First off, I would like to say that I love art. I am an artist myself and studied art and art history in college. I went to walk in recently to admire some local artists' work as well as the jewelry (I am getting married soon and would love to support local artists), but was met with an extremely hostile staff. They said hello to other customers, but not myself. As I walked around the store, I noticed they were glaring at me. I smiled, but that was not reciprocated. I would say they were probably having a bad day or felt it was better to not say hello or goodbye to me, but they were very kind and cheerful to other customers. It could have perhaps been because I'm younger and a person of color, or it could have been because I was carrying my backpack with me (I tutor people at the town center) and they thought it was suspicious. Regardless, it is really a shame that the staff is so unfriendly. Made for a pretty upsetting experience and I will not recommend to others. I already told my aunt who was actually planning on buying one of the raven paintings, and she has decided to look elsewhere. I would strongly recommend training staff to be more friendly, especially to POC customers, as they are often not treated the best. It's not a good look, Red Sky Gallery.

Red Sky Gallery has such a wonderful selection of art and gifts. The owner showcases different artists each month. Not only are there wonderful paintings, but also great pottery, bags, jewelry and garden art. A fabulous place to find the perfect gift.

Red Sky is a large, inviting space that showcases local artists' work and builds community. The quality of the art, regardless of medium, is impressive, and is the norm throughout the selection. Events with new artists many months, and classes too. Red Sky is easily one of the best galleries in the Puget Sound area.

I'm just in awe of the beautiful local art here. $ prices are a little steep but these collections are from the artist who is local. Yes I will pay for local culture. Especially pieces that just say Seattle all over them . The silversmithing is beautiful the prints are great the atmosphere is one I would love to return to. While I didn't make a purchase I will be back to look at the ceramic pieces and gift shop for my decor..

Red Sky Gallery has the most delightful mix of art work and mediums. The owner has an excellent idea of what works together and apparently has good relationships with the artists. I highly recommend Red Sky Gallery
