After visiting multiple ring shops, our first visit at Lake Street made me feel like this was the right place to get my engagement ring. Our consultation with Vince was informative, helpful, and empowered us with the decision making process. After a couple of visits we were able to decide on a diamond and also customize the ring, side stones, and the wedding band to all match up very well. I was a bit hesitant about getting a smaller sized band but Vince helped me think about the different scenarios and how I can manage wearing my ring in different weather conditions. When I saw my final ring in person it was exactly what I wanted, and I’m so happy with how it turned out and the experience I had at Lake Street. I recommend this place for any couple looking for an engagement ring and wedding band for your special milestone!

This spot was the absolute best! Vince and his team treated us with the utmost respect and patience. When we were looking for potential jewelers, we stumbled upon lake street diamond company and knew this was the place for us. Vince gave us the whole rundown about diamonds and it was a ton of fun learning, hearing his experiences, and getting advice. I recently got a custom made diamond ring. It turned out perfect. They made sure to contact me about the design in every step, gave me the best quality as per my budget. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, overall I had an amazing experience. It was a dream come true. Definitely recommend to go check out and make your dream come true.

My wife and I have been married for about sixteen years and her wedding ring/bands had the damage to prove it. We walked into a different shop a few months ago to get an idea of what it would cost to fix it up, but weren't ready for her to be ring-less for a week as it was repaired. A couple weeks ago, it was time to get the work done so I spent some time here on Yelp only to find a unicorn: 40 reviews, all but one are five stars? OK, sold. Somehow I confused the open time and showed up early. They let me in about ten minutes before the sign said they opened. Shivali greeted me, took a look at the rings, and listened to what I wanted done. A small diamond had fallen out of the bands, which we wanted replaced. The main ring had gotten a bit bent while my wife was cooking. The white finish was thinning in a couple spots. Shivali quoted a fair price (about 20% less than the other shop we visited on a whim) but also let me know that the ring should be re-tipped as the prongs were wearing down. She handed me a loupe, patiently walked me through its use, and showed me the dangerously thin prong. Let's take care of everything, please! Since I didn't have an appraisal, which is necessary for insurance, I ordered one from their third-party appraiser as well. There was a bit of confusion, but honestly I'll own most of it as I didn't initially ask follow up questions. She said it would be done the next day, but I misunderstood that that was the repair instead of the appraisal. Within conversational flow, it could have been either one and I didn't think to clarify. The receipt they wrote for me showed the repair date to be in a week, which was fine and expected by my wife. They texted later that day to say they'd discovered a small chip under one of the prongs. Bummer! Was it still OK to proceed with the repairs? The wife gives the thumbs up so we move forward. A week passes and, right on time, they let me know the ring is ready. Somehow I AGAIN forget when they open and show up early. Everything has cleaned up well and looks really nice. The chip is realigned with the prong so it doesn't impact the shine or sparkle. The appraisal won't be ready until the next day, but Shivali offers to mail it to me to save a trip. My wife was really happy with how beautiful her ring looks, but noticed that one of the small diamonds in the bezel doesn't look right. When the appraisal comes, it notes that one of the stones in the ring is broken. Aww man! I wish we'd known because I would have been glad to have it repaired (especially before the appraisal!). I'm assuming it was broken before we dropped it off and not during repairs, but it stands out - fortunately it's on the bottom, so not as noticeable unless her hand is palm-up. It may have been cracked already and shifted during cleaning or reshaping the ring, but we just don't know. In either case, I can't imagine they didn't notice the broken stone. They'd already texted me a couple times about other things during the process, so why not ask if we wanted that fixed too? I'd have had no problems paying to bring the ring up to 100%. While the lack of communication around the broken stone prevents me from giving the perfect five star review I was hoping for, I am quite happy with the overall service and price of Lake Street Diamond Company. If my wife wants to replace either the small stone or the main diamond, I'll be coming back to LSDC first.

This company is incredible. Don’t underestimate their small shop. They are mighty family business. In 6 weeks they took a photo of a ring we liked and turned it into a spectacular engagement ring that blew away my fiancé. Their personal service, quality and attention to detail were incredible and they were the best value for money too. Sam and Vince with their lovely wives are an incredible team to work with. They will forever have my business.

I bought a diamond ring for my proposal from the shop. I kinda felt nervous and unsafe when I walked into the shop due to my lack of knowledge/experience making such a huge purchase. But the owners educated me A to Z about the options I can choose. They are very sincere and reliable. Most importantly, my fiance loves the ring so much!

One of my wedding band came unsoldered from my engagement ring and they were so pleasant to work with to repair my ring. Everyone there is so friendly, it was reasonably priced and they did a beautiful job cleaning my ring. I've had my ring cleaned at other places, and I felt that they did the best job, it looks brand new again. I won't go to any other jeweler for anything from here on out.

My husband and I shopped around for wedding bands at numerous jewelers in the Kirkland area. When shopping around, we asked for a custom wedding band with mined diamonds in a similar color and quality to match my engagement ring. From the four quotes we received, Lake Street Diamond Company, was the best option. They do everything in house from making the mold to making the ring itself. So, it eliminates the “middle man.” This meant that we got our ring quicker and it was also cheaper. Plus, the staff are so friendly and amazing to work with. My husband also got his band here too but wound up ordering a size too large and it was too close to our wedding day to exchange before. So, they allowed us to exchange for the smaller size upon our return/after our ceremony. We will be using them for all future jewelry purchases.

The owners are Indian and as such have the best knowledge about diamonds, colored stones and all kinds of mounting materials. Their family has been in the business for 4 generations and this is their first retail store. I was truly happy and satisfied with the thought and consideration that went into suggesting the perfectly matched diamond pair for studs within my budget. Overall the process of selecting a diamond and getting it mounted to a setting of your choice takes time if you are on a budget. I would highly recommend these folks over getting your diamond from bluenile in Portland .

This is a fantastic shop with many great in-stock items and they are excellent at repair. Their true talent lies in their ability to create one of a kind pieces. I came in with a complicated bracelet design I had seen on Instagram and asked if they could replicate it using a diamond that belonged to my grandmother. Within a couple days I had a 3D design in my email inbox of exactly what I had asked for. They even went out of their way to design a special closure for the bracelet because they did not feel the original design I saw on Instagram was secure enough. I'm grateful to have found this shop and will return for all of my future jewelry needs.
