I am so grateful to have come across Alderwood Auto Repair! The whole team did a great job of communicating with me as well as diagnosing and repairing my vehicle with a fast turnaround. The inspection report with photos is helpful, I trust the work that was done, costs were fair and communication was smooth throughout. Couldn't have asked for a better set of circumstances while navigating car trouble and blinking warning lights. Appreciate the whole crew and plan to return but hopefully for something less exciting like an oil change.

I had my oil filter housing fixed and my oil pressure sensor as well since my truck was leaking oil. They did a great job and pricing was agreed with both party. I still had a checking engine light and they told me it was my cam position sensor. Took it in again. Bill was honest about about them probably mistakenly disconnected. They didn’t charge me second time. I tell you this Auto Repair shop is honest and well deserved of the recognition. I RECOMMEND

Needed an oil change for my CR-V - work was thorough and fast! Had great followup to track future maintenance needs, complete with photos. I've never been to a shop that tracked maintenance with actual photographic records, I appreciate that level of attentiveness. A great local business to support!

We went to Alderwood for the first time last week and it was a great experience! Our Mazda was making an awful noise, and they fit us in same-day.They text you an inspection with pictures and videos of any issues they find. Pricing was very fair when I looked it up on a few websites. They had the repairs done within just 2 days (had to order specific parts because it's an older car).Then today our Subaru had a tire pressure light and they fit us in same-day again. Discovered a screw in the tire!Seriously amazing customer service, and really trustworthy with the photo proof of the repairs.

In my opinion they are the worst auto repair around!!! I am new to the state and to Seattle, so I took a chance on trying to find someone to repair my truck. I drove my truck to Adlerwood Auto. They called my and said that I had cylinder issues. They sent me a diagnostic with the issues. They gave me the option to either fix the vehicle or replace the engine. I told them let me look in to and I will get back with them. I called back the following day and said let just go ahead and fix the vehicle. I was then informed that they would no longer repair the engine and they would only replace! I said wait wait that’s not what was said yesterday. He said well it’s our decision now. They then went back and rewrote the diagnostic and completely changed all the wording. So I figured since they were now saying that my vehicle is dead on arrival that I would try and make a claim thru my insurance. I had my insurance company call on my behalf and they told him I would have to call up there and give permission for him to have my information. So I call and speak to the gentleman at the counter and he says I’ve made a note on your account. I said thank you and let my insurance agent know. I get a call the following day from my insurance that I now have to email permission. So I called and spoke with the lady at the counter who was super rude, bossy, and demanding. She kept trying to tell me to stop yelling at her when I was not yelling and kept telling me she was going to hang up on me instead of just listening to me. She took no responsibility for the man who answered the phone and said he isn’t Human Resources so he wouldn’t know. I told her I would wait on the phone for her to send me the text message stating their email address. That made her super frustrated but I told her I want the taken care of now. So she put me on hold for a good amount of time before the text came thru. She proceeded to tell me that my vehicle isn’t on their lot so I’m not technically their client currently. I said wow but I was your customer and I would definitely not be anymore and I would let others know to be aware that this company operated. JUST KNOW YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED ***

JUST KNOW YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED *** Updated***** as per your response that's a bold face lie. You went back and "updated" the diagnostic! And yes after you updated the diagnostics you said my vehicle was dead in arrival. Your initial diagnostics said that a spark plug needed to be hand tightened that spark plug was the one making the noise. And yes the one could had damage to it. You gave me the option to either a fix the vehicle or be get a new engine and I told you that I would need time to make that decision. I then called back a day later to say that I couldn't afford the engine if we could just move forward with fixing the engine I would be grateful at that point in time the gentleman who was on the phone told me that I would be compromising the companies integrity if they fixed my vehicle and they were no longer willing to try and fix the vehicle and then I was only able to get a new engine at that point. And then, after you told me that the following day, the gentleman went back and try to fix the engine by adding a new spark plug and updated the diagnostics, and took out half of what the initial diagnostic said, and rewrote the rest of it. You need to get your facts straight before you come for somebody!!

Super nice people here that got my car in (and fixed!) the day after I called. The prices seemed reasonable to me compared to other shops I called, perhaps a bit lower than other places. They also stayed up until the very last minute working on my car to get it back to me same day. I would highly recommend them and plan to go back with any future issues!

This is definitely my new go-to place for car services. The owners were friendly and passionate. I was sent a nifty little prioritized report of things that needed to be fixed, along with photos. I was able to call and go over what was sent in the report and ask ‘how much’ and then choose what services I wanted done. Prices seemed reasonable. They were able to accommodate my schedule, and best of all, the work came in well under the quote. I’m a happy customer!

Honest and fair priced place. They were able to give me a super detailed report of what is wrong with my car. They sent videos and pictures of all the issues. They gave me a fair and upfront price that didnt have extra added stuff I didnt need or ask for. Very communicative via text and phone. This place will be my go to shop going forward and I will be recommending to others as well
