 15 when the first shop I ever walked into took my LEARNERS permit... photocopied it and told me to sit right down. They clearly didn't look at my ID much less my birth date. The work was sub par and as you can imagine, the shop was NOT in business long. My second one was with a group of drunk Marines a few days before deploying. I can confirm, alcohol and tattoos don't mix! It was half finished before the artist quit and told me I had to come back another time. Yeah right! Like that ever happened.
Fast forward to 6 months ago. After being married for nearly 14 years... I've broken, lost or mangled more wedding rings than I'd like to admit. I HATE it! I wanted something that would be lasting and meaningful to my wife. I wanted her name tattooed on my ring finger. ALL OF IT! Not initials, not a symbol. I wanted her name. All 8 letters!
MULTIPLE shops shut me down before even hearing my story. That's not Clorae! She listened. She heard me. She talked to me. AND SHE NAILED WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR!!!! It's PERFECT!
A small tattoo. Meaningless to most. But the detail and perfection she managed when everyone else said it would "blow out" or look messy... Nope! Clorae has a gift with fine lines!!!! It's PERFECT! Just about 6 months in and it's healed and completely legible! Exactly what I wanted. I knew as it was healing I'd be back for more! And my next one was WAY BIGGER!!
I wanted to finally finish a tattoo that memorialized my time in the Marine Corps. I also wanted something to honor my two awesome kiddos. The yellow footprints Marines stand on in boot camp are iconic. Semper Fi (Always Faithful) seems equally as meaningful to my kids as it does to the Corps.
Clorae managed to take my kiddos ACTUAL feetprint from birth and create the most incredible life-size realistic prints from the hospital at a 45° angle and colored them in yellow. It's been one week... My second tattoo is healing incredibly as did the first.
The atmosphere in Clorae's shop is so welcoming. The shop puppies are incredibly friendly and loving. Her desire to give her clients their ideal tattoo is obvious! She takes the time to listen to you! She takes the time to create something perfect for you! I get some requests aren't always possible! So listen to your artist!!! But if someone tells you it can't be done, come see Clorae! She'll shoot you straight and I'm proof when other artists say it can't be done, Clorae might very well prove them wrong!
One thing I wasn't expecting! LIDOCAINE spray! WOW!!! Like I said, it had been 25 years since my last tattoo. OMG what a difference that little friend makes!!!! Getting ribs and your sternum tattooed is definitely "noticable" and I was working hard to keep that stone cold Marine badass face! ??
WOW does that stuff help! ?
My opinion is, I'll be back for more! Soon! Already working on my next meaningful story to put on my body.
Clorae is the one to make it happen!
One last little thing, I dug into every review I could find before showing up for the first tattoo... Reality is, the VERY FEW negative reviews I could find actually made me laugh!! You can't please some people no matter what! Those reviews and her responses to their ridiculous complaints solidified that she was the artist for me!
Zero complaints!! Will be back!!! She's done half my tattoos now... And I'm itching to go back for more!

My husband and I just got our first tattoos today by Clorae; we had such a good experience! She was so kind and supportive and both tattoos look perfect. We plan on returning for more soon!

Clorae at Aura is awesome! She worked on 3 small fine line tattoos on me. I had a last minute change on one of the pieces and she was very flexible and sketched out a new design. During my session, she was quick, efficient and had a gentle hand - always making sure I was comfortable. The tattoos turned out BEAUTIFULLY - so happy!!The studio is very welcoming, clean and tidy (and two cute pups greeted me at the door!). Also, I appreciated the covid safety protocols. In short: I feel as if my money was stolen (advance + tip).Clorae refused service at my appointed time coz "she was having panic attacks" and refused to reschedule or to return my money!What a way to do business!Details: I am soo disappointed with Clorae's behavior. My second appointment with her, which she rescheduled twice (she had already taken an advance payment along with an almost $15 tip). On arrival, i had questions about the consent form, and gladly accepted her demand to pay extra for the time i would take to fill out the form (took me 5 mins). She made me wait 30 mins to get the stencils for my tattoo ready, to finally come and say she was having panic attacks and cannot work with me coz i didnt fill out the form earlier. She declined service and refused a refund and refused to reschedule! While I was there at the shop, she was having a noisy argument with her staff which she took out on me too. Pretty rude and VERY weird.Never going back.

Clorae... You really need a wake up call! The consent form: You never mentioned it had to be done a day in advance! I had questions that i DID ask.. (check your camera or whatever!) I wanted to know why do you need my dob, dl and basically sensitive information for a tattoo and that too a second time! And when U answered - i WAS absolutely FINE with it! I did say that you may have sent a diff form last time coz the current form wasnt working on my phone, (which u pointed was coz i was using an android). And I dont remember having this problem earlier. Which is why i used YOUR PHONE... Remember??? Hence the confusion. And i even said... I may have forgotten what u sent the last time... Who knows. Age is catching up and i cant remember .. I was happily chatting away.. It was a simple thing!!! Go- check your camera for proof! And for anyone with any brain cells .. it would not have taken more than 5 mins to fill up that form... Which i did. Its not rocket science! I was never rude! You made a HUGE deal out of nothing! I was infact tooo excited for my tattoo! Go.. Check your messages!! Behavior: More than anything, am deeply hurt by your behavior coz i really thought we were almost friends! I was looking forward to seeing you and the adorable dogs. I even got gifts for them! You were rude from the very first "hey" and anyone could tell that you were pissed, even screaming at your coworker for the choice of music. And yes, I was concerned and hence asked you a few times if you were ok, if everything was fine. Any sane person would take it the right way. But you said it made you uncomfortable!!! Wow!!! And yes, I never intended to "disturb" your family time. I never asked you to ever respond immediately! Its a text about a tattoo design. Not a sos! And I sent you texts post 5pm coz you did. Again- not a big deal. Unless you make it ! And I did apologize when you said you were busy. Wifi: I screamed?! Girl.. i "asked". A simple common question - whats the wifi?! U got offended for that too?!?! Two tattoos: Please check the messages - From the very first time i told you I wanted 2 tattoos, i checked if you would have time for both on the same day and went ahead with the idea only when you agreed. And stuck to it. You always had the option to move my second to another day! It was never really a big deal for me. Professionalism (?) : After everything, you seemed ready, changed the music, worked on my stencils, asked me to wait for the completed stencils, 30 mins later, came back and decided to not go ahead with the tattoos coz you were panicking! I was still ok with that... And asked if you wanted to reschedule and you denied that. All during MY APPOINTED time with me sitting right there waiting! I was ok even then, but your rude comments shook me! And i had had enough by then. Its not about the $70 advance, including the $15 tip! that you refused to refund. Its about professionalism.. or in your case, the lack of it! You literally assumed circumstances that was far from the truth. I was a client that was fond of you- was happy and excited to be there, enjoying, complimenting your co-worker on her beautiful lashes, playing with your adorable dogs, was excited about the tattoo. And you, in your sick state of mind were awful, and downright weird ! There's no doubt you are talented, but unless you change your behavior and crazy outbursts, your business is going downhill. And i hope it does, coz sane people definitely deserve better! Keep the change honey!

This is my second session I booked with Clorae & to say I’m obsessed is an understatement. Her line work is absolutely phenomenal. I love the atmosphere of her shop. I also purchased most of the Mad Rabbit line that she sells in her shop and the products are amazing.
