Folks Walgreens in Longview Wa polices may meds and I’m tired of it! I had a prescription for gabepentin which is NOT a controlled substance.
They told me they couldn’t fill because last was filled on June 23 and it was July 18 th. I transferred it to Walmart and they filled right away.
This has happened many times. I feel like a criminal at Walgreens. In addition there prices are higher than Walmart! Now I’m not saying this will happen to you and this is not a reflection negatively of Walgreens especially their other stores

Right after we moved here two years ago, we went to the pharmacy to get our flu shots. There were no customers at the counter and no customers waiting, but we were told we had to make an appointment online. We went to Fred Meyer instead and got our flu shots within the hour.
Fast-forward a couple of years to last week. My husband needed emergency dental surgery, and the physician sent a prescription for medication to intervene with the pain until the surgery could be performed. (Fred Meyer didn't have the medication, so it had to be requested through Walgreens.) When I called to see if the prescription was ready, the recording said they had the prescription and that I could pick it up after 8:00 p.m. Then the recording said the pharmacy hours were 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hmmm...makes it a bit difficult to pick it up, eh?
This morning, I stopped to return an item, there were no customers in the store, only two employees, and the front checkouts were closed, so I had to go back to the photo department to return the item. (My husband had also been in the store earlier last week and he had to checkout at the photo department.) Additionally, there was a sign on the door stating that the pharmacy was closed due to illness.
It's unfortunate that this store has challenges as it is the only Walgreens store in Longview. Hopefully, management will be able to work out its problems.

Walgreens is my "corner store", run to place. They have a little bit of everything there! And it really comes in handy.

I guess this isn't technically a negative review or rating, but I definitely am not satisfied with this Walgreens. Not that it needs to be "the greatest thing ever" but I wish it was better. My main issue is their stock, typically it seems to be not only outdated...but not filled either. A lot seems to be out of stock, and they seem to not have the new stuff. But aside from that, it's honestly a perfectly acceptable establishment. Relatively clean, nice workers, it's definitely got a big parking lot while ALSO being big inside the store. There's even a Redbox outside, if that's your thing. For me, this store is a perfectly reasonable stop if you're wanting to. Especially if you're a regular. But with the other options right across the street, I'd say just go there. But I'm not mad at this place at all. Just a bit underwhelmed and dissatisfied.

I got my son’s invitations and envelopes printed and neither is centered correctly. I designed them myself so I wanted them to look nice. Just disappointed. I won’t get prints done here again.

I get it, people get COVID, it’s understandable. But, when you drive over an hour roundtrip to pick up a prescription and the pharmacy is closed because the pharmacist has COVID it’s pretty disappointing. I’ve also experienced difficulties when trying to get my prescriptions mailed. And not long ago they switched pharmacy opening hours from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. So I show up a couple times prior to 9 before I realized the hours have changed and was really annoyed. It’s just been one let down after another, so I’m switching.
I will say, the people who work here are nice. But, still, it’s been enough of a hassle that I’m just done.

I love the deals I get from being a rewards member. Signing up is really easy and super fast. All you need is a phone number. Everyone that works there are friendly and helpful.

Very unhappy to drive all the way to find out they won't load any cash cards after 9pm. Theres no reason for me to ever come to Walgreens again. Pharmacy hasn't been great either in the past also.

I am so furious rewriting this, I cannot in any way condone the actions at this store. I probably would’ve left it alone. If not for a phone call this morning. Monday I went to pick up my daughters prescription, they couldn’t find it. I called the doctor who confirmed it had been sent to this pharmacy. I waited a couple hours and went into the store. They had put the medication under my name. I thought it was strange but okay. Got home and realized it was a 30 day supply, not a 90 day supply. Called Walgreens yet again and they tell me insurance would only cover 30 days. Called the doctor had it sent to another pharmacy, picked up the meds within an hour, full 90 days. Come to find out, whoever filled the prescription was extremely lazy and negligent. They didn’t pay enough attention and not only put this medication in my name, it showed up on my medical chart and the charged the wrong insurance. My daughter and my birthdate are only a couple days different. So they never read the full prescription. Luckily this wasn’t heart medication or a controlled substance. And also luckily it was the same family. The pharmacist was so apologetic and kind. I understand mistakes happen,however this was pure negligence . The manager called this morning and he was clueless as to what happened and tried to blow it off as not a big deal. Wow. I also will state this for the record. I have no intention of suing Walgreens. Just clean up your act. Treat your customers as you or your family to be treated. Remember this is peoples lives you are dealing with
