For whatever reason this Safeway seems a much nicer experience than the one on 140th, which is always being watched by the policeThis one also has complimentary, if slow EV charging whilst you shop, which I use and appreciate.

This Safeway is clean and situated in a convenient location but I’m sorry to say the staff of this grocery does a terrible job in removing expired and degraded food items from the rack. See this picture of a moulded bread! This is the second time I came across expired food items here! Not good.

Went there today (5/28/2024) during lunch hour to get sizzling work. When I arrived the counter, I noticed one customer left the counter with a disappointed face, and said "maybe next time". I waited in front of the counter, and noticed all ingredients are covered with lids. The guy who was making sushi turned his head and told me "we are not open today". I wish there was a sign on the counter to inform the customers. In addition, he had an unhappy face, perhaps woke up in the wrong side of the bed. Ver disappointed.

Get it together. Never do I arrive and get to pick up my order without waiting 10+ minutes and making a phone call. The app doesn’t seem to work as intended. I often receive items I didn’t order (not even replacements - just entirely different items)Further, the staff is slightly unprofessional. The shift manager attempted to put back produce I returned from a grocery pickup and didn’t ask me about if it was refrigerated or anything. It had been in my car for several hours and even after I mentioned it, I got the impression it didn’t matter to her.

Terrible service, the cashiers are too racist. I have never felt so attacked for being Hispanic. Every time I go, they treat me with racism for not speaking Spanish. I do not recommend the place because of its discrimination.

Most of the store is good.Don’t buy their brownies they have an hard top under the frosting that’s gross. Not even like over baked but old and dry. Happened months apart and with different flavors.After the tenth bag of frozen shrimp of different types and brands I’m done.All nasty. It is either their freezer or vendors but trust me, don’t do it. Soft and squishy, fishy smell, slimy, and this last batch had a chemical smell and taste alongside the fishy taste.Finally got some good shrimp at QFC. Blew me away.

Pharmacy service is a mess. Staff is unorganized and takes forever to get the medicine ready. Meanwhile, the hospital is expecting me to be on my medicine and I can't even get the prescription filled until a week after.

This store is close to 405 and so it will be a good choice if you are looking to make a fairly short stop. However, local traffic and timing may dictate how short. Anyway, they usually have a good produce selection and typical Safeway experience. There is a beer and wine section and a bakery as well as a pharmacy. Most people are very nice who work there. The prices are not the best but you can find good food here. The parking lot is a bit busy and shared with the Walgreens next door but usually isn't full. The best time to shop is probably between 8am and noon.
