Nathalie is the sweetest person. Her smile lights up the room. She takes her time listening to what you want and makes sure you are happy with everything before leaving. Nathalie can do it all! She understands the human body better than anyone. She's hemmed pants for me, all the way to creating full custom pieces. I had her alter a dress full of sequence. You couldn't even tell it had been touched when she was done. It looked fabulous! I own 2 dresses and a wool coat of Nathalie's and it isn't enough! Natalie is a fantastic designer and seamstress. She makes one of a kind custom clothing at reasonable prices for the quality. It will fit you better than anything you’ve ever bought! I had her make me two pencil skirts that were custom made to be good for biking to work. While much of her shop has African print dresses (and they are beautiful!) she will make anything - prom, homecoming, quinceanara dresses and custom jackets and suits and dress shirts, too. Pricing depends on difficulty and time spent as well as materials involved, so it’s not cheap - but it is very fair pricing for the quality. She will also do tailoring if you have existing pieces you need improved. Half the shop are sample dresses (she also sells sandals and costume jewelry - necklaces cost less than $10) and the other half is her workshop. She is open Tuesday - Saturday, so call ahead or just show up and prepare for a warm welcome!
