If I could give zero starts I would.
Do not, under any circumstances come here.
TLDR -
*Expensive
*Dr said "might as well as put the dog down" if I didn't get the ear cleaning from them
*had to pay before they brought me my dog back
220$ to even book an appt. That's just the appt, nothing else. Just to walk in the door.
Vet techs were all very nice and lovely.
The Dr was one of the worse Drs I've ever met, for human or animal.
He did not introduce himself, after taking my dog to look at her ears. He came back in, explained that they were very dirty and this appointment should have happened so much sooner so obviously either me or the vet weren't paying attention.(She has had chronic ear issues and several full ear flushes, by different vets, in her life.) And if we weren't going to get the deep cleaning procedure done by them. I might as well put the dog down. Then handed me the fee sheet.
After the procedure, he showed me that her eardrums were not ruptured, which was a concern. And that in a month we should come back and have them do it again.
Then the techs came in, no dog, and gave me the bill. 700$, no not 700 after the 220 was taken off, 700 just for the sedation and full ear cleaning and meds.
They had me pay before I got my dog back. I had to pay, then they brought her out to the front lobby to me.
Messaged my regular vet, and got a follow up with them and let them know not to recommend this office again.

These employees are friendly and my gosh are they on top of everything. I started going to this clinic because my dog was suffering from so many allergies. They tried all the cost effective ways to see what was going on and it was only then we decided to go the more expensive route-I appreciated that they try to do this as cheaply as possible because it does add up. Despite the expense, the medication they prescribed my dog has made him happier. I like this clinic and will continue going there as long as my dog needs it.

I had a terrible experience here. They prescribed my senior, 6lb dog a dosage that was 10 times higher than it should have been, leading to a serious emergency. After my dog started throwing up and becoming lethargic, we called the clinic immediately. They promised the doctor would call back but no one ever did. We ended up rushing our dog to urgent care, and we didn’t hear back from them until four days later. I won’t be returning to this clinic.

The clinic and Dr. Rice and Dr Masutani are without saying the most knowledgeable Veterinary specialists in Dermatology for cats and dogs in this area. They saved my cat, Katie, from a continued life of injuring herself by chewing her body. Once they identified what she was allergic to, they were able to stabilize her problem with a specific serum that was specific to Katie's own body. What else could one ask for their own loved pets? Thank you so much for your knowledge and care. L & W Swan

My French Bulldog has been going here for over a year now. He started with sores and breakouts all over his body and black in the folds of his face. He’s on allergy shots and an oral medication and he’s been doing wonderful. He still has occasional breakouts but nothing like it was and no more nasty in the facial folds. The doctor and staff are wonderful and I would recommend whole heartedly. It absolutely does cost money but that’s why I have pet insurance. So if your beloved pet ( family) has skin issues, these guys are the best!

DON’T RECOMMEND - Trying to suck every last penny out of you!Went to the appointment thinking we could diagnose what our dog is allergic to for $169 which is what we were told when we called. We head to the appointment where they said they standardly these tests for dogs. Next thing you know we are walking out with a bill OVER 10X the cost. There was no transparency at all that all the “standard” tests and medication were this much.Additionally, they tried to upsell us on a subscription of something like $200 every month. How can they expect any owner to be okay with these shady practices. Finally, they wanted us to schedule a follow up appointment for our dog based on the treatments but how the heck can I justify coming back when the first appointment was over $1500.This place was extremely infuriating!

I am so impressed with, and grateful for the care and expertise of Dr. Duclos and his vet tech staff. I am a groomer and see skin issues on dogs and cats, without evidence of fleas or bites. I am referring customers to the Animal Skin and Allergy Clinic. Make your appointment there, before hit and miss treatments from your local vet. You'll save money in the long run, and, most importantly, your dog or cat will be feeling good again. My pomeranian, 15 years old, had been very uncomfortable with a skin issue. My vet perscribed antibiotics and cortisone spray. We did 2 rounds of this and a Cytopoint injection. No change. Thankfully, a friend referred me to Lynwood clinic. We had a couple months to wait for our appointment, but my dog was on the mend in three days after our visit. He had a mite infestation. Easy treatment: Simparica TRIO 1x/mo to kill all parasites, and Cephalexin liquid {antibiotic} for 2 weeks to clear legions. They also took blood (without shaving his arm), and urine to detect any underlying health issues, and a culture to check if ringworm was present. Lab results were sent via email (all good for my pup), and the culture would have results in two weeks. My bill was $670. And my dog was completely comfortable in the arms of the vet tech (and this is unusual for him). I just wonder why traditional vets don't do skin scrapings and look under a microscope? I like Dr. Duclos' direct approach at diagnosing a skin issue with on-the-spot science.

They were able to help my dog with his allergies. Yes it cost money, but now he is living life mostly itch free. Recently he develop a tumor I was so concerned about. I wrote a letter and sent pictures and they were able to get him in sooner. Instead of taking my money and beating around the bush, this clinic gets to the source and to the point. Which is a win in my book. I get results here. They also scored a lot of points for getting me in sooner and for hearing my concern. I can't thank them enough and so pleased. I highly reccomend if your pet is suffering.

Took my cat here in 2020 after years of money and time spent trying to fix his issues. Turns out it was just chronic allergies! The allergy serum shots literally saved his life, yes it was costly, but it would have been cheaper if I would have gone here first. If your pet has skin issues, skip the primary vet and go here it'll save you money in the long run! The one con about this place: I recently moved to Tacoma, and they made me come in for a "yearly check up" even though no one has called me to schedule one in 3 years.. having a cat in the car for 2+ hours is a nightmare.. I would love to continue to purchase my cats medicine from here, but will have to find a new clinic if they make me drive my cat back(when he's doing just fine) seems like a money grab
