“I love the Lakewood Veterinary Hospital. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I've taken my 3 dogs here for different reasons and everytime they are extremely helpful and explain everything. Plus they are very affordable! Highly recommend to make this your primary vet.”

When I had a dog who sadly had full blown heart failure it was this clinic that held my hand & his paw ….. “Was able to come in early due to the text option. This is a great way to communicate with customers who don’t answer phone calls immediately. My experience with my dog was amazing and really quick. The vet was nice and handled her gently. I came in with my two small children and was done within ten minutes. Will definitely come back.”
“The day you need an emergency veterinarian is always insanely stressful to say the least, but for me was also incredibly emotional. Every single member of the staff I have interacted with, and there have been several over the last week while we try to figure out what’s going on and provide the best care for my pet, has gone above and beyond both in terms of care and service provided, and in understanding the strong emotions that come when your pet is unwell. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I’ve worked in a few different vet clinics and been a client to a few more, and this office is by far the best I’ve seen.”
“You have great vets. However, it seems like they're often overworked and that there's a high turnover rate. In addition, different colors would be quite soothing instead of fast food colors, lime green and orange. We drive an extra 45 minutes to go to a Banfield that is not hosted in a PetSmart.”

“I have had a great experience at The Pet Doctor. They go to great lengths to make sure every pet is healthy and comfortable! Because of this they are super busy. One employee really stands out amongst how busy they get. Lexi, the one who most likely will answer your call, is always so patient and sincere. It's hard to be patient when you are busy and have worked a long day, but somehow Lexi always manages to answer the phone with a kind voice and a ready-to-help attitude.
