TLDR ; Spend your money elsewhere! My husband and I decided to support local for our wedding day. We decided to rent kegs from Norm's. We went in a week before, paid in full for our two full kegs and let them know someone else would be pick them up on the day of the wedding. Fast forward to one week later to our wedding day, the kegs are picked up and brought to La Connor for our reception. Not only was one of the kegs the wrong size and the wrong beer, both taps were broken. We called them and they basically said sorry we cannot help you. So we had to send someone to buy new taps on the day of our wedding. Then when speaking to the people that picked up our kegs they let us know they were charged $150 deposit fee which we had already paid the week before? We spoke to someone and all they could say was that they were sorry and that there should've been a receipt shown at time of pickup but also that they reserved the wrong keg for us! Imagine blaming your customer for your mistake. They didn't offer anything to remedy the situation other than a refund of what they OWED us and the apology was less than sincere. You'd think we'd get the refund and that would be it? NOPE. We go in store, they give us the refund and we leave. They say it'll take up to two weeks for the money to be back in our account. We wait an entire month, the money never shows back up in our account. We called and were told that we had to speak with their book keeper who was only in until 11am everyday. I left MULTIPLE messages for her because she was always gone by 10am every time I called. Not once did I get a call back. We ended up filing a dispute with our credit card company after all this and just finally got our money back this month. Imagine this kind of experience with a small business on your wedding day!!!!! Truly horrible customer service and wouldn't spend another dime here if they were the last gas station in the county.

They have been GREAT at getting my Alaskan Husky IPA. They always call when they get my beer. Norm's will wait for me to get up to LaConner as it is not easy sometimes. They always have it waiting in the cooler. They always can get your brand. They even bring it out to the car. Nice people work at Norm's. RC

Oodles of kinds of beer on tap and from the walls of beer coolers! They have MANY choices of ciders as well. The staff is ready to answer questions or point you in the right direction of what you're looking for. You can even ask a staff member to help you pick out a beer, cider or wine; many times they've either tried the beverages or have knowledge of what regular customers have tried and experienced with taste, body, etc. They also have non-alcoholic beers available for your pleasure. Norms also has a large selection of cigarettes a day smokeless tobacco. They also have a small deli of various kinds of fried foods available at reasonable prices and some regular sandwiches stocked in a small fridge as well as two kinds of frozen drink slushees. Besides selling regular sodas, they also have a cooler of vintage and regional sodas. Norms also has Shell station gas pumps and a large propane tank to fill your small propane tanks or rv propane tank. Norms is a safe place as far as convenience stores go because the town and state police like to fuel up here so there could be officers there at anytime day or night. There is a small bathroom located in a separate building by the fuel pumps, just ask for the key and return it promptly. Norms is a good place to visit on your way camping, fishing or to a party for beverages and ice (in a stocked freezer out front) to fill up your coolers. It has a nice coffee shop across a side street (Lundeen Expresso) that has good coffee and a drive thru. Norms is located across the street from Lundeen Park which is on the Lake with a beach, but DON'T park at Norms to go to the beach or you will be towed. Very friendly place owned by a family who do many projects for those in true need such as cutting and delivering wood to Lake Stevens property owners who's fireplace is their only heat source and are too infirm to cut their own wood. DEFINITELY worth a visit to Norms.

Guy at front desk was an a**hole. Super rude and didn't want to tell me where the bathroom was when I asked for key. Obviously doesn't like his job.

Drinks are a little expensive. Don't expect to buy a drink of anything for under 2.50

Ahoy, beer enthusiasts and social butterflies! Let me tell you about my recent adventure at Norm's Market, the land of hoppy dreams and camaraderie!First off, let's talk about the beer selection. If a unicorn were to open a beer emporium, it would probably look like Norm's Market. The array of brews they have is more diverse than a chameleon at a costume party. From pale ales that practically wink at you to stouts darker than the abyss of my closet, they've got it all. And don't even get me started on the seasonal specials—trying them all is a life goal, right? But let's not forget the pièce de résistance—the friendly folks that run the place. These human hop experts are like the Yodas of the beer realm. They welcome you with open arms, as if you're their long-lost beer-loving cousin. Need a recommendation? They're on it like hops on barley. Curious about a new brand? They'll give you a backstory that would make a soap opera jealous. Seriously, I half-expected them to burst into song and dance, but I guess they save that for special occasions. So there I was, surrounded by bottles and cans that could probably give Shakespeare a run for his money in the creativity department. I sipped, I laughed, I even got into a heated debate about the best glassware for IPA. The experience was so delightful that I half-considered moving in and setting up camp near the IPA section. Just think of the stories I could tell to the passing beer pilgrims! In conclusion, Norm's Market isn't just a store—it's a beer sanctuary where frothy dreams come true and where strangers become hoppy friends. If you're a beer lover who craves both variety and the warm embrace of fellow enthusiasts, this place is your Shangri-La. Just be warned, you might end up spending more time here than at your own home. But hey, who needs a couch when you've got a barstool and a pint of liquid gold, right? Cheers to Norm's Market! ?
