We have been very satisfied with the care Cadence has provided our little girl for the last eight months and we’ve been happy to see consistent improvements with new management over the past few months. Ms. Trinity and her colleagues have very kindly and professionally endeared themselves to our baby and our family.

This place has around 6 to 9 cases of hand foot and mouth disease. Siblings coming to school while there sister or brother is at home with it.. the one at school that's supposed to be at home with the one who is sick.. we all know that if one has it the other one does.. tje school tries to downplay it. But I'm calling the center for disease control. spreading it to more kids.. no EMAIL NOTHING..

Our children attended for less than two weeks before we made the decision to leave. This decision was made in the best interest of our children due to a series of concerning events.1. During week 1, the teachers of the school held a picket line on the sidewalk adjacent to Martin avenue demanding more money.2. During week 2, the school had a cap for students because of the lack of teacher availability.a. This led to combined classrooms and less than desirable conditions. It was apparent that whatever “curriculum” the school promoted would be impossible to execute under these conditions.b. Our children also complained that they had to ask for toilet paper because the teachers didn’t keep it in the bathroom.3. On multiple days we witnessed providers talking about the poor working conditions and “leadership” at the school. The school did make a change at the director level but the climate issues surrounding this location run much deeper than making one minor change. As a business, it seems too far gone to correct and in the two weeks we attended, the school seemed destined to fail. It requires a complete overhaul and rebranding.4. As a parent, I would not feel comfortable sending my children there nor would I ever recommend it as an option.

My daughter attended here for a little less than two weeks. Out of those two weeks she only attended for one full 10 hour day. Every other day I was getting called after anywhere from 2-6 hours to pick her up. I would not recommend this daycare whatsoever. Completely overpriced & a very inconsistent staff. Everyday I dropped off my kid it was all new faces except for the front desk lady. Also my daughter would cry as soon as I pulled into the parking lot to drop her off after her first two days. That’s unusual behavior for her, so id say be very mindful with your children here. I could list multiple issues I saw with this facility in just a week and a half but I’ll keep my review short.

My child has been attending since about January/February of this and at first we had no issues. Smiling faces in the morning, warm greetings but the facade quickly faded. My daughter has repeatedly come home with bruises and scratches from a very specific individual. The director, Shelby, consistently tells me she’ll “check the cameras” and get back to me. None of that ever happened and the same child that terrorizes my little girl still attends the school. He’s put his hands on her, stolen her items from her, and just overall made her not want to go into her classroom. I’m consistently told “we’ll look into it” but it’s never been looked into. There’s been more than one incident I’ve learned from second hand about incidents where I never signed an incident report. On top of that, they pay their teachers a whopping .26 cents more than minimum wage AFTER raising tuition a couple hundred dollars and for what? There’s been no increase in the quality of meals, the classrooms look the same, and now you can’t even staff a facility because of it all. “Competitive benefits” don’t mean a whole lot if your whole staff can’t afford to make ends meet. If it weren’t for the welcoming staff and the teachers and their assistants, I probably would’ve pulled my daughter long ago.

For the amount they charge, they should have a nicer facility and better paid teachers.I've heard numerous times about air conditioners being broken or other issues in the classrooms. My son's classroom was constantly being merged with another room during the middle of the day. All the staff look stressed and overwhelmed. They also did a mid year rate increase to $395/week for toddlers. Most centers don't do as mid year increase, and other centers at this price point are much nicer. The teachers were wonderful, but everything else wasn't. I can see why they always have openings for kids and are understaffed.

We’ve only been going here for a couple months and right off the bat I knew which teachers / teacher assistants were actually dedicated to what they were doing. Some of the teachers and employees of this preschool are so much more deserving of earning WAY more than $16 an hour especially for watching a bunch of kids everyday. They should be making $20 MINIMUM and there should be no difference in pay just because of skin color!!! Majority of the employees that are protesting are the good ones, the ones that care about the kids and are kind and leave a positive impact on the kids. Some of the employees here deserve 5 stars because y’all do the damn thing.

I worked here during the pandemic and it was one of the most rewarding jobs I ever had, but the pay is not okay. The teachers are being payed $16 (it was less when I worked there because it’s literally the minimum wage) while the managers and directors made much more. This is still an ongoing issue today with the teachers that are still there. I’ve also heard stories of other teachers being wrongfully let go after being with the company for a long time. The teachers here are amazing and deserve a higher pay.

My first time leaving my kids with someone else and communication is so important to me. My kids start in a week and the staff have been so wonderful answering all my questions making sure I understand and making sure I get all the help I can get. From there I know what kind of people/ staff I will be leaving my kids with. Thank you all for the awesome work and I'm excited for my kids to start with people who are wonderful and thoughtful.

Raise the teachers wages! $16 an hour is ridiculous. My kids love their teachers, as do I. This location is currently protesting wages, my kids havent gotten care in 3 days! I pay ~$3000 a month for my 2yr and 4yr old boys to go here and you cant pay your teachers a decent wage?! Get a grip Cadence!!!!!

Drove past the teachers from this daycare holding a picket line asking for $18 an hour. If this daycare raises rates and doesn't pay their employees even $18, how do they retain talent that can be trusted to watch children? $18 is pocket change for the responsibilities and emotional turmoil that comes with working childcare.

First off; i LOVE this school and ALL of its staff managers, directors, teachers AND assistants ? My daughter is so smart and loves being here with GOOD GENUINE SOULS that always take good care of her!WHAT I DO NOT LOVE:Corporate pays $16 an hour for all of these beautiful humans to be yelled at, hit, spit on, tantrumed, and cried to by these kiddos and they still hold their ground and help alll of these sweet babies navigate through their emotions in a healthy way with love for each kid in their hearts.Lets do some math shall we?Ill lowball some of these numbers just to make it “fair”Lets take 30 kids at 1,300 a piece a month. Thats 40k A MONTH. Subtract rent for the building, utilities, food, supplies, and small miscellaneous things and you cant pay your teachers?I am not good at math yall, but i KNOW the math aint mathin’ here “fam”.

Spoke with some of your teachers today during their strike; they deserve better!!! Better pay (they can't afford their bills), better rights with racial discrimination (people of color paid less than white workers), better planning time (non-existent or encouraged during their lunch time or at home), better curriculum (not provided), and a better substitute system with a provided curriculum and proper training.

I just thought it was time to review the daycare since we've been with them for over a year now. I'm so impressed. I was afraid of sending my kiddo to school because he had a bit of a rough start at our last daycare. My child has grown leaps and bounds with Cadence's care. We love all of his teachers, and we know that all of the teachers and staff love him. Sometimes drop off is hard, but most days, he doesn't even want to leave school! We almost have to convince him that he'll be back again to play with his best buds. We really appreciate that everyone has great communication with us, and we love hearing the stories he has to tell.He has impressed us over and over again with knowing his numbers, letters, colors, shapes, animals, and his story telling capabilities for a 3 year old are very impressive. They've even made potty training a breeze! (HUGE THANK YOU) He's always been smart, but I can strongly say that Cadence's teachers have helped support him in his growth and have helped nurture him to be a kind and polite little kiddo.Thank you!

We absolutely love Cadence academy and the whole entire staff. Shelby and her team are great with communication and making my daughter feel comfortable when she is having a rough morning.
