“I always past this small store while on the bus. Finally stopped in. Ordered the Turkey BLAT. Brought home and it was delicious! So glad I finally tried it. Going to stop by more often. The little grocery store helps too with drinks and candy for my sweet tooth.”
“This is a cozy local nook if you need a place to unwind in the evening with a glass of wine and live music. I enjoyed watching the people dance and the band play.”
“We discovered this store by accident and it has become our number one go to for all things alcohol. Their prices are on par with other seller but the service we get from the manager every time we come in is exemplary; not only do we get excellent recommendations for things we might like or are worth trying, but the sheer knowledge those recommendations come with is astounding. We always have a warm positive experience there, regardless of how terrible our day may have been otherwise. Proper & Ernest is more than just a store, its a haven. They do lean more into better quality than the grocery store cheap stuff, but that doesn't mean that everything is expensive, just that even the lower shelf stuff is still likely to be pretty decent.”
“I saw a post online which was so positive as I was searching for somewhere to walk to get wine- totally worth the walk - such a lovely couple! the place may be small but has everything you need at reasonable prices!!!! will absolutely make this my wine shop!!!!! kindness matters and this couple were SO kind to me!”
“Always a great place to shop. It’s so friendly and although it’s small, they always have what I need. The wine selection is fabulous,as well and very well priced!”
“Original Artwork will always be expensive.. prints vary…I imagined this place a little bigger but overall 4/5 . Maybe a 5 if they switched out artists. Online info of artist and paintings on display would be nice.”
“Shout out to Ronaldo & the cook. My friends were right about your chicken teriyaki. As soon as I ordered mine, 3 other people ordered the same. The chicken is so juicy & the egg rolls are just as good. Thanks for your service”
“The definition of a local hidden gem. It might be easy to walk right by the storefront, but inside you'll find one of the best, most interesting selections of beer, wine, sake, and cider from around the world. Plus you can grab a beer from their selection of taps in the back and hang out while you browse. They're even dog-friendly! Long live Bottleworks.”

2103 Western Ave, Seattle“I love this place so much. It’s right in my backyard and I make regular stops here. It’s such a relaxing experience browsing all the aisles and there is always something interesting to be found. Great for gifts for others or to get a nice treat for yourself.
Just wish they stayed open a bit later, but that’s Seattle I suppose. I hope they never go out of business!”

1418 Western Ave, Seattle“New owner is not letting this place down, still a great selection and I particularly appreciated Tom’s care to ask what items we like to usually purchase as they try to update their inventory. All the mainstays PM has had for years are still there, can’t recommend enough if you want French or Spanish items!”
“A great small wine shop in the shadow of Laurelhurst. The proprietor has an extensive knowledge of smaller French wineries that offer great wines at really fair prices. Very helpful. Specializes in France, but the selection is rounded out with other old world wines. Highly recommended.”
“Approachable wines, affable merchant! This wine shop in the Columbia City are carries a wonderful variety of affordable and fun wines, with some very nice bottles for special occasions as well. This visit we picked up several new wines to try, some we chose and at least one we bought on a recommendation from the merchant. All very good, and none broke the bank.
What to know: street parking nearby or there is a pay by the hour lot just up the street. Visit the neighborhood for lunch and afterward pop in for some wines to help you celebrate the rest of the week. Wonderful!”
“I love this place! It has so many cute things that make me so happy. Certain things are definitely over priced. But other things are actually a great price! I've been very happy with my purchases”

58 E Lynn St, Seattle“LOVE the wine selection and staff are so so nice! Wish the produce was a little better (wilted lettuce/old herbs) but you can't go wrong here. Deli in the back is a great spot too for lunch”
“Great wine selection and very knowledgeable owners and staff. I joined the wine club for a reasonable price and I guess once you join, you are in for life. You get a discount on bottles that don't have a red mark on the price label when you join the club, along with some other benefits. Like that they are close to home and open often.”
“This wine store boasts the largest selection of wines in Seattle. I was able to buy the wine from the northwest region of the US that I was looking for!Hours are short, but it is conveniently located next to the first Starbucks store.”
“We are visiting from Michigan and came here with family. Everyone there was very nice and the wines were fantastic. Sarah did such a good job talking to us about the wines and making this a memorable experience.”
“Oh my gosh! Last night they had their annual Champagne Showcase. Tickets were $25. They had 49 different champagnes to sample, and they were all ice cold! Not to mention that they have very knowledgeable and helpful staff for a normal visit and just about anything you could possibly want to drink at their location. I believe they will do special orders if they don't have what you're looking for.”

15505 Westminster Way N, Shoreline“This has been one of our favorite grocery stores for many years. Excellent produce selection, excellent variety of vegan items, basic groceries, fancy chocolates, kitchen gifts, bulk foods, frozen foods, baked goods, hot dishes in the deli with a seating area.”
“I might be a bit biased but this place rocks. Having all intake taken care of for me, my collection inventoried by the P55 staff, being able to see all my wines online via the P55 app, select what I want then have it couriered to me or pick it up in Georgetown. Fun events for members and the only storage service in Seattle providing this service.”
“We go here regularly for wine since we live in the neighborhood. They have a great selection and it’s encouraged us to discover new wines we love. Also, the people working here seemed genuinely enthusiastic about wine, which makes it really nice when we ask for help or we’re checking out.”
“Full Pull ships during weather appropriate windows! They monitor the whole country! I haven’t bought wine off the shelf anywhere in years unless I’m on vacation somewhere. FP keeps me stocked and I get a little bit smarter every time I read one of their emails.”
“A lot of choices for its size! Truly something for everyone. The folks running the place are super friendly and helpful and they have the cutest little pup. Can't recommend enough!”
“This place is awesome today was my first time visiting the store and the customer service was the best I have experienced since moving to Redmond, and that is such a good feeling being a black man when you are automatically discriminated against as soon as you walk in other places. So thanks Redmond Ridge Spirits.”
“A great experience and delightful beverages and cherries to take home.
I loved that we could see the actual pot still and lots of fun information.
We’re not folks that normally have mixers with drinks, but it was very nice to try the rum straight and then have that same rum turned into a mini cocktail in front of us.
Well worth the trip, great place to take visitors and give them a taste of the Pacific Northwest”
“Just moved in and I'm absolutely loving the complex!Management was super helpful during the move in process and I love the unit. Layout makes great usage of square footage, feels bigger than it is as a result. Lots of little perks (in unit w/d, new kitchen appliances, lots of closet space etc) that come together for a great experience. Super friendly community that's made me feel right at home.Best of all the views of lake Washington are flat out AMAZING!!!”
“A fantastic store and a hidden gem of a wine store. If you're tired of seeing the same old labels and wines at the grocery stores, this is the only place to find something unique, different, and new to try. Best of all, the prices are amazingly competitive and affordable. They carry very high-end exclusive wines to everyday table wines. Josh (the new owner) will help you pick out the perfect bottle to meet your budget and occasion.
Save the hassle of driving all the way to Total Wine. You won't get the same expert and personal service as you'd get at Rainy City wines.”
“I live block away. The staff are always so kind, so helpful, and always polite ( a rarity among Seattle businesses these days). I can't think of one time where I needed something and they didn't have it, which is pretty impressive considering it being a "quick mart".They also have a sandwich bar. They serve Borehead I believe? I've never personally tried any of their sandwiches, but I see people ordering them all the time during the day so that's gotta mean something!”
“Nice selection of craft beers both 4 packs and singles to mix and match and make your own 4 pack. Could do without all the smoke/vape/pipes but to each their own.”
