Terrible Customer Service and Overpriced!I recently had a horrendous experience with Valvoline Instant Oil Change that I feel compelled to share. I called their service center seeking information about their oil change prices and was met with the most unhelpful and rude attitude imaginable.The representative on the phone seemed disinterested in answering my questions and was outright impolite. It's baffling how a company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction can employ individuals who clearly have no regard for basic courtesy.On top of the appalling customer service, I was shocked to learn that Valvoline Instant Oil Change charges exorbitant prices for their services. I compared their rates with other reputable establishments and discovered that they were by far the most expensive option in the area.Frustrated with their unhelpful attitude and inflated prices, I decided to explore other options. Surprisingly, I found a much better deal at my local dealer, who not only provided a more reasonable price for the oil change but also included a tire rotation at no extra cost.In conclusion, I strongly advise against using Valvoline Instant Oil Change for your automotive needs. Their lack of customer service etiquette and sky-high prices make them an undesirable choice. Save yourself the frustration and explore other options that value your time and money.

This is my first review ever to write inspired by these guys here in Lake Stevens. This was the BEST oil change experience I’ve ever had. Not only did the guys check EVERYTHING but we’re extremely professional, respectful, courteous, thorough, and had a sense of humor. This is definitely a fun experience and I would recommend to anyone I know to change their oil here!Thank you so much gentlemen! ??

This was the best oil change experience I’ve ever had. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent customer service. Didn’t try to gouge me for unneeded services. Took great care with my temperamental machine and all the extra stuff under the hood. Truly transparent service and at a reasonable price point. Highly recommend!

My first time here. I’m leaving 3 stars because I’m torn, Kiera was absolutely amazing she made me feel welcomed, she was so trustworthy and her customer service was spot on! On the other hand half way through the service Eric stepped in and started mansplaining things to me as if I was a 5 year old and I had no idea how a car worked, something he didn’t do to the two gentleman being service next to me. I was so annoyed by him, trying to upsell me services my car didn’t need. I wanted to be out of there as soon as possible he asked me if I wanted to make a donation to a charity, and I said no because of the service I had received so far from him, and he proceeded to shame me out loud in front of other customers and employees. I will return as long as he does not help me, everyone else was amazing!

Terrible service. Came in with no engine light and drove away with both engine light and tire pressure light on. When asked about it they DENIED it was them. Asked us to go to go to O’Reillys to diagnose it. The lady at the front asked if we need our filter change and we asked her if we needed it changed, she said in her opinion yes, but they had to run to O’reillys to get the filter. WONT GO HERE again!

I called them about 30 mins before closing on a Sunday to see how busy they were and the guy said come on down. The check engine light in my car had just come on as well so Garret was nice enough to check the code for me. I have to say this is the first place I've been in a long time where I wasn't treated like a dumb girl. Kelly and Garrett we're both so sweet and helpful. I will definitely be going back in the future and have already recommend this place to a few people. Thank you all!!

I bought a Groupon to try out Valvoline services. This was the highest rated center in my area (though not quite close by) that accepted it and apparently is a corporate run location. My car only needs a synthetic oil change once a year (or 10K miles) so I am picky on where I get the services and I got tired of going to the dealership.I could see why this location is highly rated. They were professional and thorough. I got there when it was empty (temporarily) so had 5 people working on my car for a bit. It's interesting what I noticed aside from the service and it told me a lot about the place -1. They actually showed me the dipstick after the oil change to confirm that it was clean. I don't think I have ever seen that in 30 yrs of getting oil changes on various cars. The manager (Eric?) also checked that all my lights were working, never seen that before either.2. My car has some rather different display reset features for maintenance. The manager actually brought the entire group together and demonstrated how to do it for them, they were a diverse group too. I love to see people teaching less experienced staff so that they learn. At another oil change place, the staff had to use YouTube to figure out how to reset the oil maintenance light.Well done! I'll be back for future oil changes and maintenance.

I have been here several times and they are now my go to place. Always explain everything, give you options without upselling and are very professional and helpful. They make getting your vehicle serviced something to look forward to.

Just finished getting my oil changed it was my first visit and I'll say it's a little different from other shops you stay in your car during the whole time. But Eric the manager is right outside the driver side window and you get to go through lite checks, head lights, high beams and turn indicators and brake lights. They are detail oriented checking tire pressure, batteries health, they checked belts condition also. The only thing they recommend changing was my windshield wipers, I decided to change them myself I did decide to have them replace my car's air filter. Next I choose the synthetic blend of oil at this time they asked me to take my keys out of the ignition, safety first, Carlos was the crew member who was working with Caleb who seems to be a more senior crew member. Also new to me was they evacuate the old oil through the valve cover, Eric explained that saves wear and tear on the oil pan. After they were through adding the new oil they had me restart my car and let it idle to circulate the new oil then they had me stop the engine keys out again on the dash so both of them could verify the safe condition of the car. Carlos checked the oil level and showed me the dip stick to let me see the level and the new clean oil nice touch. Now I had received a coupon in the mail for 25 dollars off for the synthetic blend oil that I went with. Since it was my first visit Eric need to get my information into his offices which is pretty straightforward should make things quicker next time because I am going to start using this business in the future. Over all a top notch business the employees are polite and professional a very good job. When you need to have your vehicle serviced you should give them a try.

Best place ever! Long story short, I was scared to go anywhere else, after a place stripped my oil cap and it costed thousands, but they ended up having to pay.When I first went to this place, I was weary, but they made me feel immediately comfortable, and just all around great. And they are QUICK! They don’t mess around like other places, and call out after they have finished what they’ve done.Yesterday I went in, was not having a good day and I wish I remembered the gentleman’s name that helped me. I want to thank you for everything and let you know, you were spot on with the issue!You guys won’t find better people helping you, and your car is in great hands. Thank you for all your hard work! you have quite a few new customers :)

Probably not always has a nice people to get you in, get you out, you don't even have to get out of your car, they got a small talk for you. Ask insulation to let you know what goes on typically goes wrong on your car so you can get a fix ahead of time. That's good, that's good business.
