Sold a car to a friend who banked at Timberland. Walked in the door w check for 3800 from his account. And my ID. Waited long time had to get special permission from someone who was talking on the phone about someone..handed me back THEIR bank check after stamping it and writing all over the back w a business card to give to my bank so my bank can call and confirm they had Not cashed it but had only stamped and written on it. Over a hour for nothing while my disabled cousin sat waiting w me..I was SO Happy to go to my own bank and I will never Ever take a check drawn on Timberland Bank.

I found this bank need to train it customer service folks better. I could not update/add a phone number online, so I tried the secure messaging. Nope, was told to call. Was given the wrong extension. Upon being routed to the branch, where the account was opened. (Which I have not been visited since opening the account.) Online only. However, I was told by the branch personnel that I had to come in and sign paperwork in order to add a phone number.. It is frustrating when the bank apparently does not train very well. Not to mention talked over me.

I have been with multiple larger banks over the years and the banking service which I received from Ashley Worth during a critical time of unprecedented circumstances was simply unparalleled. As a growing company we have amassed a diverse portfolio which has attracted a high-level tier of service by the big banks but their bankers’ efficiency and tailored services cannot compete with Timberland. A gracious pat on the back for a job well done to Timberland Bank.

Our small business needed the SBA Payroll Protection Program Application. I called Timberland Bank and received help and the application in minutes. While, on another phone with, Heritage Bank telling us “You will have to get in line for a call back”. Still have not received that call.

Staff are always friendly when I visit; nice, calm and organized place. I've been going to this bank for over 8-9 years and they are very helpful with whatever problems you may have with your account. Their customer service is also readily available during business hours.

After an hour on the phone trying to cancel one debit card that had been lost or stolen they still couldn’t cancel the card to keep it from being used. One card to our checking account and all I got was run around and then told to call the bank Monday and deal with it. Mind you this is Saturday evening. Really seems like the last thing on there mind is securing my checking account.

Just love going to my friendly bank on Marvin road in Lacey. All the tellers say hi if they aren't assisting other clients. Very informative and eager to help.
