I was honestly not looking forward to our long move across the state, but our sales person Darin and his moving crew, led by the the most excellent ,"Ricky", were exceptional. Our quote was very fair, along with great tips on how to pack and secure our items. Then the movers were careful, efficient and frankly just darn good. Thank you Morgan Transfer for making this so easy on us. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Dawn and Sean W

We had a fantastic experience with United Van Lines/Morgan Transfer. We moved from Seattle to Houston and reached out to several companies for quotes. I worked with Darin and he was incredible. He was responsive, detailed, transparent, and extremely friendly! He gave us great packing tips that saved us time and money. Once we signed on with United/Morgan Transfer we worked with Ashley as our Move Coordinator. Once again, another stellar interaction. Ashley sent detailed and helpful emails to prep us for our move and kept in contact with us and the movers as they were in transit. Our boxes ended up arriving a day late and Ashley immediately took the initiative to reach out on our behalf to file our claim for delayed arrival. We have had horrendous experiences with movers and this was a night and day experience. One or two of our items arrived damaged (unfortunate, but it happens) and once again, the claims process through United was fast and extremely fair. I can’t recommend United Van Lines and/or Morgan Transfer enough.

I could write a novel how disastrous our experience was with Morgan Transfer. Both the office and moving crew were misleading and uncaring. The movers showed up late, left trash through the house, smelled like cigarettes, and deployed zero flooring and wall protection which resulted in damage to our physical house. Not to mention the large number of personal items damaged during transportation, which they force you to wait weeks for an inspector to visit and even longer after that to process the claim. The office staff was more belligerent than helpful and attempted to withhold information we were lawfully entitled to receive. Overall, a horrible company with zero care for the customer. Please, take warning and avoid making the mistake of choosing them for your move. You can hit me up for copies of my communications with them to see for yourself how terrible their customer service and care really are.

I previously commented on Moran Transfer and I shouldn't have. They seem to be in the same building as the relocation service I complained about but they apparently had nothing to do with my move. I apologize for the erroneous comments I made.

We booked our move with United Van Lines/Morgan Transfer, the movers picked up the items and did not wear masks or shoe covers, plus the truck parking break was broken so the truck continued to start rolling backwards on our almost flat street.Three weeks later after our “final day” for delivery has passed we were finally able to get in touch with the moving company after hearing nothing back for a full week despite numerous calls and emails.Once we talked to them, we learned that their containers had mold in them and they were unable to ship our items to our new home. They then said the next step is to determine how many containers they need to build, order wood to build new containers, and then ship our items. There is no updated estimate about when they will be able to procure wood, build the crates, and send our items.We chose to use this company instead of a broker to receive better service but this experience has shown we made a horrible choice.Update: Our stuff finally arrived on Dec 2 after our Oct 18 pick up date. Our dresser is broken, a set of boxes are smooshed, and there was a 7ft tree in our crates that did not belong to us. Considering we pay for space when moving, we clearly had to pay to send someone else’s tree to our house. They also lost 2 of our boxes and couldn’t tell us what or where they are! A true disaster from start to finish.

Not a single part of our move from Seattle to Bend, OR was performed the way we were told it would be. Packing date was cancelled the morning they were supposed to arrive, but we were told they would send extra movers to help the following day. Not only did they not send extra movers, they were late and were still packing the truck well after midnight. While the packers were sorta trying to do their best, it was clear they were rushed and as a result they overfilled boxes leading to a lot of damaged items. They also didn't put anything down to protect the floors or walls until the very end of the night.No one at Morgan Transfer would return our calls on move day when we were trying to see where the extra help was.Or delivery date was pushed back multiple times, the last time because the driver wasn't rated to drive a truck that heavy and they had to send another driver 4 hours from Seattle before they could leave the weigh station. When the truck did arrive (days after our agreed BOL time period), it proceeded to leak gallons of coolant all over our new driveway.The two guys unloading the truck (again Morgan Transfer didn't arrange additional help like we were told they would) were the only stars of this process. Efficient, put down materials to protect the new house, clearly were taking their time so as to not damage our stuff, etc.This was our 4th professional move and none of them were handled this poorly, we always felt like the movers really were taking care with our stuff. Not so with Morgan transfer.

Cecil, Jennifer & Isaiah were the absolute packers that I’ve ever had in my life! They put Clorox wipes in a tool box. They put free weights in with our electric saw with no wrapping. There was no regard or respect for our items. They stated the company philosophy is to fill the boxes. Please seek a company that exempts common courtesy and decency towards your personal items! A dust pan with my crackers and stemless wine glasses, no sir I don’t eat with things from the floor!! My cake pan with the hand broom!

Used United to move from Seattle to Virginia. Morgan Transfer was sub'd out by United.Overall I would not recommend the service, its unclear why United uses them. There are definitely better moving companies out there. Seems like inter-state moves are not their strong spot.The Good* Arrived on time with enough staff to quickly and effectively pack my stuff. Packing job was good - none of the boxed good broke* My stuff mostly arrived in VirginiaThe Bad* Were 18 days past the BOL date which made the end to end delivery a bit over 5 weeks.* Extremely poor communication from Morgan Transfer - the only time I could get a solid status update is when I called - Emails typically went unanswered - even when it was clear they were not going to meet the BOL date.* Lots of little damages and lost items* Left my rather expensive kitchen Island outside during the pickup day - luckily I saw it the next day and called them to come pick it up* Unfortunately the kitchen Island was delivered damaged, but the delivery agents were nice enough to help me fix it.* Sent some of my items onto the wrong truck but United eventually found them and got them back to me.
