The Islander is a charming and convenient general store on a small, cute island. The store provides most essential household items and some fresh food, including fruits, vegetables, and vegan options such as vegan cheeses, veggie burgers, and TV dinners. Staff are friendly, helpful, and pleasant, making visitors feel welcomed. Many customers appreciate the store’s fair selection and the fact that they can find everything they need without making a trip back to Bellingham. The store also features a small gift shop in the back, adding to its charm. Overall, The Islander is a friendly, useful, and surprising spot that helps visitors enjoy more time on the island without the need to leave for groceries.
Just dropped in for snacks during my ride around the island. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'll plan to stop here on bike rides to fuel up and support their business

Very nice, basic needs. Friendly staff. Fresh cookies baked in-store. They have lemons.

A great little general store for most of your needs. Don't expect a big variety of one item, but in general during our stay on the island we found everything we needed there.
