Unfortunately this is the closest Walmart to my home, ever since they took away the massive self-checkout that I’m sure cost a pretty penny, it had been complete chaos and disorganisation at this store. I do my best to avoid it like the plague

Pickup lately has been terrible, nobody ever really answers the phone when you call to check in not only that but people have waited for 3 hours for someone to bring out their orders. You can see employees standing around talking, it’s really frustrating. Please address this issue and fix it.

15 minutes to shop, 45 minutes in line to check out. Sucks that Walmart is the only place I can get one of the items I needed.

Degenerate scumbags worthless excuses of human beings shop and work here. Never shop at Walmart unless you want to hate humanity. We need to tank their stock and force them to change or bankruptcy. Horrible CEO horrible shopping experience. Stop supporting these people. They don’t even shop here. They never have and never will. If you think of yourself as a worthless person this is your store.

Prices are good, but every time I come here the lines are wildly long. Hire more cashiers

Well I contacted the service department to have an oil change because i was out that way in Lakewood already for an appointment. simple right so it seemed, they had it done fairly quickly . I was pleased and drove the car home then to work and back. I went out the next morning and saw oil on the floor in my garage. I called and spoke to the manager, he said to drive it in, I told him there is just a little bit of oil on the end of The dip stick. He said there was enough in the engine to make it 30 miles, mind you its about 30 minutes away. The oil was coming out more after starting the car. . I decided to go to a nearby Walmart to get it checked out, long story short they used the wrong size gasket and by the time I got to this Walmart off meridian it had lost 4.5 quarts out of 5.9 quarts in my car. They told me if I would have driven it to Lakewood it wouldn't have made it, that my engine would have seased up. This Walmart, meridian South , replaced the gasket and oil I needed and when speaking to the manager I had to ask for a mat and oil spill powder to clean up my garage and driveway. she gave me what I needed and that was good but I shouldn't have had to ask for it, plus my under carriage was full of oil. Don't you think they should have offered to pay for pressure washing too? Who knows if there was engine damage? Not a happy camper! P. S. One Walmart to another doesn't like to fix another's Walmarts mistakes because it looks bad on their records they keep! Really!

I wish I could give the store a zero for the simple fact you take away self checkout! You got one cashier so of course the lines are long. I go in there for 2 items it took me a half an hour to get out of there.. if you take away the self checkout then hire more cashier! People are going to get tired of coming two this Walmart they will take their business elsewhere so you're just going to lose money simple as that!

What can I say, it's a Walmart. It used to be a good experience, but as Bob Dylan said, " The times they are a changing". As prices of things go up, services drop. You buy your items and have to become an employee of the store and bag your own items. Unless you buy a bag, then they bag your items. The job descriptions did not change. I don't mind doing my bagging but give me a discount for doing your employees job. I would not mind doing the work if they opened more registers and cut the wait time.
But what can I say, it's a Walmart.

I shop many Depts here. Food like everywhere is high priced. Hobby section I can sometimes find a good deal/bargain. They haven't had a halfway decent selection of woman's slippers for over! 5 years! Baby section: diapers/wipes, doesn't always have a full selection. Sold out items lead to holes in the shelves. Otherwise a diff item gets out there to fill the hole- Not Good! Household items, often items are sold out. Clearance aisles often have decent enuff deals, not always. No longer see the smaller carts. Those are desperately necessary. If I can't get an E-cart. . . The E-carts, there are not enuff of them! There is a Filipina woman at the door, she is Wonderful. Friendly, professional. An older woman, strawberryblond @ Cstmr Svc., she's Fantastic. Expediant. The ladies rm are usually kept clean and stocked.
The employees have let me in, bc I'm on kidney meds., and when it's time to Go, I Gottaa Go!! Freezer and Dairy section are usually in good shape. Meat, bakery, bread Depts., are good. As I approach the deli/bread dept., I smell Mold, for over 6yrs. I'm Highly Sensitive to it. I have to Move! Get Away from the Mold. Mold is spores- It's in the air.

This is a nightmare store, and whoever does the picking for pickup orders, you need to teach them how to read, so they stop screwing the orders up!! My wife did an order, and they just grabbed stuff off the shelves like a 2-year-old and called it good. How do you grab guacamole dip instead of French onion dip, etc, etc?!.
