I am so thankful for Whizz Kids LFP. My daughter loves it there, and is happy to go every single morning. She talks about her friends there all the time, including the wonderful teachers she has. I trust the staff implicitly. I also appreciate that Whizz Kids does it's best to retain quality staff in a really challenging environment - even if that means I have to pick up my daughter early once a month so the staff can focus on professional development, or I have to pay a bit more so they can attempt to provide a living wage. I LOVE that the teachers are documenting my daughter's growth and progress in the app so I can see, and that there are twice-yearly conferences to discuss her progress and challenges. All in all, I feel very lucky to have found a place where I feel really good about leaving my daughter everyday so I can go to work.

Our family has had such a wonderful experience at Whizz Kids! The family communication is fantastic and I love the focus on outdoor play, social emotional skills, and our daughter loves going to school each day. We are SO grateful to be a part of the Whizz Kids community and would highly recommend it to anyone!

We are beyond grateful for the skilled, caring, and individualized care that Whizz Kids provides. We feel SO lucky to have found them. Destiny is such a responsive and caring director. Every single teacher has been so experienced and knowledgeable as well as open to parent feedback. It truly feels like a collaborative and community oriented place, even amidst the pandemic. They know how to make kids feel safe and respected, no matter their differences, and that is GOLD. I wish that the child-lead, experiential and exploration based curriculum could be was prevalent in elementary too. So thankful!

Whizz Kids LFP is family. When looking for a place to take care of our kids during the day, our primary concern was finding somewhere we didn’t have to worry about them. Whizz Kids is that place. The staff is fantastic, loving, and really cares about the kids. Even our daughter who’s now in Kindergarten stops back by when we pick up her little brother, and the whole staff is thrilled to see her again and makes her feel like a celebrity. We’ll be sad to leave when the kids grow up.

The Whizz Kids Academy is a very special place that our family will always hold dear to our hearts. We came to Whizz Kids after our young son had a truly awful experience at Northlake Montessori in Bothell. The staff welcomed us and they were very caring for our child who had just been traumatized. The staff enthusiastically gave him the loving, and nurturing care that he deserved and this helped him heal and grow. Our son thrived in this positive environment and was soo empowered by his experience that he decided to pursue early on his career as a professional cyclist. By the age of 9 he successfully cycled across the entire United States; and was interviewed by several national celebrities along the way. youtube.com/watch?v=wyQs… Our son's future looks very bright now and we acknowledge the help he received from Whizz Kids as being pivotal to helping him grow into the person he wanted to be. It's difficult to put to words how enormous of a difference the staff at Whizz Kids made in the life of our child. I only hope we can repay this gift someday.........

We had our child at this daycare and then preschool for a few years and we were regularly disappointed with it. We ended up putting our child into another program that was so much better in every way. The following is my opinion based on our experience there.Out observations every single time were that the teachers do not engage with the kids. They stand around and are detached, talking to one another about their weekend while a child is screaming and crying a few feet away. Our small child even told us the teachers don't play with them. It was very apparent the teachers didn't know our kid well based on what they would tell me. They were clearly not well trained. We had an expert early childcare professional come observe a few times. She told us that the Reggio Emilia approach the school supposedly followed was not followed at all. Under the Reggio Emilia approach, the teachers are to observe the children and come up with activities that suit their interests based on the observations. This is laughable considering that was never done, at all. The teachers just stood around while the kids ran around all day, playing with the same toys and doing the same activities. The teachers didn't change the toys or activities around much at all like they should to keep kids engaged and actually learning. There were also numerous changes during my child's years there and very, very poor, if not total lack of, communication to parents. Teachers leaving regularly, children moving classrooms. No consistency, which was very difficult to keep up with and not ideal for a small child. There are many more disappointments too great to cover in this review. Overall we were very unhappy there and are so grateful to have found a real daycare and preschool that actually practices what they preach, and for far less in cost.

We’ve sent our two kids here and feel so fortunate to have found them. Our kids are happy to go, are so well cared for, and have learned so much and formed great relationships.

I am so disappointed with this place. We had a wonderful experience with the 1 and 2 year old room but when we moved to the 3 year old room, we and other families had a terrible transition experience. The communication from teachers and directors is seriously lacking. My son has risk of seizure and his 3 year old teacher was never informed. The director then blamed us for not telling the teacher instead of taking responsibility. His medication forms were also expired and we weren’t notified, so his teacher wasn’t able to give him the medication he needed to avoid seizure. I emailed the director and she never responded or reached out, only put a seizure plan document in our box but didn’t explain what it was. I had to schedule a meeting. Fast forward to Covid-19, we pulled him from care because of continued lack of communication. I would go weeks without questions being answered and other families experienced the same. I LOVED this place when he had his 1 year old and 2 year old teachers, but it went so quickly downhill from there.

My grandson is two years old and is in the toddler room. He loves it! We tried a different center that he never adjusted to and after 3 weeks my daughter and I agreed something was not right. At Whizz Kids the teachers know how to help with the separation anxiety and make a little one trust he'll be cared for throughout the day.It appears to us that he is given so many opportunities for fun and learning. Even the toddlers have cooking projects, science, plenty of outdoor fun both in covered and uncovered areas, and are taught to clean up after themselves-all in a positive, loving way.I am a former Montessori preschool teacher myself and I know that Whizz Kids provides quality care and education. Thank you for the great job you do. We're truly grateful to have found you.

Just wanted to send a quick note about how truly thankful my husband and I are for care at Whizz Kids. Both he and I have noted that the interactions between the staff and the children are done with purposeful care and of the highest quality. You can definitely tell that teachers are thinking about how to talk to the children to best promote their development.Jacqui and Bethany in the Waddler room have been so kind and caring to our son. They clearly know him very well and try to focus on the strengths of his personality, rather than the frustrations. Teachers always have a smiling face for breakfast and our son is always excited to see them each morning. It did not surprise me that after one week away from Whizz Kids during Christmas, he was already asking for "daycare" using his home sign.I have enjoyed returning back to work because I know that my son is well cared for. We are just so thankful for our Whizz Kids family!!

I absolutely love this place and I can not ever say enough about how wonderful the teachers and staff have been for my daughter. She has been here before a year old and is now going on 4 and I would not dream of putting her anywhere else. The director and her teachers have done so much for our family and have helped us through some hard times with understanding and care. For those saying negative things about schedules or sickness, the schedule is designed so that the kids have circle time around 9 which really helps set the tone for the rest of the day and as far as the kids getting sick thing, well it's a daycare full of young children, that happens no matter where you go so ya. I have never ever known this place to be dirty, if anything they seem to be constantly cleaning and disinfecting the surfaces and toys. And the child to teacher ratios are mandated by the state and are appropriate according to those guidelines, I would know, I'm a teacher too. Seriously, this place has been a God send and I'm going to be so sad when she has to leave one day. Thank you Whizz Kids!

The staff varies from excellent to good. The layout is weird, and the parking is bad. There is no park and ride in the area. Apparently kids can only be dropped off before 9:30 am. After that they need a call, which makes sense, but then no dropoffs between 11 and 3 because you have to walk through all the other classrooms to get to the 4yo room and you'll disrupt all the littles and their naps. My schedule is fluid and this has been a problem a couple times. My child comes home from school with ounces of sand in his shoes and clothes. I gave 3 stars because I feel that safe and competent care is more important than flexibility. Can't have everything?

Lots of little ants in the preschool bathroom, and 2 recent confirmed cases of hand, foot and mouth in the preschool classroom. The waddler and toddler classrooms are overcrowded when all children attend. The layout is the worst I have ever seen! Parents and staff have to walk thro both the waddler and toddler classrooms to get to the preschool classroom, making nap time horrible for both classrooms.
