Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a tax office. There have been five different accountants working on a very simple tax return. The first was completly messed up because the accountant didnt listen to what I said and just went ahead with how they felt they should complete my taxes and they came back wrong. I paid to see that return because of the pay wall. And now they are asking for me to pay again for the fixed return. I have sent them screen shots of bank accounts showing that I have already paid but they cant seem to get anyone to approve it. We are now in July and they haven't been filed! Once the nightmare is over I will not be working with them again.

I'd recommend working with anyone but Sonny at this location, as she has shown little to no sense of urgency during the three or so times I've visited with my wife over the last two years. Most recently, being 20 minutes late to our appointment was amusing to her - When she asked what better things I had to do, still joking about being late, I told her I was going outside (first warm day of the year) - Her reply was: "Would you like to come do yardwork at my house?"... As a hispanic person who's done plenty of yardwork for extra cash in the past, I felt target by her "toe-the-line", borderline bigoted remark. My Wife and I will never return to this location.

Tax preparer was unsure and made mistakes that I had to point out. She was also sick and coughing and did not wear a mask until the last ten minutes of our appointment. I have very low confidence in the accuracy of my filing and will not be back.

I met with a tax professional in the Kirkland office on March 3, 2023 to do my taxes, but unfortunately, I never heard back from him. As the deadline approached, I started calling the office every day and every time I was assured that this person would call me back.However, on April 17, one day before the deadline, I was shocked to learn that the tax professional had left the office, leaving me hanging with no resolution in sight. This was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had and created a lot of stress for me and my family.I was forced to estimate my own taxes last minute and file for an extension. While eventually the situation was resolved and my taxes were later handled by the Redmond office, I was still charged full price despite all this prior unprofessional behavior from the company and bad customer experience.I submitted a complaint with the regional manager, and she offered me a full refund. However, after two months and eight follow up emails on my part I still have not received anything. The regional manager stopped responding to my emails, and I am very frustrated. I will be filing a complaint with the office of the Attorney General.Don't use H&R block! You will save a lot of money and frustration down the road,

Lack of communication and good management. This was my 3rd year coming and never had a bad experience until now. Had to make 4 visits to get our taxes done.

I was in the office today and asked how much it cost me (I wanted to know then decide if I do it here or not)BEFORE she start filing the tax. I have been told $86. I decided to do it because $86 sounds reasonable. at the end they charge me for $205. (they are not even educated enough to file the tax)SO BE CAREFUL! I WONT RECOMMEND HR BLOCK AT ALL!!!
