Katy's is exactly what a lovingly maintained Victorian B & B should be. This historic home has everything you need if you are looking to get away and decompress. We were welcomed with homemade cookies and tea, enjoyed the garden, sat by the gas fire pit in the evening and read on the veranda in the morning. If you have mobility concerns, you need to know that most rooms and the front porch are accessed by a stairs and do not have TV, but the high speed Wi-Fi was strong. For us Katy's was perfect. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was lovely. And then there was the gourmet breakfast! Curated and perfected recipes for breakfast with a different menu for each morning of our stay. John and Joan are exceptional hosts who delight in sharing their home with guests! We look forward to coming back again!
Walkability: Short walk to downtown shopping and dining.

We spent 5 nights at Katy’s Inn. I loved walking the front walk to the front door with flowers everywhere. Joan is an enthusiastic gardener. John and Joan were wonderful hosts, and they prepared fresh, artful and delicious 2 course breakfasts. They obviously love their Inn and created a lovely place.
We used their inn as a home base for several activities. We enjoyed the scenic Chuckanut Dr and the Oyster Bar. We drove 13 miles to Anacortes to do the Orca tour, and we saw Orcas! It seemed we saw 6-8 Orcas coming to the surface, around 25 occurrences. We also took the Anacortes ferry to Friday Harbor. We drove 15 miles to Deception Pass bridge and the Rosario beach. We did the La Conner Quilt and Fiber Arts Museum which I was surprised at the stunning contemporary creations. La Conner’s Wood Merchant store also has incredible creations.
And we were there July 4 and from our balcony we saw 3-4 hours of fireworks that surpassed any I’ve seen. It seemed finales were happening every 10 min.

We had a wonderful stay at Katy’s Inn over the 4th of July. John & Joan were very accommodating hosts and their breakfast spread was absolutely delicious.
There was an amazing fireworks display which we had a phenomenal view of from just outside the room on the balcony. I would highly recommend staying there for a July 4th getaway.
La Conner itself is a nice small town to get away to, we enjoyed the wineries and restaurants. Katy’s Inn is an excellent place to stay if you visit!

My friend and i spent 2 nights at the INN. The rooms were as described, and sparkling clean, as was the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. We were in the Captain's Suite--with quite nice views. The bedrooms were small but there was a lovely living room and almost infinite outdoor space in which to sit quietly. I had dietary needs, which the hosts met cheerfully, and without sacrificing flavour. Finally, they even mailed a post-card for me--I had misunderstood something and thought they'd offered but they just did it anyway. The location is really close to the heart of downtown, too.

What a wonderful experience at Katy's Inn. Joan and John were so much fun, so accommodating to our needs. We stayed two nights, our room was clean and comfortable, the cookies were great, and breakfast was amazing. Great restaurants close by, all within walking distance. We loved how they took time in the morning to explain the breakfast menu. You could tell John and Joan just love what they are doing, and you could feel the love. Thank you for making us feel comfortable like family. We had an amazing stay.

The inn was great and John and Joan were wonderful. They went above and beyond in order to accommodate my dietary needs (AIP Diet), even though it was their first time preparing a meal for it. Not only was the food great but they also taught me new recipes that I can make for breakfast!

Cozy, historical BNB. Joan and John are engaging and knowledgeable about the area. Located at the top of the hill only 2 blocks to the main street for restaurants and shopping. Parking on site. Your 2 course breakfast is thoughtful and nutritious even if you have special dietary needs. You will be amazed!! Thanks for a great stay! We hope to visit again.

Katy's Inn is a delightful BnB right in the heart of La Conner. I have been going there over 35 years, and every time it feels like coming home. John and Joan are wonderful innkeepers, and they serve the most delicious breakfasts. The rooms are unique in their own way, super comfortable. A lovely place to stay!

A beautiful historic home in the perfect location to enjoy La Conner. Cosy comfortable rooms (sheets are amazing) and great hosts. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, really enjoyed Joan's creations and John's descriptions of ingredients and prep. Really liked the sourcing of local food. Would definitely stay again!

The breakfast was wonderful. The hosts cooked meals from scratch with mostly local ingredients. They were very willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. This is one of the nicest b and b's I have stayed in.

We had a delightful stay in LaConner. Joan and John were wonderful hosts! Beds were comfortable, food fantastic, and we so enjoyed chatting with the guests during the delicious breakfast. Walking to dinner or church was such a treat. We hit the tulip festivals and found this the perfect location for that. We would love to return!
