I come here for the veterans art program and plan to come back with the family. There is art and flowers and walking paths. It's peaceful and low-key. It's great for families to bring their kids to look at art and nature without feeling like their kids are "in the way". It's wonderful.

What a stunningly beautiful place to be! I've lived in Lakewood a long time and had no idea about this place until recently. It's spectacular! The grounds are exquisitely kept, there's trees and flowers to feast your eyes on for hours, and some really awesome hedges that look right out of a movie or fancy magazine. Any nature enthusiast would be happy here.

Tidy, well maintained garden. Nice and green and summer, but I bet it's spectacular in spring with everything in bloom!A tranquil oasis until someone's child had a meltdown and started screaming. They made no move to get the child out.Restrooms: Available in two locationsPicnic area: A couple designated picnic areas.

Absolutely serene. There's something there for all walks. The building and architecture work inside is absolutely stunning. The grounds are as well. It's totally worth letting go of a few bucks to just walk on the mossy trail barefoot. The staff are amazing, happy, friendly people. There are restroom facilities there next to the gabizo. See photos.Restrooms: They are available

Activities- big bubbles, picnics, dancing, and music all set in a verdant setting. The lake was beautiful and the paths shaded. Looking forward to returning.

Brought my wife here on a date and I have to say it was pretty awesome. Staff were very friendly, and the gardens were very relaxing. Had a wonderful time and we'll definitely be going again. Not sure if it says on Google maps but you do have to pay to visit.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE. If I could rate this zero stars, I would. I am a wedding florist, I have worked at a lot of venues, never have I refused to work at a venue because of the way I was treated until Lakewold Gardens. The venue coordinator, Patty, is the most grumpy, unhappy, rude, controlling and discourteous human I have ever met. At one point, the wedding coordinator was concerned that guests could hear patty screaming during the ceremony. It was almost as if she was trying to sabotage the day. Every vendor, a lot of guests, and the couple had a negative experience with Patty. While the venue is gorgeous, the venue coordinator is a monster. Patty single-handedly tried to ruin the experience of a lifetime for the couple who's wedding it was which is extremely unfortunate. I hope this venue takes a look at the "venue coordinator" position and realizes how important it is to hire someone with a positive and accommodating personality. I will never work here again or suggest it as a venue to anyone I know. The couple submitted a long letter to the board of directors and unfortunately no action was taken.

The Gardens are less than a ten minute walk from our home. It is always a beautiful place to walk or sit in any season. It is one of the places we take out of town visitors and always enjoy the tranquility, beauty and diversity.

I decided to check out this garden and utilize a free pass from my local library so I didn't pay an admission fee on this particular visit. Easy to find and a lot of parking spaces. The lady working was really nice and gave me a brief run down of what to expect. Me and my 4 year old enjoyed our stroll through the garden and checking out everything there. It was very quiet and peaceful even though others were there as well. It's truly beautiful here.

This is a great outdoor space to spend time slowing down and enjoying nature during any part of the year. I especially enjoyed tonight's solstice lights which gave the gardens an almost magical glow as the lights synchronized with sound. The rain added a bit of dazzle to it all as the lights danced off the falling raindrops.

We came here for the All Hallows' Eve festivities and it's a really fun way to get into the Halloween spirit. There were activities catered to kids and families. The staff did a great job with providing popcorn and hot chocolate. Everyone was decked out in costumes which added to the ambiance. The whole place was decorated and in full Halloween spirit! This was a great way to support local gardens too.
