I hesitated on writing this review because I’m not a review person, but I’m still upset about my experience.I was in a few months ago and let the staff know how horrible of an experience my dog had with a different grooming company. He’s such a sweet boy with terrible anxiety and I told Scruff to Fluff I’m new to the area and I needed a groomer who would make him feel comfortable. I was told he was in good hands. Welp, I got my dog back with a nail bleeding after a bath, brush and nail trim. I didn’t notice until I got home to check him over.. they didn’t bother to tell me they clipped his quick! I called back to ask them what happened and their response was “he didn’t react and we didn’t know we clipped his quick.” First of all, how does a dog not react to that pain? Second, you didn’t notice the bleeding? At all? Because I sure did.Overall really sad that I was promised a good experience here after telling them how much anxiety my dog has from a previous groomer. Now he’s just traumatized. Also - he’s a bulldog and the “bath” they gave him was mediocre. None of his wrinkles were cleaned, I checked them all and were how they were when I dropped him off. Overall disappointed with how the experience went - especially neglecting to tell me about how they clipped his quick. The girl who even handed him to me said “he did great and we got all the nails!”Really disappointed.

I can’t believe I’m just now leaving a review of the best groomer we’ve ever had. Artese & Erikka are amazing!!! We’ve been taking our dogs here on a regular basis for a couple of years now and can honestly say our experience is perfection each and every time. Not only are our dogs wonderfully groomed, but they were clearly loved and pampered during their visit at Scruff-to-Fluff. Furthermore, unlike other groomers we’ve used in the past, our dogs are not put in a cage for hours waiting for their turn to be groomed. Rather, they are groomed immediately…and we are called as soon as they’re ready for pickup—-approx. 1.5 to 2 hours later. Of course Scruff-to-Fluff was awarded Best Groomer in Kirkland!!??

These people earn a five-star review for being so flexible and customer service first oriented. I messed up and missed my appointment by 20 minutes. They slotted me in and 10 minutes later, I had my dog in to get clipped. About one and a half hours later, my dog was ready. The value is in the great service they provide, the bonus is the customer service.I wish more businesses, local and large, would get with this philosophy and practice it daily.

These two women are amazingly good at what they do,they take their job very seriously they handle every animal as if it were their very own and have such a way with their customers as well as their clientele, id be remissed to find a better grooming spot for our four legged family members anywhere in the puget sound area.Artese and Erica you are what all pet groomers and shops should aspire to be! Well done ladies& continued success!.

I was hoping that a place close to my home was going to work out for my Mini Doodle, but unfortunately Scruff to Fluff isn't a good fit. First they called the day of my appt to reschedule, which can happen, but caused me to have to wait another 2 weeks for an appointment. When I arrived at my appt, I told the groomer she had matting and I just wanted her to have a full shave except her tail. I was surprised when I got a call after 1.5 hours that she was done, especially when their site says less than 4 hours, I assumed she would be there at least 2. My dog gets nervous with groomers despite having been groomed monthly until my previous mobile groomer moved in August, so I'm sure she was challenging, but I wasn't aware of an added $20 charge until I asked for an itemized receipt and only then was I informed I was changed because she was harder to handle. She did have matting, esp after two additional weeks of waiting, so I was prepared for an extra change for that; however she is a 32 lb miniature Goldendoodle, and while her legs are long, she is not a large dog, but I was charged for a large dog. By the time I paid and tipped, it was nearly $250! As my dog was brought out, her face and ears were not shaved. Thankfully the groomer said no problem they absolutely will cut her correctly and she was taken back to finish her cut. When I got home, I still had to cut long pieces of hair from her stomach, feet, ears and legs. When a dog shows signs of discomfort, I understand it makes the groomers job more difficult, but at $148 for a haircut to begin with, time and patience should be built into this price.

We have had bad experiences with grooming Gemma before and today Artese changed all of that for Gemma! Thank you so much for all of your patience with our nervous girl during her bath and brush! Glad to know we found a forever groomer for Gemma!

They do a fantastic job on Fenway! He is a corgi and needs to be groomed a certain way and they are perfectionist! Will always take him back.

Nice nail trim. The haircut was not that good. Very spendy. No menu showing services offered. My two cents I'd shop around first.

I highly recommend the team at Scruff to Fluff!!! We took our newly adopted husky Deuce to get a good overhaul groom after he was abandoned by his previous owner and we had no knowledge on how he would react or if he has ever had special treatment before. Artese was amazing with him!!! He adored her and accepted the special treatment with open paws❤️ Artese and the whole team are very knowledgeable and professional and caring towards their fur friends. We appreciated every aspect of their care.

Beware of hidden charges! Grooming itself there is just okay-they basically shave him down. (IF you can get them to answer the phone to make an appt) My small dog was apparently giving them trouble, trying to bite the tools etc. When I picked him up I was presented with the "choose tip" screen, unaware they charged me $20+ for the dog being difficult. If they called me and said they'd have to charge me extra because he wasn't cooperating I'd have said, "yep, sorry-ok" But they did not-they just gave me a note (after transaction was completed). Three years old, countless grooming here and elsewhere (my fave moved) They don't have the patience to handle skittish dogs, they shady-charge you for their limited expertise & their customer interactions have become generally surly. There are better options out there.

I had the best experience with Scruff to Fluff! I have a shy 7+ year golden that gets a little nervous when in new places (especially the groomer) but Ranger felt so safe and comfortable with Artese! I have not taken him for a professional groom in a few years but it was the best haircut he has ever had (flawless!) & his coat is so soft and fluffy after his visit. He is looking good and feeling good :)

Best Experience Ever!! Our maltipoo, “Maverick”, this was his first time. They help him acclimate so gently and by the end he was running around and didn’t want to leave. Being a new puppy owner is already nervous thing, but the staff at Scruff and Fluff not only was able to calm my 4mo old, but me as well! He was so happy on the car ride home (see pix) You can trust them!! I will be going back for sure!! ???

Well, they told us our dogs are no longer welcome there. Do our dogs misbehave? No. Do they bite at the groomer? Also, no. Their crime is not liking the process, and then whining and being stressed out. Never mind they come home happy and prance about. Well, dogs need grooming, even if they don't like it. What are we supposed to do, not groom them? Shame because we always felt they did a good job. The groomers remembered the dogs, knew how to work with them, handled seasonal cuts, were friendly, and had reasonable prices. But if they won't help our dogs anymore, none of that matters.
