“I am so thankful for Whizz Kids LFP. My daughter loves it there, and is happy to go every single morning. She talks about her friends there all the time, including the wonderful teachers she has. I trust the staff implicitly. I also appreciate that Whizz Kids does it's best to retain quality staff in a really challenging environment - even if that means I have to pick up my daughter early once a month so the staff can focus on professional development, or I have to pay a bit more so they can attempt to provide a living wage. I LOVE that the teachers are documenting my daughter's growth and progress in the app so I can see, and that there are twice-yearly conferences to discuss her progress and challenges. All in all, I feel very lucky to have found a place where I feel really good about leaving my daughter everyday so I can go to work.”

“We love Kiddie Academy! We were lucky enough to get a place for our daughter at 4 months, and I feel confident that we will be there for the long haul. What makes KA stand out:

1) Teachers and Staff: One of the biggest ways that KA stands out are the fabulous people who work there. The teachers and support staff are excellent, and it is so clear how much they put into their work. You can really see how much they love and appreciate each kid. It's heartwarming as a parent to see your child learn and grow in that kind of an environment. Debbie, the director, is also fantastic. She is experienced educator who absolutely knows what she is doing, and as a result, this KA location runs like clockwork. She gave my husband and I confidence that this would be a great place from the first meeting.
2) Communication: The way the school handles communication with parents is top notch. Every week we receive a newsletter from Debbie with a recap of the week and upcoming events. We also receive newsletters from our daughter's teachers, as well as daily recaps with photos, videos and summaries of what she ate, diaper changes and medicines administered. On top of all that, they will also send text alerts with timely information, like reminders to register for photo day.
3) Cameras: There are cameras in your child's classroom and on the playground, and so you can watch your kiddo during the day.
4) Location: This is a great location for anyone working in downtown Seattle. It's right off of 99, and about a two minute drive to the Seattle Center.
5) Food: The food provided at KA is healthy and varied. They also encourage parents to share recipes from their cultures to incorporate in the menu.

From the front desk, to the teachers, to the teachers aid and helpers, everyone is just VERY friendly, warm, and kind. “My family have been at the center since I was a teenager. I'd like to consider this entire building a part of the family. Not only did I use to get a tan, or my hair done, buy a coffee and be driven to a concert with the limo service, this center and the building owner have been in my family for over 20 years. I have 4 children ALL of which have attended here, 13 years to be exact. My 18 year old is still adored by the childcare owner, my other younger two boys, now 13 and 12 can be found in their wall collages as infants, and my now 5 year old daughter still attends. I have always been treated like family, donated clothes, and shoes for her, as well as I have donated in the past because of how much love and attention my children and I continue to receive. They have been so accommodating during COVID, and other slight illnesses we've experienced, and never had turned away a family. The women there haven't been thanked enough, just for being who they are, kind, loving, patient, understanding, professional in care, and attending to my children and my needs. Never will I ever no matter the cost, will I choose another center. And thanks to great technology now, I can pay my tuition, communicate with staff, and receive awesome pics and videos of her time there. I love this ohana, family forever.. Aloha!”

“I attended LWTG with both my children and had a great experience. We're sad to have aged out of the program. We loved having Teacher Kris all the years we were there. The space is full of fun activities for the kids and they change out frequently so the kids have plenty to play with, learn with, and explore. The parent education part has been very helpful for us, especially with out first. We've also made lots of great connections with other families throughout the years there. I would highly recommend!”

“Kiddie Academy is an excellent place to provide a safe and engaging environment for kids up to pre-k. The classrooms are always tidy and clean, and filled with various artworks from the kids over time. More importantly, the smiling faces of everyone on the pictures are replicated on everyone's faces: teachers, staff, and of course the kids! Everyday when we walk in with our son we can feel the warmth greetings from the front desk staff, a hand-wave from the director in the office, a hug from the teachers to our son, and countless classmates running over excited to see their friend again. The school also does a great job in terms of providing ample outdoor time in one of their three outdoor playgrounds. What is really cool is the fact that these playgrounds are on the top floor, and covered! This makes it safe and dry for the younglings! The best part about Kiddie for us though, is how their teachers taught our son to grow emotionally, socially, and academically. They really care a lot about the kids and simply loves to be around them. The kids learn to deal with social activities, conflicts, and togetherness. It really is one big family, which I personally think is the most important aspect for kids this age. I highly recommend Kiddie Academy and really enjoyed witnessing our son's experience here.”

“We have been very satisfied with Bright Horizons at Interbay. 3 years ago our kid started in the infant class and transitioned into the toddler, early preschool and now in preschool program. We felt very well supported at each transition and knew exactly what to expect. The teachers have been patient and caring across all classes so far and our kid still loves interacting with teachers whenever we catch them in hallway. Teachers are well trained to teach kids how to be independent, interact socially and handling emotions by providing right support even when the kids are non verbal or have limited vocabulary. Our kid has thrived in the play based environment. The center has an inclusive culture, making people from diverse backgrounds feel welcomed. The full day program tuition includes breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks which has been a blessing for working parents like us.”

“My 4-year old has been going to Alpha for over a year now. The staff is great. They all have a lot of experience with the little ones, which was quickly evident to me as my little one is quite shy and needed some coaxing to stay. The teachers are always enthusiastic to engage with the kiddos, very caring and introducing new and fun topics. My daughter was excited to share facts about planets that she learned in school. She enjoys a range of indoor and outdoor activities, including crafts, writing, math at Alpha. She's always excited to bring her work home and show it to us. A monthly parent's night out is also a nice thing they offer. We took a little break last term but still attended the monthly parent's night out as my daughter really enjoyed seeing her community. We are now back full time!”

“Our daughter started at KA of Kenmore when she was less than a year old - after about a year, she really enjoys the teachers and activities they do here! Our family is always greeted with a smile and made to feel like part of the family. “Our experience here has been really good here. They are very understanding and patient here with the Children and Families. They are a close knit of wonderful Teachers. We LOVE that they use the Bright Wheel app which makes it easy to see your childs progress throughout their day with photos and videos of them enjoying their day. Also with the ability to message back and forth through the app and their ability to respond so quickly makes it so much easier and helpful on the communication process between Parents and Teachers. Our daughter loves going to daycare here and we know that she is safe and happy when away from home while here.”

“At Interlake kids are really at the center of things. My preschooler knows the names of the admin team as well as the teachers in her classroom, because they all really want to spend time around kids. I have found Interlake community members adaptable, interested in child safety and development, diversity-minded, and kind. The staff and teachers are eager to work with parents, and the emergent curriculum lets children lead and succeed.The facility is a quirky old house that lends itself to phrases like "drop off is at the hobbit door". That space, combined with the great meals cooked in-house each day, give the center a homey feel. Inside the preschool classrooms there are traditional tiny tables and activity spaces for free play, as well as quiet 'loft' spaces filled with soft materials and sensory toys for times when kids need a space to themselves. Emotional learning is as much a part of the day as drawing and dramatic play. Each age group has a large play space outdoors, with toys as well as natural materials to explore in all seasons. At pick up time, it's hard to convince my kiddo to leave these spaces!”

“Great care at Overlake Kindercare. We were specially super happy this our son’s teacher Mrs. Sunitha and the director Mrs. Lorelei. Thank you.Transitioning a child to daycare can be a hard thing, there were some staff who weren’t as understanding in listening to the parents’ anxiety. But the above two people were really good at giving confidence to the parents and likewise showed the same warm attitude towards the children. We will miss them. Overall it will be great once child gets used to the daycare. I urge to make the initial days as smooth as possible for a child who is new to the daycare.”

“My 2YO and 5YO both had absolutely wonderful experiences at KC Harbour Pointe when they attended in 2022 & 2023. While we had originally registered at Edmonds KC, that center had so many issues (e.g. being unexpectedly shut down last summer by the department of licensing for a series of safety violations; multiple directors + the entire teacher staff turnover; etc.), that we ended up transferring to the HP location, which was much further from our home. Director Kathy kindly admitted our family without any notice, and with such welcoming open arms. She and her staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition for our kiddos and for us as parents. It was a night and day experience from the KC Edmonds location, and had we lived closer by, our kids would have continued attending. Kathy and her team are so buttoned up, and go above and beyond to create magical experiences for the kids - for example, they designed an awesome summer "camp" program that included pony rides, zoo animal visits, tie dye shirt making, creating stuffies, and even a mobile gymnastics field trip. We'll really miss Kathy and her team of amazing teachers. Whole-heartedly recommend KC HP as a wonderful place for kids!”
