Pharmacy assistants are very rude. I switched from RiteAid to Safeway Pharm because my first experience with the gentleman there was very nice. He was very nice and approachable. Second time was to pickup my son's prescription. Just so happened that I had to catch a flight that evening but my flight was canceled. I was on the phone with the airline customer service trying to rebook my flight when the pharmacy assistant called. I approached the counter intent on dropping the prescription for me to pick up or get it picked up later by my husband. Your employee had the nerve to demand I hang up the phone. It took me forever to get to the airline customer service for me to hang up. I even put it away out of her sight but, she wasn't satisfied. She was like, "I'm sorry but I'm not helping you unless you hang up the phone." Like wtf! I didn't hang up on the airline because I wanted to make sure I catch the earliest flight that night so, I left the store. I will never use your pharmacy again. Such a rude woman! Unfortunately I couldn't hang up the phone so I can ask her what's her problem.

Today I noticed an employee providing five star experience and hard work. His name was Andrew (w/Black and Orange Hair Incase you have more than one Andrew) as I went back in and asked the manager, Young kids these days don't always look like they will be hard workers but Andrew helped to bag my groceries and when I think he realized I was going to tip him he stepped away to help somebody else. When I caught up with him he was busy finding other work to do, gathering carts and organizing the front of the store. I attempted to hand him my tip and he said he could not take it, that it's not allowed. Which is unfortunate as I always think that hard work should be rewarded when able. Anyway he continued to go about his work, went outside in cold weather gathering carts and hurrying to get them in for customers coming. Usually you see kids these days unless they're directed to do something specific scrolling their phone but he seemed to find plenty of things to do and in just a few moments, he went from bagging groceries, to helping behind the customer service desk, to tidying the front area and carts and then went outside to gather more carts. He was already bringing them up to the front before I could drive away. Very impressed with this young man and his work ethic, he surely deserves recognition. Too expensive but the deli fried chicken I first tried was addicting. Now deli has gone down hill. Just wasted almost $10 on dry overcooked chicken what a waste. Chinese food is gross made me sick

Today I ordered online for a pick up order. I had my small kids with me so didn't want to go inside the store. 7pm was my pick up time. I was sent a text at 838pm my order was ready. I get there at 845pm call to let them know I'm outside. No answer..so I walk in to the only associate available to chat was at self check out, this short round lady was super rude! I say "excuse me" she doesn't even look up from scribbling on a napkin and says "yessss" like I was bothering her doing nothing. I tell her I'm there for pick up she smirks and goes "oh he already left" lucky for her the assistant manager walks up and says "I'll take care of your order," or she was gonna get a piece of information to help her in her career at Safeway! The assistant manager was nice about it, but I asked her why they would allow a service that wasn't available. She mumbled something about the pickers working overtime but she didn't know why it would do that. I'm never ordering pick up from here again. I don't expect an apology because systems have errors. I am really disappointed in Safeway for allowing this to happen as well as hiring people who do NOT know how to interact with the public!

WORST PHARMACY EVER!! I tried getting my latest covid-19 vaccine at Safeway pharmacy this evening and the lady there said that since I was locked into the Rite Aid pharmacy for prescriptions I can't get my vaccinations there at all but I got my 1st and 2nd covid-19 vaccine there and didn't have a problem with it. I don't understand. It doesn't make any sense it pisses me off. Why couldn't they have told me that before I confirmed the appt earlier this afternoon? It's crap is what it is.

Kayleigh and all the other female staff treat Black women worse than everybody else. Every single time they're rude and hardly helpful.Kayleigh didn't want to read the information I gave her, making the whole transaction take longer than it needed to be. More willing to talk over me than help; I wasn't even greeted like the white person behind me. It's enough to be followed around in the store, and now this? Despicable
