We visited Leavenworth for the first time, and of all the shops, this one is my favorite! Lots of precious Franz items, but what I love mostly is the vast collection of Michel Works: soap bars, moisturizers, home sprays, candles, foaming hand soaps of all fragrances, aprons and kitchen towels with gorgeous floral patterns. The owners are the most friendly people I have ever met. Wish I lived closer to this shop!! ( I am from San Francisco, CA )

the owner was so kind to me! such a patient and courteous person. i purchased a bar soap, jubilee, and it smells dreamy! along with two journals with beautiful covers, and a tote bag with a beautiful design. the store offered a lot of goods! i can't wait to visit again!

Love everything about this shop. If I could afford it, I would totally buy a lot more than I did. But I picked up some jams, and jelly's that you can't get at a lot of places. Certain flavors that is. I haven't been inside this shop since winter 2007/08. The gentleman behind the counter told us the story on how his wife loved this shop so much, that a few years ago, she saw the for sale sign, and told her husband that she must purchase this place. So they are the new owners. What a sweet story! He was so friendly! But the best part about this shop, is you have to go through the place to get to my favorite gourmet chocolates. Yes! I will drive over 2 hours just to get them! Sure I can order online, but what's fun about that!

Got some chocolates for a reasonable price. The cashier was incredibly friendly and talkative but not in a pushy way. Doesn't deserve the low ratings, we will definitely be back!

I liked they free trial offerings at the counter. I tried caramel, sea salt and almond chocolate for FREE. Thanks guys! I had $14 white chocolate box which comes with 9 chocolates. Mango, almond, coffee are good, only things I remembered. Most of them are good here! I would rate you guys 5.

Whenever we visit Leavenworth, we always stop by Schocolat. It's one of my favorite chocolate shops! I prefer dark chocolate and my boyfriend prefers milk chocolate, and they have a great selection of both. I particularly recommend the sea salt caramels in either dark or milk chocolate. The earl grey is another favorite of ours too. The chocolates themselves are lovely, and there are also several box options to choose from, including a candy cane or snowman box for the holidays. These chocolates make a delightful treat for yourself or a great gift for someone else.

Came here to get a souvenir for my mom. The experience is really great: the person at the counter always offers a taste of something, often a few things. They are very generous and friendly. Best part is, my mom said they were the best chocolates she's ever tasted and knew exactly what she was getting everyone for Christmas. We went back on a second trip and got another box.

I wandered in here looking for some placemats and happen to find a chocolate shop in the back of a beautiful store. We had just eaten lunch so it was the perfect time to have a little treat. The employees who greeted me offered me both caramel and chocolate sauce to try and they were amazing. I could have eaten a whole jar of it by spoon. They were the perfect texture and not too rich but very flavorful. They had a glass case full of many different kinds of chocolates and they let me try one! They were amazing! My favorite was the coconut caramel. It had almonds in it and was like a Samoa Girl Scout cookies. Ordered a 12 piece box for a good price and brought all of our chocolates back to our house! I definitely recommend if you're looking for homemade awesome chocolates at a good price!!

Best chocolate I've ever had in my life, and I'm a massive chocolate snob, I spent my childhood in England and I've eaten my share of chocolate from other European countries, admittedly I am comparing it to the "chocolate" sold in grocery stores here in the USA, but this chocolate is outstanding. We have so much fun visiting every tine we are in Leavenworth, which is at least once a year since it's only about 2-1/2 hours from where we live. I wish I could stop in for their chocolate more often!

Schocolat was my favorite store in Leavenworth!! The workers were so friendly and they were extremely knowledgeable with all the merchandise in store. I tried the pear caramel, fudge with the cocoa almonds, and a nutmeg truffle. It isn't everyday where you get such quality small batch chocolate. I bought 2 chocolate bars and a truffle assortment box as souvenirs. Do not miss out on Schocolat!!
