I'm here from South Carolina for a work project and plan on doing some fishing on the Cowlitz. Not.knowing squat about Salmon fishing or.river set ups.for.salmon I headed to Bob's for some.information. The people there were incredibly helpful. From the staff to the customers they all helped me out finding what I would need and gave some.great advice. A very solid place and I.will.be back. Thanks to everybody.

Absolutely insane variety, and the price on my boots was 10% cheaper than the company website even though it's a brand new model.

I bought a Okuma fishing pole from Bob's 4 months ago I used it three times. The ceramic center on the tip fell out. Of course I didn't have a receipt all I wanted to do was exchange it. And they wouldn't do it I've spent thousands of dollars in there over the years. And this is the way they're going to treat me I told him to keep the pole and I'll never go in there again. There is nothing in there I can't get somewhere else. They're going to lose thousands of dollars in future business over $100 fishing pole. Good job ?. Whatever happened to standing behind your stuff and customer service.2/25/24 updateThat all sounds good in your rebuttal to my original post but that's a big negative you can spin it anyway you want. My nephew Was with me when I bought that fishing pole. Yes, okuma does stamp them but that doesn't mean that's when I bought that fishing pole. That A production code. Who knows how long it was in transport or set on the shelf somewhere, your associating a fishing department said the same thing. Lol. I bought that pole 4 months ago, you can say whatever you want. But that doesn't make it true or right in the way you treated me. And your associate told me to go to okuma to Resolve the issue instead of you guys just stand behind your products, your employee told me there was nothing they could do. So write whatever you want, Whatever makes you feel better but you're still wrong and the way you treated me was wrong. I politely told your associate to keep the fishing pole then walked out, I didn't make a scene or anything. You're just trying to save a little face in the public eye. You don't treat customers this way. Well you do. But you'll lose them. You're going to throw thousands and thousands of dollars in future business away over $100 fishing pole. Good job.

I live in a disabled veteran apartment complex across the street from Bob's. There is no parking here at the complex. Thats not Bob's problem. Two of the disabled vets asked permission and were granted permission to park there. Then Matt the owner sent word that the 2 veterans have 30 minutes to move their vehicles or they would be towed immediately One of the veterans hit an IED while serving in Iraq and can barely walk. He also has severe PTSD. I know it's not Bob's responsibility but a little courtesy for veterans that fought for their freedom and right to run a business in this country!

Need to update hours for the bike shop. I drove an hour to take my bike in and the website says it open, just to arrive and it's closed. Waste of gas and time.

All I asked for today was some Denim overalls, preferably size 34 or 36. The nice lady at the counter told me that we would have to order them I said okay that's fine. I paid for the expedited shipping and along with my order I received a fully functional automatic AK-12 with a "boomer gun" sticker on the hand-guard.10/10 definitely recommend!

I think I have done enough business here to say that this is the best sporting good store around. Best prices, best selection. The work wear and boot selection is amazing as well! Plus all the employees are always friendly!

Bob’s is by far, the best sporting goods store for all of your outdoor activities and needs. The employees are knowledgeable and very helpful. This store has it all: Fishing, hunting, Archery, Muzzle loading, Rifle, home protection, ext. They carry excellent quality products in, clothing, camping, backpacking and foot wear brands. As well as less expensive gear to accommodate a beginner or lower budget. The annex department is also top notch. Canning, preserving, cooking and smoking equipment and supplies.Do yourself a favor and skip the big box stores. The prices are great at Bob’s and you get the local knowledge with friendly service. Can’t say enough!!!!!!GREAT STORE AND EMPLOYEES!

Family-owned, local focus with welcoming and friendly staff. And a variety of products and supplies that meets the needs of the local community. Do you want to know how to be a successful community business in this world of big box stores and conglomerates? Bob’s is the model to follow.
