This will be the 3rd time I've had to wait on a prescription that I needed same day. They were ordered early morning and still not filled my EOD. Just called and they are "temporary closed".. it's 3:40pm on a Thursday. I would highly suggest choosing a better pharmacy.Edit: I just called the pharmacy on Martin Way. They transfered my prescription and said it will be ready in 2 hrs.

It’s a miracle if you can get a prescription filled here through any option available- online, automatic, faxed in, called in, etc. You have to prompt the pharmacy to fill prescriptions with a phone call, in which you have to wait on hold for 20+ minutes. Even automatic refills will sit in an “in-progress” status for days which elicits a phone call. Others won’t be filled unless you do call, just for them to say it’s out of stock and the pharmacy tech WILL NOT look up availability at other locations or other dosage or brand options. They said my doctor has to call to see what their availability is.I have had to play the back and forth game with my calling my doc office for a refill, calling the pharmacy to be sure they got the request, calling back to the doc office and requesting that they call the pharmacy because faxes never get received here, seeing that the status is “in progress” for days online, and calling the pharmacy to prompt them to fill it. Two weeks later of this, I can actually get my prescription.I called a different Walgreens location and they answered in less than 5 minutes, were friendly and polite, and had the prescription filled in less than an hour. I don’t know why I have wasted so much time at the Lacey Blvd. location hoping for an improvement or how this location is still even allowed to operate.

Rx is never ready on time. This is a dangerous practice for people who depend on life saving medications. They just do not seem to care.

They do not even bother answering the phone when they are busy. I think that is ridiculous and uncaring attitude. I do not recommend this branch to fill your prescription when you have another choice.

This has been the worst pharmacy branch I've dealt with in this area. I called in my rx refill and said it would be ready in 1 day. Went in 2 days later to pick up, and then the tech was rude and said that they could not fill the rx. I asked why, and she said insurance would not cover. I asked if she could elaborate since I have had same insurance for 15 years and never had an issue. The tech could not answer so I politely asked for the mgr. Then the "Operations mgr" came over and then explained that they could not to partially refills and only 90 day supply and that I need to contact Dr office to update the order to cover a 90 day supply. So I contacted my Dr to update the rx. Then the pharmacy "operations mgr" called to say they don't have enough quantity. You would think that she would have checked that, but I guess not. She offered to call the other stores to see if they had supply, but they did not. Usually other pharmacies Ive used would just give me a insulin pen or 2 to tie me over until their shipment is replenished, seems simple enough, but oh no that is absolutely not possible, agaist the billing procedures. I only had the idea because thats what every other pharmacy has done in the past if they didn't have a full quantity. The "operations mgr" then said I can pay out of pocket of $275 for one pen or $875 for a box. Lol ok, that makes total sense. Then I politely asked to talk to the pharmacist mgr., he was not in, but i could be put on hold to see if the store mgr was available. Then I asked for the name of the pharmacy district mgr, and she would not provide me a name at all or any other information on the next level mgmt. The"operations mgr" then said she could only provide the 800# lol ?. The customer service and straight lack of problem solving was to the level of almost incompetent, and the customer service was a horrible experience! All I was doing was asking questions and trying to problem solve this situation so that it doesn't happen in the future to me or to another patient. But hey, it's only 4 boxes at $875/box, so $3500 pharmacy billing to insurance isn't enough revenue to try and figure something out, like all other pharmacies have done in the past Oh, I forgot the kicker, the "operations mgr" even hung up on me. Because I was asking too many questions and said I wanted to record the call and have her summarize what she was telling me and that she was not providing me names of next level mgmt. since the pharmacy mgr was not in until tomorrow, as I wasn't just taking the 800# route. I communicated in a courteous and respectful manner the whole time as I work with people every day, too.Needless to say, I will be writing and emailing corporate about this experience. I would not recommend this pharmacy and would just stay away if I were thinking of using this pharmacy location. I'm usually not one to write bad surveys or reviews as I would just not write the review, but this was bad from start to finish!

Tried to fax a prescription from another pharmacy for over a week. Walgreens says they never got it and had no interest in trying to get it fixed. I wouldn’t use them for other prescriptions.

Worst pharmacy experiences ever! Every time I go to this pharmacy, there's a problem with something. They can't get my insurance info right, not filling my prescriptions or they're short staffed. Today I had an appointment for a shingles vaccine. I go in 10 minutes early, check in and wait. A man comes in after me, without an appointment, fills out paperwork for the same vaccine and after waiting there 20 minutes more, they call him back before me. The man got his vaccine and left and I'm still waiting there. I went up to the counter and a Billy Corgan looking guy asks how he can help me and i explain what has happened and told him that I had to leave. As I turned and started walking away, he said "okay". That's all he said. I'm done with this pharmacy.

My husband and I picked up Rx's today for both of us. We each have a separate express account so we don't have to exchange money or credit cards with staff due to covid. His Rx's had no copay, but mine did. The person who waited on us asked if we wanted my charges on my account, and we said yes. She put MY charges on HIS account. When I called to straighten it out, they said we would have to come in to correct it. So WE have to make an extra trip because SHE made a mistake. Infuriating. It's particularly annoying because before my husband had an account we had on one occasion asked that his charges be put on my card, to spare us the risk of money changing hands. They would not allow that, though both of us were present.

This was one of my worst experience with Walgreens. My boyfriend had just gotten out of surgery and needed his recovery medication. Upon arrival, we discovered Walgreens did not "accept" his insurance. He has a very well known insurance plan. Walgreens also states on their website they accept this specific insurance. The women helping me explained we would have to go to another facility to have the medication processed. I had to call the other facility in order for Walgreens to then transfer the request. This means I had to find another place near us that would process the request. Oh and, the staff was going on break in 8 minutes. I should mention, we are not from Lacey and do not know any of the surrounding areas. We were only in town for the surgery, and then we were leaving. To find another pharmacy in under 8 minutes was near impossible. We also had no where to stay while the medication was being made. The medication was ALSO sent DAYS before his surgery.I soon find out the medication was unable to be processed because of the type of medication he needed. It was against the law to transfer this in between companies without a doctors note. My real complaint was with the worker who helped us. She gave me false information, was not flexible, and did not help problem solve. When I tried to cover the medication under my insurance, this was also not allowed. I have always liked Walgreens, but I not very happy with the customer service and lack of kindness we were shown.

I live close by and come here often when I need something quick. However, Myran has got to be one of the worst customer service people I have ever met. He will talk about you to his co-workers when he thinks you're out of ear shot. Then be a complete j*** once you check out. He needs further training on how to be a nicer person. I'm assuming his life isn't amounting to much and disappointed with his life choices but if this job is wearing at him it's probably time for some self care or a job better suited for him, one that doesn't involve human interaction.

The staff hides behind corporate policies. Manager refuses to override the computer when customers show proof of zip code of information to redeem points to purchase items. The customer is wrong with their phone in their hands showing the correct numbers to the staff and being told the staff is right to treat people this way. RUDE and that's the way this store operates. Can't redeem not one point from months of collecting and paying out of pocket prescriptions. Screw your deals! Forget customer service! You all get what you all train your employees like. Same tone, same attitude. And because your scanners couldn't scan my BRAND NEW phone screen with no screen guards I was given ANOTHER card for your stores convenience. When will you get it? The customer is mad about how you treat them.
