The staff is friendly and it is usually a good place to pull in with the boat to get fueled up. But Time after Time the deli food has not been edible. We tried again this week and ended up out on the boat with food we could not eat. The cheeseburgers were dry and gross. And the sausage/ meatball kabobs had clearly been sitting for quite some time.

Updated 9/22 Short Stop - A Longview staple. - New Ownership Review Update 9/2022: Very clean, much less clutter. Looks and feels much better."You can't worry about waste at the beginning of starting a new hot deli." They recently added a nice selection of hot food items, could benefit from keeping hot food items cooked and available to purchase. It will eventually lead to zero waste and high turnover. Hard to pass up hot food, but easy to pass when there's not much selection in the window. Advice: Cook and Load a large selection of different hot food items in the morning. Restock an hour before lunch. And again an hour before dinner. Do this for a few weeks minimum and you'll gain regular hot food customers who come specifically for the food, as well as have a better idea of what and how much to have in the case at all times. You can't worry about waste at the beginning of starting a new hot deli. Higher end of gas prices in town. New ownership has de-cluttered and cleaned the interior, which I appreciate. Feels clean. No more asian flea market knock off items, looks and feels 100's times better. The prices seem to be on the higher end of the spectrum, but, it's also a clean and nice store so it's understandable.
