“I get alot of Keto items here. Prices are so much lower than anywhere else in the area. There are only a few items in the store overall that you can count on being there, as the items are there for various reasons, not sold, damaged packaging, etc. I have bought items that where old, so be careful of that. Good deals. For instance they have two steaks for 8.99.”

“Be sure to watch the register when being rung up so you don't get overcharged. Other than that, haven't had any issues with this store besides occasional bums hanging around outside who like to beg for money. Storefront has been remodeled and is much nicer looking.”

“Always loved Safeway... BUT INFLATION is killing us with these prices. Prices are still rising but if you look for the deals and use their app, you will save some $$$$$$.”

“Lots of tweaker all the time and the parking lot could really use a remodel especially that deadly hole in the back but that being said I've never had any problems here w staff or anything like that and this is the only place in town I go for gas”

“I only shop at the Ocean Beach Safeway. They have the best service. One particular person is especially helpful and kind. I think he may be a new hire. His name is Aidan. Please pass this in to him and his manager. Thanks, Dana Leaf”

“Holts market is good store. Clerks are friendly and fast but the neighborhood is rough so don't leave the car running and lock your doors just in case. Seriously! Lol There's a variety of merchandise available so I don't think I'd send a kid in alone either.”

“The energy drink selection is really good. The on the job clerk was kind and helped my ailing grandmother carry out her little sack of goods when she visited the store. I’d go back for taco Tuesday.”

“Really cool guys, we didn't realize what time they closed. They stayed open to change out our tires and sold us some used ones mounted and balanced for a really decent price! Definitely worth checking out!”

“Well lit, well stocked. When items are featured in the food ads you can expect a good price. Overall, the prices are fair but slightly higher than WinCo or Walmart for most (but not all) items. Store people are personable and knowledgeable always willing to help you out with the groceries. New shopping/trolley carts have both phone and cup holders... And it could be me, but the child seat seems higher. The store is set up like fort Knox, barriers to get in -- or out of the store. It is the first store with this sort of barricade in the area. Sadly, shoplifting seems to be a new sport here in the United States... For instance, None of the local Walmarts have this setup but it's normal for them in the bigger cities -- using your receipt as a way to exit.”

“The store's staff are all pretty friendly. It's conveniently placed next to a laundromat and a Thai food restaurant. The only downside is that the prices are a bit high.”

“It is a good store, although prices are getting high. My wife and I shopped there today(April 18th). She is 73 years old, handicapped and has a brain tumor so she is a bit slow and not too coordinated. She was riding a store electric cart. It appeared to be a new cart, but that's not important. On our way to the car to unload our groceries, she pulled up along side the car to back up next to her door, since she can't walk unassisted. When she started to back up, the cart took off at a sudden high speed, due to a fault in the carts electronics. She lost control, due to the rapid reversing, and the cart tipped over. Fortunately for her and for Fred Meyer, Longview, she was not hurt, other than a laceration on her lower leg. There happened to be about 5 employees in close proximity, and they rushed over to help. They picked up our groceries and assisted me in getting her on her feet and into the car. Her condition is such that I could not have done it by myself. I have to thank those employees that were moving carts, and loading groceries into other cars in the pickup spots. Fred Meyer could be liable for a big law suit, if they don't address this issue and get their carts modified so they are not so uncontrollable when in reverse, and turning. ALL carts she has used at Fred Meyer's have had the same dangerous quirk, not only the one she used today. I have seen so many people run into the shelves, and/or knock over displays because the machines take off so fast when making a sharp turn. Please address this issue, Fred Meyer/Kroger or be ready for a huge lawsuit from someone. Serious injuries can occur with these dangerous handicap carts.”

“I don't usually have my prescriptions filled at Walmart, but we were in a time crunch and Walmart was the only pharmacy open after 6:00 p.m. on this particular day. The prescription was called in by the medical provider, and the folks at Walmart had it ready within 30 minutes. I was amazed!! Keep up the good work!!”
