Seems usually very busy...Which would indicate something is going right ..until you get to the checkout .8, 10,12 or more people deep, with only 2 clerks ..and customer service has 3-5 people standing there . Perception matters . Further, with registers at customer service . When lines are long ..they let it be known, they don't want to check you out. Especially " you have more then 4 items sir"...so fucking what...work...not stand there when you see it's busy...derp de derp

This store, and Target in general, has gone downhill in the past several years. I realize the individual stores may not have a choice, but needing a worker to unlock a security case just so we can get deodorant is insane. This store is consistently understaffed, so good luck getting your deodorant and a bunch of other items. Selection of things is generally acceptable but stay out of the clothing department if you weigh more than 80 pounds. When I went there today to look at jeans, they didn't have anything even close to my size (but if you wear a size 00 in skinny jeans, you're golden). Oh and there's usually sketchy people hanging out outside. Don't give money to the people panhandling out front

I had such a horrible experience and this is the third time I've had a horrible experience at the Lakewood Towne center Target the manager Roz is completely has no compassion for human beings I will never shop at this target ever again I might not ever shop at Target again they are horrible. I wouldn't recommend Target in Lakewood to anybody not even my worst enemy that's how bad I was treated by the manager Roz at the Lakewood Towne center Target.

Don't bother trying to get through to customer service over the phone. On 2 separate occasions, I've called the store to speak to customer service either about an item missing from my order pickup, or asking about items being canceled from my order pickup. I'll call, press the button to transfer me to the guest services desk, and then the call immediately ends. I'll try to call back, and the same thing will happen. It's not my service because I was in different locations when this has happened. I've tried before pressing the button to a different department and then having them transfer me to guest services, but it often times still automatically hangs up. Maybe they need to check their phone lines to ensure customers can reach them.

I have always loved shopping at this Target location before, but recently I've been extremely disappointed. So many of the items in the store are locked behind glass (I get it...theft is a problem), but the problem is they don't have associates available to get the locked items for you when you "ring" the bell. I've waited for a good 10 minutes, and no one comes to get you what you need. I mean does $6.00 eye makeup remover need to be locked up? So I'm buying more on Amazon now so I'm not standing there like an idiot assuming I'll be helped. Another issue at this location is that they don't have any lanes open early in the morning. Fine, but then why aren't the 4 self check registers available? There has only been 2 functioning for the past month at least, the other 2 say "closed". So customers have no choice but to self check, and there's only 2 self check registers available? So plan to have to wait in line, even early in the morning. Lastly, the last two times I've shopped there I have parked over on the side parking lot (by the Chronic Tacos and the movie theater) as opposed to right in front. But be warned....your shopping cart will lock up before you get to your vehicle! So if you have heavier items like soda cases, etc., plan to have to carry them by hand to your vehicle. So why Target do you have cart returns there when your carts are programmed to lock up well before getting there? So frustrating, and as I said, I'll be buying more on Amazon to avoid the frustration of shopping here. It's sad because it used to be a great place to shop. Step it up Lakewood Target!

DON'T go to this location!! I've been at this location numerous times where the line is over 30 people. For the CHECKOUT. One person checking out. I guess it's the new trend to have people check their own groceries out regardless if they have 12+ items. There was an elderly lady that had to have her daughter grab a stool so she could sit down & rest. Terrible management. Do better!!

This Target location is great, right at the Lakewood Town Center with many other places to shop, so very convenient. The staff is very helpful. The cashier I had today is a nice and delightful to talk to. They have a really great selection of trendy clothes and shoes with reasonable prices. I love Target Drive Up service. It helps me get my essentials quickly and easily. Usually my orders are ready less than 2 hours. I would recommend that everyone use their app to search and locate items at the store.

The customer service here is horrible NOT A FRIENDLY LOCATION they allow customers to walk in .... Tell them they have some time to grab things and then Harrass you until you've left the premises the disrespectful security guard in front of the store was being nasty and rude because my girlfriend had a diabetic emergency and had to use the restroom I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone who deals with inconveniences of illness or anyone who want just general human respect we ended making a 70$ purchase here regardless of how evil they were being because we were already there sooo yeah basically find a different target they suck ! so does the management they know nothing about respect and customer service if your are closing don't let anyone in your store ? Not Harass people because you'd like to go home after already letting them in ? And the bathrooms had poop all over the stall #notcovidfreindly

Went to target the other day to pick up a few items one of them was a iTunes gift card after I had left the store I tried claiming it in the car of the parking lot of the store but it said the code wasn't valid. I went back inside to ask for either a refund or a replacement of the card most of the employees were ok but the manager by the name of dee was useless saying the card was successfully activated at the store and the receipt had said no returns. So the manager was completely useless. I just tried to rectify the situation but nothing was done. I've been going there for years but after this experience won't be buying any gift cards from them at all anymore my brother looked it up and found a bunch of articles that it was a scam so don't buy any gifts cards. What happened to a company standing by its customer? Worst service I have received at the store and won't b rushing back anytime soon.

*** SCAM ALERT ON GIFT CARDS*** DO NOT BUY ANY AT TARGET!! Been coming to Target for years and today had something interesting happen. My brother got a iTunes gift card and from the time he paid and left the store to trying to redeem it in the car it was already gone. He was a victim of Fraud, went to talk to Target and they were no help. So he spent the day on the phone with Apple and Target trying to get it resolved. Target is supposedly getting him a refund in 3 weeks! How could this happen you ask? Apparently it's pretty common and a quick Google search confirmed it, several articles on fraudulent gift cards at Target. I've attached one of many below

My family and I have watched this location go through so many changes. Sometimes I expect to smell buttery popcorn and see those Icee spinning around in the big machines. Does anyone have a tissue. Sorry but I miss my Cafe dear yelpers. Now I walk in and see a customer service center in the demised cafe. Customer service has spiraled up and down a bit since the pandemic and since the remodel of the store. I am not sure which made it worse. I have found that it is hard to find our beauty or household products we use at Target regularly here anymore. It appears that alot of items are gearing customers to shop online and pick up items at store. The shelves appear smaller in areas and I do not know if it is just me but I looked in the baby and children's areas, they appear smaller too. I checked out maternity stuff( no not expecting lol) just curious. The selection is not much either. I guess if we want more things, we have to go to website and use Target store to grab quick things or get medicine from pharamacy. Please by all means this is my opinion at this location. Our Target just look like a online pick up headquarters with a mini food mart. It is not a bad or good thing but it is just what you want. I feel like Target was our modern family store where we could eat popcorn and have Icee while shopping. I guess shopping online and drive up shopping wins at this location.

I've been shopping at Target for years, and only just recently I've noticed that the employees start shutting down the store, literally at 9:45 pm. At the lakewood store last night I got trapped in a section they had taped off so the floor guy could start waxing....... I don't get it, they have from 10 pm to 7am to strip and wax floors why would they start 15 minutes early and make it uncomfortable for shoppers? If you want to close at 9:45, just put on your grown up pants and make an announcement before you change the official hours. I don't need to be herded thru the store trying to get out the front doors.

Made a $40 beauty product purchase for a $10 gift card promotion didn't receive if from the cashier. Went to customer service said I will receive it online even though it's not an electronic gift card. Never did.
