Ive used Wayne's for years and they do good work. For regular service they give a through check list and go over every detail. Their prices are fair and they can work on most anything including our Mercedes diesel, Chev Duramax and all the gas rigs we have.

Wayne is well known in Whatcom County because he's been here most of his life. I've known him and his shop for over 25 years. In that time, he has done varied work on varied vehicles for me in a timely, reliable, and very professional service. Wayne's Car Care & Transmission is a top-notch service center for all of your vehicles needs. Except for tires, "We don't do tires."

I asked for a coolant system flush explaining someone had put oil in the coolant reservoir. I told them I needed it flushed so I could then get it diagnosed. Left it with them. The technician called and said they couldn't complete the diagnosis because the heater core wouldn't flush. I told them to stop and I'll pick it up. I asked them why they didn't do just what I ordered, a flush. They charged me for a useless diagnosis that couldn't be done because the system is clogged. They used my radiator hose to try a bypass flush cutting it up And had the nerve to ask me to pay for a new hose so I could take it away. You can't trust this shop to follow simple instructions. This place is either intentionally dishonest, or doesn't understand the cooling system enough to do simple deductive reasoning. Use them with caution or they'll upcharge you to replace parts you don't need.
