Got a pre-purchase inspection done on a used car here. Such a great decision! It cost me about 150 dollars and saved me thousands as the car had a lot of issues. So many issues the fix would have cost way more than the car. I spoke with Josh who went over what the inspection found and he was very thorough in explaining everything that was wrong and strongly recommended that I not buy the car. He was direct and to the point which I appreciated.
First time here but when I find a car without so many issues I’m sure I’ll be back here if I ever run into any problems!

Got my car back after a new clutch kit being installed and after my first drive at home noticed an absolutely awful rattling. Come to find out my throw out bearing needs replaced. I got charged over $1000 in labor after being quoted $750 for the clutch. (I supplied parts) Not going to be out another $1000 for the same process to be redone with transmission removal since it was off warranty due to my supplying the parts per the receipt.
Secondly got quoted $780 for new rotors, calipers, and brake pads on my rear. Upon doing them myself the calipers were in perfect working condition. I also had to remove my entire center console because they installed it over my driver seatbelt buckle so it was unusable. (Should’ve been caught during the test drive) Downsides of being a woman going to a shop.
Good news is all my fluids were topped off I guess lol and all my other engine work done prior to these fiascos is fine so far.

I took my Jeep in this morning for an oil change and I was very pleased with the service I received and with the quality of the work. I was also thankful for their willingness to answer some of my questions. Finding people you can trust is a precious thing these days. Thank you Ray's Auto!

I love aquariums. The person explaining about the octopus ? was great, even gave me a new book to read about an octopus. Otters were out and dining. And the beautiful views are breathtaking.

Been coming here for years, with multiple vehicles. Never had an issue, with anything!

I took a used car to Ray's for a pre-purchase inspection and I was very favorably impressed! They got me in within a day, and worked around my flaky scheduling without complaint. Steve, the mechanic who did the inspection, was obviously extremely competent, and turned around a very thorough inspection in about an hour and a half. Steve explained everything he found to me in non-mechanic terms and contextualized the results considering the age and mileage of the car. Seldom have I spend $150 so wisely. His evaluation allowed me to negotiate an equatable price from a position of strength. I strongly recommend Ray's Auto Center.

I am here to 100% recommend Ray’s for servicing your car. We had been using them for years while we lived in Lakewood until we moved overseas for a span of 6 years. They had always been friendly, honest, fair and thorough.
We don’t live in Lakewood anymore, so we ended up taking our car to the dealer for an oil change. After the dealer tried to tell us we needed over $3k in servicing plus possible repairs, we decided we needed to go back to Ray’s, even though we are no longer close by.
Just like before, we experienced the same professionalism and honesty as we had prior to moving over seas. They checked out the car thoroughly and gave us recommendations for mileage intervals. They found everything to be in great shape and no servicing necessary. Needless to say, Ray’s will continue to have ALL of our business from now on. Thank you soooo much!

Steve is Ray's son and the current owner of this family business. He's worked on three of our cars now. I am always pleased and thankful for his work. Most recently, we had our vehicles in for air conditioning work, and the cars can almost get too cold if that's possible. Great staff, an honest job, and decent prices.
