Came here for a visit. They said they had a place for our daughter. We took a tour and really, I am happy for not having her there. We have a friend who had a son attending the place and gonna be honest, sad for him, but now he took his son out. Btw, they never called to enroll our daughter there even we let our names and some information for them to call. Happy that it never happened. We even saw some “assistants” smoking inside the car in the parking. I don’t know, not good right?

After being enrolled for about a year, we were not happy with the overall quality of care here and found another provider in the area.Food: weren't happy: common meal was macaroni or tuna fish, issue was it was slopped on the table and most of it came home on child's clothes (we did provide bibs which were not used) nearly daily. We adopted daycare clothes and weekend clothes: anything going to daycare was likely to be dirtied regularly. Another anecdote was a snack of bananas was given outside. Great snack, outside time awesome. Combo with a waddler, less than ideal. Watch our little one drop said banana in dirt, pick up and eat. No attempt by staff to stop this occurrence.Naps: environment was not conducive to naps for our child. Aka rarely took any nap at all there, while at home was consistently taking 2-two hour naps. At the new care facility regular and quality naps are taken. Having more varies experiences now, I feel like this was not due to our child being difficult to put down or a light sleeper: we sleep well in varied environments.Lord of the flies is a perfect description: our child was bitten multiple times. Snatching and defensiveness of toys increased while there. We observed when we came and went, that there was always an adult(s) in the room, there was little guidance on constructive activities or developmental learning, like sharing or turns. I was never worried about my child dying, but I was worried about what she was learning (or not learning). We had three bad bouts of diaper rash. Based on the updates diapers are changed in accordance with state regulations, every two hours. I don't recall it ever being reported as needed, aka more frequently than 2 hours and never longer. Haven't had a diaper rash issue in over a year since leaving. It's a lot of anecdotes, small things we admittedly weren't comfortable confronting while there but stacked up to: while we felt our child was safe and won't have lasting damage, we weren't happy with the quality of care and moved on (based on seeking better care in the area, not because of moving or graduating in to school). In hind sight, I would have paid more for care elsewhere.

My kid has been going to Kindercare Juanita for over a year now. He joined as an infant at 6 month old and graduated to woddler/toddler classes. While I should have given this review ling back, took a while to get to it and the only reason I had to was because the current rating at Yelp is soo misleading at just over 2 stars. Booked a spot here a months before my kid was born after researching and visiting multiple daycares in Kirkland/Bothell area. Ms Brooke, the centre director was extremely welcoming and pleasant from Day 1 is the perfect mix of being friendly, hands on the deck when needed also very efficient at running the centre. The teachers are kind, have the kid's best interest, engage the kids in various age specific activities, share pictures/updates and we feel esp lucky to have Ms Abby to be with us on this new parenthood journey where we trust her as another parent of our kid and has been taking care of my kid across the infant to toddler journey in such a loving & caring way. I may not remember all the other names but Ms. Mary, Ms. Brooke junior, Ms. Rachel, Ms. Sarah also deserve kudos for what they do in our interactions. As a first time parent and mom I feel safe that my child is well taken care of at Kindercare Juanita and from my kid's perspective I see him happy to see his teachers/friends which gives me joy.

This Kindercare is an absolutely horrible establishment that needs their license revoked. Absolutely disgusting people who do not care about your child. Staff refuses to give incident reports, unprofessional trifling humans who shouldn't be allowed within 10 feet of children

I was devastated and heartbroken to see my sweet little boy come home and break down crying because kids physically hurt him on his 1st day. He had come home with a bite on his hand and a scratch on his face. Even though my son had already told me everything I wanted to hear it from them and see how they handled the situation. I gave them a call and they said they would get back to me asap. Two days later I had to call back and I finally got ahold of Brook. She assured me everything went well and he had a great time, even though she stated she wasn’t the one watching my son. When I told her that my son had a bite mark on his hand and a scratch on his face, she acted surprise. So either my son wasn’t being watched and it went unnoticed OR they’re straight up lying to parents about these incidents and not acknowledging it. I know these incidents tend to happen in young kids so all I wanted was an explanation, it’s the least they can do. But the fact I couldn’t even get that shows how neglected and unprofessional this daycare is. It’s truly sad how so many kids go here and this is how they handle these situations. Either they’re taking advantage of kids who don’t talk yet or the teacher to kid ratio is not what they say it is. As parents we deserve to have the peace of mind knowing our kids will be in good hands and this daycare is not it.

Was trying to get my daughter enrolled here but after not getting any response and getting flaked on for my virtual meeting I’d rather not. Everything is through email, which is fine, if you can get them to respond. I had two virtual meetings set up with “Cindy” and both times I got no response from her on the day of. I even got a “I’m so sorry for the late response” just to led into a no email and no show for the next meeting. Unprofessional to say the least. If this is the communication level for just trying to enroll then forget if I will get any information about my child if she was there.

I have two kids here a three-year-old and an infant. I have been taking my kids here for 2 years I was fortunate enough to see the interactions between parents and teachers pre covid. When parents were allowed to come in the center the staff was always very good at making everybody feel warm and welcome. I always feel like the center's staff is very good at making sure the building is clean every day. Now that things have changed because of the new covid-19 procedures I feel like I can trust them to stay clean while I have to go to work.

We love our daycare, the teachers at Juanita Kindercare go above and beyond for my daughter, their cleaning and sanitary routine is spotless. They have monthly Zoom meetings to go over important things and are always there for you and your family.

My wife and I will forever feel guilty for having for having left our son for so long in this terrible place. It is an extremely negative environment in which the older children—particularly the children of staff members, who seem to rule the roost without facing any consequences for their actions—bully and abuse the younger ones when they're not teaching them swear words. My son had one good teacher, but since this dysfunctional place is constantly understaffed, she invariably had to help in a different classroom, the resulting lack of supervision creating an environment like something from Lord of the Flies, which has left our son with a lasting trauma. To add insult to injury, they continued to charge us for a month after our son stopped attending, and we are still waiting for them to reimburse us.Avoid at all costs.
