Mountain Moving was very responsive and helpful. We had to move a large, heavy gun safe out of our basement up challenging stairs. It was hard to find someone just to consider the job. Doug came over and figured out a way to do it with specialized equipment and very strong workers they have.
They were able to fit us into their busy schedule pretty quickly, so we could send the safe off to its next home. We really appreciated everything!

The Mountain Moving gentlemen who moved us couldn’t have been more courteous and skilled. Prompt, careful of all our belongings- including our piano-, and done in less time than the estimate- what’s not to love? Highly recommend!

Our office has been using this company for a little while now and Carl Taboada has been so helpful!! He is very self sufficient and works with us with all of our twists and turns. He is great and so is the company!

Had Jim, Greg, and Dave (I think I have those names right) move my apartment this morning and they were such a great crew. Very respectful of the space and they were such a pleasure to work with. The whole process was really easy. Thanks!

My nonprofit organization recently worked with Doug's moving crew to coordinate the move-out of our building and into storage while we right size to a better office. Doug was helpful in answering questions, following up on needed information, and responding to our concerns quickly and professionally. His team was flawless and fast on our moving day, finishing up the work early and under budget,. They also coordinated the efforts for the discarded items to the dump, eliminating extra hassles and time for our staff. We have also worked with Shannon in the business office to take of billing, and those interactions have been helpful, courteous and professionally managed as well. We are so grateful for the excellent work ethic and follow through from everyone at Mountain Moving & Storage, and we look forward to working with them again.

NEGATIVE STARS! This company will screw you last minute. Just last week we had the most horrible experience with this company. Weeks prior we had Doug out to do our bid. He seemed nice and price was good, so we booked. I believe it was $320 per hour for 4 guys, two trucks. Our closing date changed so I spoke with Doug on the phone to change the date. He confirmed with me the correct date of our new move.The day before our move I called to confirm everything and they didn't have us on the schedule at all. We were literally hours away from our move now with no movers. Doug had booked us for the incorrect week despite having confirmed with him verbally multiple times of our date. Ed in dispatch tried to help but they had no availability for us. This was truly a nightmare. So hours before a huge move I had to desperately call around other companies to see if anyone could help. Thankfully after many panicked calls I was able to find another company to help us.Never received a call from Doug to apologize or explain what happened.ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They will leave you desperate without one call of apology. Doug is a coward.Feel free to contact me for more info.

The scheduling part was fantastic but the actual movers themselves did quite a bit of damage and then tried to claim that it was prior to them picking it up. They were honest and saying that they've neglected to take pictures prior to moving things but either way I have a lot of damage equipment and dented tool boxes. I think a lot has changed since the previous owners sold out

Excellent move from beginning to end. I’ve worked professionally with Mountain for over 20 years and was always impressed with their low claims ratio. This was the first time I got to experience it personally. The crew was outstanding and the packing was superb. We didn’t have a single damaged item in our move. We are upper happy and impressed. If you want or need a flawless move, please do not hesitate to contact Mountain to have the job done right.

My daughter scheduled her household goods to be moved a month in advance. There was no communication with follow ups nor updates about her move. The day before her moving date, they changed the dates and NEVER showed up! Due to this unprofessionalism, my daughter still had to move w/o her household goods! Do not WASTE YOUR TIME or money w/ Mountain Moving & Storage! Very unprofessional business!

Our crew of 4 moved my Dad from University Place to Lakewood and were terrific! Very personable guys and work quickly and carefully. I definitely recommend them!
