“Stayed for 21 days due to work - Room smelled of animal piss / cleaning chemicals for a couple days… left window open all day / night and went to target for frebreze (helped a lot)
The amenities room was handy for the free laundry services.
I was on opposite side of highway so didn’t have the highway noise
Room was updated to a more modern style but bathroom was a poor layout…
Kitchen was either missing half the dishes or apparently it’s buy / bring your own pan to cook..?
Easy to get to from the interstate… close to fast food and some “major” restaurant chains but lots of little gems around also if you’re willing to drive a few minutes.
Staff is very friendly & helpful. Cleaning services are nice and actually do their job (unlike the hotel right next door) ?”

“I coordinated our company picnic at Gwinwood. It was a huge success! The staff was very helpful getting everything organized and planned. They were super accommodating and helpful before the event and the day of. The food was great and the kitchen staff was so nice and accommodating. The location is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room for lots of lawn games, volleyball and fun. And many even enjoyed swimming and canoeing. The picnic was a success thanks to Gwinwood! Thank you for everything!”
