I LOVE Grocery outlet. Yes everything is somewhat close to expiration, and yes their stock is wildly inconsistent. But you can find some bonkers deals. I routinely go to grocery outlet as it is one of the only places I know where I can get these low prices. It's really a bargain market

Pros: the store is clean and organized. They have repeat items so you know you can get certain staples at particular prices.
Cons: you have to hunt hard for something that isn't the normal price at PCC, WF, TJs, Sprouts, QFC, etc. The NOSH (natural and organic) is far less than even a year ago. They used to have 1 full aisle, plus a section in dairy, etc.. but now they have a small bit of one side of an aisle and the rest of those areas are just regular industrial food with chemicals and dyes, high fructose corn syrup, etc.
GO used to be great.. prior to the pandemic. Been shopping there for 35 years. Even the first 2y of it was still good.. but the last 2y it's full of people that have never shopped there, don't realize that when the sign says: "price" (lower) than the "price elsewhere number" that actually the price is the price elsewhere. Sometimes it's more than elsewhere. Those numbers for the "price elsewhere" come from corporate in California and they are the highest prices they can find, not the normal prices.
If you want to add another store and you have the 90min a week incl travel time.. do it. But everything from organic chicken thighs or breasts, organic eggs and milk, org bananas and other seasonal fruits and veg, the cans and bottles of whatever you want, are the price at all the other stores. A bunch of things are 10% more.
It's just no longer a deal. The better bet is to watch sales weekly online and go to stores for a dozen items all marked down a lot. Right now reg. stores are all doing BOGO free offers. And the prices are the same. So it's 50% of GO. Other times the sales are the best deals around. 40% less than regular or GO.
Disappointing that the concept has been ruined getting near end of expiration items for 25% of full or deals on discontinued items, or items that didn't sell or just had too much to be moved elsewhere. Misfits Market, Thrive, Azure and all the regular stores now have the better deals or the same deals. The concept is apparently no longer possible at GO.

This Grocery Outlet is definitely better than the one near Crossroads. It has better items, better sales, and the layout is much better too. Just make sure to check the expiration dates on things, and you can often save quite a bit of money by shopping here first!

This GO has much much more than the Crossroads one. Deals on meats, incidentals, cleaning supplies. The frozen food section is substantially less than competitors. What you don’t find here, the Dollar Store is next door.

This is my favorite place to shop. The savings are amazing and the staff is so kind. Love that there is family and veteran parking spots directly in front of the store so it’s not stressful to get my kids in and out. It’s very convenient if childless people aren’t taking advantage of the space or the employee who drives the white dodge charger isn’t parking there for her shift.

I shopped here on the evening of 5/31/24 and was absolutely appalled by what I witnessed. I overheard a female manager yell at a young male employee (who could not have been older than 20 years old) which made my shopping experience uncomfortable at the very least. Even if you are unhappy with an employee, you should never demean/disrespect them. Especially not in public!

One of the best places to shop for groceries and dog food.Friendly staff and great prices.You won't get a full produce, deli and meat department experience but I don't expect that.I like to buy eggs, coffee, chicken, bacon, broccoli, shredded cheese, peanuts, dog food here.Huge beer and wine selection here.
