I stayed here over Memorial weekend. I’m not sure I will go back. The cabin (#6) was cute and the bed was super comfy. It overlooks the water from up above meaning you have to walk around all other cabins and down the hill to the the water. There was only 2 small windows that opened in the kitchen. None in the bedroom. The shower! The hot water lasted 2 minutes and that is no exaggeration! There was no WiFi for the weekend, of course! Leading up to my visit and after my visit I tried contacting the owners with questions and never have gotten a response. I did both e-Mail and fb messaging. Trying to call it won’t accept calls? It’s frustrating! The price is way over what it is worth. I never did see the owners as they left the key on the table when you got there and you left it when you left.

I have my own private place at the top of the resort, it has been in my family for over 50 years. I am now the owner and have been coming to this resort since I was a wee youngster. It is very nice, clean and a very family friendly place. I love it!

We love it here! Laid back friendly environment where your kids can play in lake. Store and cafe are super convenient, and the food is great. We have stayed in our camper as well as rented a cabin with a large group of people, both were awesome. The new owners take pride in getting to know guests and improving the property. And July 4th was freaking amazing!!!!

I think they have new ownership since we visited in 2018. The place has new paint but whom ever owns/manages it now isn't present or maybe it's the teen girl at the general shop. She wasn't a conversationalist and didn't offer any info unless directly asked. The other guests had young kids that were not supervised and fishing off the dock right at the swimming spot. They were throwing the hooks right between the other children swimming. Kinda think they were the owners kids cause they came from the cabin connected the the gift/tackle shop. Lots of baby wipes floating in the water and cardboard boxes stashed everywhere. The bathhouse/bathroom was dirty and the clientele seemed very trashy. I will never come back. It was so nice and clean in 2018.

No control over who comes and goes, parking is an absolute nightmare. More a party place for the new owners and their friends. More dogs off leash than on leash and no control of that. Owners are more concerned about letting their teenage children host an underage drinking party that goes until all hours of the night. Garbage overflowing at every dumpster. Pretty sure that no one really pays and comes and uses the beach and facilities as they please and no one monitors who’s coming and going. The new owners have no clue how to run a business, their only concern is using the resort as their personal party place.

My family spent the 4th of July weekend at Shore Acres. The owners seem to use their bisiness as one big party spot. Cars rolling in and out at all hours, when supposedly day use was closed. Many of which were being driven by drunk people. The entire place was so over crowded we could not find a place on the beach to swim during our 5 day stay. This place had no rules. Dogs roaming everywhere, no quiet time, garbage all over the place. The owners were too busy spending time with their friends to care. At one point, an entire cabin full of underage drinkers became so out of control, my family could not sleep through the noise and felt unsafe. When we could not find the owners, yet again, we politely asked yhem to keep it down. When that failed, my husband approached the cabin where he was verbally assulted by several teenagers. One claimed his parents were the owners and he was going to get us kicked out. Sure enough, him and his friends called their parents (who were at a bar) and claimed my husband kicked the door down and threatened them all with our dog. This claim was so outrageous, I thought owners would see reason and handle the situation accordingly. This was not the case. After more verbal assults from the owners and their friends, whom were all very drunk, my family was forced to pack up at 12:30 at night on the 4th of July and head home. The owners not only allowed these 18 year olds to drink, but were actually encouraging it. As we were packing, several of the teenagers stood by to watch and laugh at us. My family came to enjoy the lake and have a nice vacation. Instead we were surrounded by party goers, more traffic than downtown spokane, and embarrassed in front of our 6 year old son. This place is unsafe and most definitely not family friendly. The owners have no clue how to run a hospitality business and seem clueless as the the liability they are responsible for. Between the lack of rules and run down docks, this place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Needless to say, I do not recommend it to anyone. In fact, I strongly encourage people to stay away.

December 2022 by Jennifer Mayther
If I could give a zero I would. I booked a rv spot online for a week in June of 2022. I even called and got a confirmation email sent to me. Our family has vacationed there for the last four years. Well the resort sold. The new owners let me know my reservation had to be cancelled due to over booking. I was very understanding, it was not their fault the previous owners over booked. I was told I would be refunded for what I had paid for the reservation by the owner in person, emails and phone conversations. It is now December 2022 and I still have not gotten a refund. They will not answer or return my calls and emails. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! I will now have to take legal action if I ever want to see my money again.
