Dan the diesel man! If you need a 6.4 rebuilt right in the PACNORWEST he's the guy. Unfortunately correct 6.4 rebuilds are not cheap but if you want a bullet proof 6.4 go see him.

These guys were amazing! The entire process was smooth from start to finish. Turn around time was super quick, too! Friendly and honest shop!

If you like friendly informed services, this isn’t the place.
We made an appointment two weeks ago. Showed up for our appointment exactly on time. There’s no front entrance, so we weren’t even sure we were in the right place to begin with. We drive around and can’t find anything. We eventually knock on some back door. Call the number we called to make the appointment 2x without an answer.
We knock on the door again, some guy comes out and asks for the keys and says they’ll get back with us when it’s done. They didn’t ask or talk to us about what the problem was. We asked for the man we spoke to on the phone a few weeks ago. The guy says he’ll call him but that he doesn’t usually get in until 9-9:30, when our appointment was at 8.
The man disappears back into the shop for 10 minutes while we wait outside. He finally comes back out and says he’s on his way and will be there in 15 minutes. During this time I look at the reviews on this shop. At this point I’m starting to feel uncomfortable with the entire situation. We wait 30 min (8:45, 45 minutes after our appointment) and then finally leave because the whole thing seems sketchy.
If you’re okay leaving your expensive diesel truck with people who don’t go over what they’re going to be doing or even ask what the issue with the truck is, this is the place for you. Just look at the shops response to previous negative reviews and it’ll tell you all you need to know.

I brought my truck here because it had a sticker on back window from here when I bought it. I had called and they said they had done previous work to it so seemed to make sense. I drive the truck a little but it's not my daily and I don't put a lot of miles on it. I brought the truck here for about 2 years after I first bought it and more than once had to drop it back off directly after picking it up, infact, one time I turned around after just pulling out of their driveway and could feel it was wrong when they replaced some injectors and they then confirmed while I was waiting it wasn't right. Then called me the next day to say I need to replace my injector harness. On a different occasion, my truck didn't start when it was hot outside or I had driven it for a while and the engine was at operating temp, they said it was the hpop. $2200 or so dollars later I picked it up and drive from Fife to Redmond to pick up a shed, stopped at a Starbucks and come out to it not starting.... so I bring it back and they said it was a defective hpop but the Ford dealership is paying to replace it.... I pick it up again and no issue as it's winter and I don't drive it much... we'll guess what, it's warm out her in Washington and having the same problem.
I probably should give them a 1 star but they did infact fox somethings sometimes that I didn't have to go back for.
I normally give a shop the opportunity to make things right and not blast them on the internet but I have given this shop many 2nd chances because free is better than paying another shop but I have zero confidence in their work anymore after multiple issues and having to being my truck back.
Sorry to everyone for the novel

I was driving my wife's new Tesla into my trusty old diesel shop, expecting the regular ol' oil change routine. But let me tell ya, these people looked at me like I'd rode in on a unicycle wearing a tutu! This head honcho mechanic, Tyler, with his high-and-mighty attitude, tells me, "Sir, electric vehicles don't need oil changes." I swear, I almost fell out of my chair! A car without oil is like a dog without bones! Everyone knows cars need oil!The look he gave my Tesla was as if it was some kind of alien pod. He was sizing it up, all superior-like, as if he was too good to even touch my futuristic motor. He insisted they were a diesel shop and didn't deal with these electric 'vehicles'.And here I was, thinking, it's just a car, right? But no, he wouldn't hear it! Kept going on about their 'diesel specialty,' like it was some fancy wine and not grimy old car juice. It was like trying to explain the internet to a cave man, a really stubborn, diesel-scented caveman. So, all you proud electric car folks, steer clear of this relic! They're clinging onto the past like barnacles on a boat hull, probably still pining for the good ol' Trump days. One lousy star for their die-hard diesel devotion, but a big fat zero for their refusal to embrace change. At least we've got the likes of Biden and Inslee championing our electric revolution. Seems like this shop needs a heavy jolt to move into the future. Good luck with that, fellas!

My 2000 7.3 ford was having cold start issues so I brought it in and they not only fixed it but also handled some other issues for me quickly and at a great price. The owner Dan is just a straight forward guy.

Unless you want them to charge you more than what they quote you then don’t go here. We took our truck here to get new glow plugs for our 2004 Ford F-250 back in October 2021. They gave us an estimate of around 600 dollars and said it would take the day. When we came to pick up the truck the shop had closed early so we had to walk to a hotel in the rain with our baby. When we came back the next day they said it wasn’t done and we had to wait longer. When we came back they gave us the bill for $1,244 and told us they fixed a coolant leak. They didn’t call to inform us that this was a problem and ask us if we wanted them to fix it and after we got the truck back it was still leaking coolant. We had to replace a hose.

I typically post a lot of light-hearted reviews for places that I appreciate. Because of how much I appreciate the service here, and the terrible re-occurring problem that they resolved, I want to leave an honest serious review for others at the end of their rope with a vehicle. The short of it is this: Dan fixed a problem with my truck I'd had for over a year, and started by doing it with a part I brought in while making sure my way was correct, and ended with my truck running better than ever.I want to clarify two things. I took my truck to two other locations for repair for the same problem before bringing it here. Neither fixed it. Secondly, the problem has not come back for the last 2 months, so I can speak honestly that their solution came from the right work. After nearly a year of trying to research solutions, and working with other mechanics, I was pretty gun-shy to even hope I would get this problem fixed. It was just there and wouldn't go away with multiple fixes attempted. I even brought in just a part that I thought sure would solve the problem and told Dan to only install it and not do anything more. He humored me, and did so but not before taking the time to confirm my unskilled diagnosis first to make sure I wasn't wasting time and money. He did so without charging for it, and confirmed that the part I wanted replaced was bad. The work was solid, and you could tell the next time we fired up the truck.A similar problem came back though, and related to the part we changed. On a truck with 180k miles, things tend to wear out together. At first I had the same thought that there was just no fixing this truck. Dan assured me that it might seem like the same problem, but it wasn't and that he would make sure that no extra work was done that wasn't needed, and that it would absolutely run smooth again. So, after replacing my truck's high pressure injector pump, Dan also replaced a position sensor in the engine. This was the right diagnosis, and my truck has run right as rain since then. After having this problem so long, I have to detail just how grateful I am that Diesel Services Northwest fixed it. Not only fixed right the first time with each part, but the work was done quickly and when we agreed it would be done. I don't need to tell anyone how valuable an honest and dependable mechanic is, but I will 100% give my glowing recommendation to this shop. It is well earned.
