For years, their plastic bags have reeked of cigarette smoke. It is absolutely disgusting to pull out your fresh produce and only be hit by that lingering smell. Obviously tied to long-time employees, and I suspect management itself, because only chronic smokers would miss that smell.

Closer Safeway to my home. And yes! Worse Safeway around. Specially pharmacy, pharmacy in this Safeway absolutely terrible- not professional and slow service. My recommendation- use any another option.

I went here to get Paxlovid after testing positive for Covid. I tried calling 3 times to see if the prescription was filled so I could avoid going into public with Covid for no reason. Unfortunately, neither of the 3 people working there would talk on the phone. The first two calls were picked up and promptly hung up without a word. The third time in rang and rang and said no one was available to answer the call.Upon arriving and standing in line, it turns out they don't even have the medication, nor could they find my prescription. Very bad experience.

Every time i come in i see a health code violation or food safety violation. Hot food should only be heated for up to 4 hours i believe. This was one hour before store closing.

I've been a regular customer at Safeway for years due to its convenient location near my house. However, my recent experiences have been disheartening. The fresh bread section is consistently empty, and the quality of vegetables leaves much to be desired.The customer service department is a mixed bag. While a tall young man provides friendly and professional service, there is a lady who is consistently rude and unprofessional not only to myself, to other guests as well. She has her own favorite customers that she provides better customer service and the rest are not welcomed by her. Despite being a loyal customer, I was taken aback when she abruptly demanded my ID for a lotto ticket purchase, contrary to the years of simply providing my year of birth.The lack of a consistent ID policy raises questions about past practices. Was this a sudden change or an oversight? Regardless, the unfriendly encounter left a sour taste. Not even a basic greeting was offered. It's disheartening when a routine grocery trip becomes a hassle due to inconsistent policies and unprofessional behavior.I hope Safeway takes these concerns seriously to improve the overall shopping experience for loyal customers.

Nice to have a back up place to cash my checks under $1000 , I work 9-5 so it's easier to stop by then to go out the way to my bank in the other direction
