“Went for my birthday, and we had an amazing time! Everyone was super friendly. Our instructor Logan was very knowledgeable and did a great job breaking everything down and explaining the process of glassblowing. It was a great experience, and we'll definitely be coming back!”

“I brought in my 1908 Gibralter Gingerbread clock to get it working again. The owner did an exceptional job at fixing it and even printed out a document explaining the history of the clock and where it was made. It even came with a warranty and when it stopped working (close to a year later) I brought it in and he was good on his word and fixed it for me. I highly recommend him to fix your antique clock.”

“My daughter recently had her birthday party at tinkertopia and it was phenomenal. The people were incredibly accommodating and very kind. They spend a great deal of time explaining things to me before we booked the party and at the party were more than willing to lend a creative hand to help the kids come up with something to make. The space is perfect for about 8 to 10 kids but a bit on the cramp side if parents came. We used the pizza joint down the road to do the cake and food The guy there was also sweet as could be. 10 out of 10 would recommend”

“I brought in a linocut image which I received as a gift. I was looking for a professional framing for this piece which has a deep personal value to me. And I got exactly what I'd hoped for: professional consultation with recommendations tailored to my preferences. And I am very pleased with the matting and the frame. Really nice work. And the shop is also a great venue which supports and sells work by local artists. It's a nice little museum too.”
“This was one of the best small galleries I have even been into. The team working was very friendly (and they both had their own art for sale). The music inside was fun and set at a great level. What amazed me most was how many great pieces there were and in so many different styles! There is something for everyone here. I don't buy at most galleries I go to, but we all bought something here. Paintings... sculptures... they have it all. A wide variety of sizes, and all priced very reasonably! “I love my time in the studio. Great owners, great fellow potters! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I've been coming here for classes for 7+ months now and it's my favorite past time, for sure. This studio literally has everything you could possibly want and need to make your pieces. Mark is a great teacher. It's also fun to watch him on the wheel-he is amazingly talented. Another thing I really appreciate about Mark is if you aren't getting the right technique or skill one way (ME), he will do his damnest to find a way to teach you in a way that makes sense for the student. Whether you want to learn the wheel or hand building, I highly recommend this wonderful shop in old Town Tacoma. There is plenty of parking and I always feel safe in the area. The studio is kept clean and orderly which I really appreciate. So many pluses to this studio! Don't hesitate, just come try it out, I am sure you won't regret it. Thank you, Mark and Eileen for continuing to make this a special place to come and create!”

“My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and had a wonderful time! we were able to make four pieces of varying size and everything was priced well and came out great! I came back today and had so much fun picking out more stuff to paint as a date to take myself on! love making things for the house or cute little figurine. great selection of pieces and the best part is that there's no sitting fee or glaze fee. everything is worked into their price and they are all still well priced! I love it here, I love how friendly and helpful Cheryl and her husband are. I recommend this place to EVERYONE!”
