It bums me out to have to write this review. My child is 11 now and we have been seeing Doctor Coe since she was 3 months old. Dr. Coe is the ONLY reason I have allowed us to keep going there. She is absolutely wonderful. She is the only reason there are ANY stars at all. Since they were bought out by SeaMar, this place has literally gone down the drain. All the cleanliness, the doctors etc is non existent. Most of the great doctors have retired/quit, minus 2-3 of them. They replaced all the awesome receptionists with impatient and somewhat incompetent people. The wait times are insanity as well. Dr. Coe: if you ever choose to open a private practice for yourself or go somewhere else, we will happily move to where you are! Until then, I will have to pull her out and take her somewhere better.

I like this clinic staff here are very friendly. They do a really great job, they are so nice and fast. They don't make you wait for a long time like the other clinics does. Doctor Kate is a really great Doctor.

My doct was Dr.Tan he was very good doctor for my kids . But he went retired and I switched the clinic.

There are NO WORDS to describe how bad the front desk Staff are at this alleged Pediatric care without having the urge to want to curse and I'm the Grandmother!! My daughter called to make an appointment for my granddaughter this morning to see her doctor. The receptionist immediately informs my daughter there are no appointments available with her doctor until May WITHOUT even asking what my granddaughter's medical issue is, who by the way has a Concussion from being assaulted. There are protocols that have to be followed when a person is assaulted, especially if a police report has to be filed. The receptionist huffs and informs my daughter that she could take my daughter to Urgent Care, this was how Lazy she was to look to see if another appointment was available with another doctor. My daughter had to insist with the receptionist to look for another available doctor. It's truly sad that a parent has to insist for a receptionist to do their job, and have the nerve to huff at you because you're looking out for the welfare of your child!!! There are numerous complaints about the Front Desk Staff, and there are has been no improvement or change from when I filed a complaint Last Year, and this place of business could care less. While the parents have to suffer from dealing with incompetent front desk staff because they're just there to collect a paycheck and maybe just maybe put in an effort to do their job! Oh, and let's not forget the Huff to go along with doing so called job.

Since Lakewood Pediactrics became part of Sea Mar CHC it became one of those clinics that are just a nightmare. My children have been patients here since 2010 and we were always able to get same day appointments for urgent care, front desk always answered right away and we never had to wait more than one hour at the exam room. That exceptional service is gone since Sea Mar CHC bought the clinic. I also never had to call the billing department to have them bill the correct insurance, my kids have dual insurance and I get bills because they didn’t bill the correct insurance. I used to be a Sea Mar CHC employee and I understand their politics and dynamics, but making this clinic like the other ones was a big mistake. Only reason I dont give one star is because Dr. Montano is one of the best Pediatricians and she is the only reason why we have stayed.

My daughter has medication she depends on daily. I had to schedule an appointment a month out due to availability. I stressed at the time that she would be without medication until then and asked to have the medication at least faxed in until the appointment. they told me they could not fax in and I had to wait to be seen in person. I was forced to buy over the medication alternatives that hardly work as well and watch my daughter manage through the change unsuccessfully this last month. Today was her appointment finally and an hour before the scheduled time I received a call saying they are double booked and need to reschedule again. They still refused to fax in her medication and told there’s nothing they can do. They were completely rude and unprofessional.

Insurance pays for circumcisions and Sea Mar states no one does. Don't let the staff make you pay in cash.The doctors are good, the staff is ok.

5 stars for how it was before SeaMar took it over. Due to my downgraded review it is averaged to 3 stars now. I use to be able to talk to someone right away. Now I always have to wait 5-10 minutes. I'm being put through all sorts of big company policies that didn't use to exist when it was a stand-alone clinic. I miss the old Lakewood Pediatrics. It also doesn't help that our pediatrician just retired. The kids loved him. Now they're trying to adjust to a new doctor. That's just a tip of it. If it weren't for a parenting plan that needed them to stay there I'd move them in an instant.

My daughter and I have been trying for three days to make an appointment for my granddaughter who has asthma. She is miserable!!! We've been to all the emergency rooms who are all full due to COVID with waiting time of over 10 hours or more. The staff at Sea Mar are the worst we have EVER dealt with. They're rude, have a could care less attitude, there's no talking to or listening from any of the staff. This USED to be one of the best pediatric care places you could go to, but now they are just one SAD waste of time.

This place used to be so much better. When seamar took over it fell apart.. even the doctor complains that the front staff is jacked up. To call them takes 10 minutes of instructions because EVERYTHING is repeated in Spanish. If you have a question about a medication..copay. they can't get you in die to covid copay phone consult. How is a phone consult a physical exam?We LOVE Dr. COE, but the staff?

COVID Vaccine: Don't go to this SeaMar location, unless you can go back at the EXACT same time in 3 weeks. They will make NO EXCEPTION regardless your reason (for example being a front line worker or teacher) and said to me "we can't push your time back at all so you unfortunately won't get your second shot if you can't come to your assigned time" (that I did not pick or was asked about before). They claim that this is how it needs to be done hiding behind "state orders" but other SeaMar locations and vaccine sites are giving people windows of when they can come back for the 2nd vaccine. Absolutely ridiculous, highly DON'T RECOMMEND.
