Service has declined over the years and I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or just lack of care. I moved all my prescriptions to another pharmacy only to be told by my insurance that CVS is their preferred pharmacy, so I moved them back. That process has been awful. They do not call, email or notify in anyway if there is an issue. When I did call they said I needed renewals from my doctor but they would request them. That never happened so I requested them myself. New prescriptions have been pending for almost 2 weeks with no communication on what more they need to process. When I called I was on hold for over 20 minutes and finally hung up. Terrible!!

I was having difficulty with a prescription refill. I called the pharmacy two times, only to have the phone hung up on me. So I grabbed my keys and drove to the pharmacy to discover only 2 pharmacists working. No acknowledgment from either them as I stood at the counter. Eventually one came to the counter and help resolve my issue in less than a few minutes. CVS needs to treat it employees better. Once I got to the pharmacy I understood why no one was answering my phone call. All the money pharmaceutical's are making from people in this country, some of it should at least be shared with the pharmacy staff. After all they are the ones having to deal face to face with an unhappy customer. The pharmacy staff has no control over staffing and should not bare the brunt of unhappy customers. If I could change pharmacies I would. Unfortunately I am a captive customer as my insurance company contracts with CVS. I've also complained to my insurance co. Time for a national health care system! Yes, I said the "S" word! Socialism. We are well behind most other advanced countries.

The website says it's a drive through, but instead it's located inside a Target. No direct way to contact the pharmacy and Target employees are rude and unhelpful. Won't be back.

This review is for the CVS in Target, not Target.CVS is just renting the space. My kids were scheduled (using the CVS app) to get a COVID booster shot for an upcoming trip. When we got here the Pharmacist, Carrie, said that she was too tired to give the IM injection and to come back tomorrow. I asked her how does she know she won't be tired tomorrow. She enthusiastically said," It doesn't matter because I'm not here!" I told her that it's just an IM (intramuscular) injection, it shouldn't take that long. She refused and then told me not to "gaslight" her about how easy an IM injection is. She then attempted to kick me out of Target.Nice try Carrie. If she truly is the manager of this location then I can only imagine how miserable her staff must be to have to work with her. When I asked how to elevate this concern, I was told to go to "CVS.com". That's just icing on the cake Carrie. Thank you, may you get some rest on your day off. Bottom line: Be cautious scheduling a vaccine at this location. They don't have the rested staff available to take on this task.

Pharmacist Carrie (more like Karen) is very unhelpful and rude and has delayed a patient's medication by over 3 weeks because she wanted our medical office to do her job. Our office did everything we needed to and they never communicated with us as much as they told the patient they had. They sent a total of one fax, which we replied to, and that was it. She proceeded to say that their pharmacy doesn't send faxes to offices when a PA is needed, which is interesting considering every pharmacy I've worked with has done so if a PA is needed, or we are contacted by CoverMyMeds, which would be initiated by the pharmacy. After she hung up on me, I called back to get the supervisor's or manager's information, but she stated she was the supervisor/manager and the next step would be to call corporate. When I asked for their information, she told me to google it. The lack of professionalism was mind blowing. This pharmacy has been a nightmare to communicate with. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone in the Olympia area.

Very friendly and helpful! Other pharmacies never answer the phone. I feel like this CVS always answers.

CVS IS A SCAM. I went there to get my booster shot. Got it, although it unnecessarily hurt. They need to learn how not to stick it in a muscle. In order to get a card, you have to go to their website and fill out a very long, very personal account application. Once you're done with that, you are subject to ads, emails, etc. And there is no place to get the damn card!

This is the WORST place! They were so disorganized and extremely unprofessional. I made an appt for a vaccine on the website, had to wait 20 minutes after standing in line for 10 and then they didn't have my appt registered. The staff was rude and short, I will NEVER go here again and will tell everyone I know how terrible it is. I asked for the managers name and they refused to tell me. They told me I had to call a number on Monday, so I'll be patiently waiting to follow up with them about my ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience. Don't try to get a vaccine here.

SUPER SLOW. There is one line with a sign. They skipped me and took someone else in the aisle next to where the line is suppose to be. Have been going here for years but seems like there has been some changes. Will be doing my prescriptions somewhere else from now on.

I'm from out of town and needed my prescription filled as I was running low. I was greeted and was asked for my information and was told it would be 15 -20 minutes for the prescription to be filled and plus what my co-pay would be. So I visited the Starbucks for a cup of coffee inside and walked around through the store and after 20 minutes returned to the pharmacy window and BAM my prescription was ready. I was in and out in under 30 minutes! The employees in the pharmacy were very responsive and professional plus very nice to me.

Very unhelpful, even (especially?) in the midst of a pandemic. They tell you what they (think they) know, then the next week it's a whole new story. You can spend hours on the phone to your insurance and your doctor trying to get everyone on the same page, and then just when you think you are successful, this CVS throws another wrench in the works. Incompetent and unhelpful.

Transferred my Rx here days ago hoping to try CVS delivery service during the COVID-19 crisis. My Rx has been "in process" with no word or updates for the delay. I'm not sure if they are even trying to fulfill it. If you need a prescription filled urgently, I would avoid this place.

I am a chronically ill person of five years, and I have rarely had an issue with this pharmacy (in both the Olympia and Lacey locations). I just wouldn't go when they are busy if I can avoid it. Friendly staff who took the time to answer my questions, and were honest if they didn't know.

Never again will I come back in here. Not only was the entire store a complete mess, but when I was experiencing issues with one of my items not ringing up as the listed sales price, one of the managers came over to speak with me. His name was Evan, and he was the rudest, snottiest, most dismissive and disrespectful person I've ever had the displeasure of speaking to. The sale was still in effect when I was there, and my item was included under the terms. He still refused to honor it and was incapable of POLITELY explaining it to me, so I left all of my unpaid merchandise in the cart and on the counter and walked out. Someone needs to teach this miserable man some manners. If I ever catch myself speaking to someone the way this man spoke to me, I hope to the good lord above that someone knocks me straight on my @ss and puts me in my place.

Target CVS Pharmacy in Lacey. My wife was given the wrong meds today we went in to talk to the pharmacist that was responsible and I told her the last thing I want to do is get anybody in trouble and she cut me off and said. "Don't worry I wouldn't get in trouble. We have Insurance for things like this." In a very snot nosed manner other then that she apologized for us having to come back. A few weeks ago same pharmacist had to consult with us about new meds and made it seem like we were wasting her time and when we asked her questions about the meds she gave very short answers and after we looked the meds up on WebMD she gave us the wrong answers to our questions. So avoid the lady with short dark hair.
