“Just wanted to let everone know St Vincent de Paul has a big sign out front saying NO DONATION ACCEPTED, but they do take some things like fruit, garden stuff, fresh meat and seafood, hotdogs, and things that are just not old and outdated, they only put that sign up because people would bring old outdated stuff. So always check if you have donation. Most of the time they need hotdogs.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Emergency Support Shelter. My children and I stayed here for three months during one of the most difficult periods of our lives, and the staff supported us with compassion, dignity, and genuine care.

They helped me secure scholarships so I could continue my education, walked with me through court proceedings, answered every question I had, even when I was overwhelmed, and truly wanted to see me succeed. I never felt judged or alone. They provided safety, stability, and emotional support when we needed it most.

Because of this shelter, my children and I have a foundation to rebuild and move forward. I will always be grateful for the incredible work they do for survivors and families in crisis. Thank you for giving us not only shelter, but hope.”
