Kirkland urban can be accessed from the street side, or the little downtown shopping area side as well. I am giving this little study/office/coffee shop area five stars for a nice little spot to sit down with your computer and get productive. It has unique seating, and a very quiet atmosphere, and lots of nice plans. The bathrooms are also accessible if you ask for a code from the coffee shop.

Hey MANAGEMENT, fix your parking! As a local resident, the SKIDATA parking system has been broken since the beginning when Urban opened. I can’t pay $5 every time I go to the store because your validation machine smudges the ticket, or because your new digital system says the ticket in my physical hand “can’t be found. I have never encountered a problem with these yellow and gray machines in any other location, EVER. Yesterday there was blue tape over the ticket reader and the gates opened automatically - today I get charged $5 for a validated ticket. Disable this thing NOW, and put a SKIDATA engineer onsite 24/7 for a week straight until you know this system actually works.

Ridiculously designed Plaza for entry and exit with a vehicle. Also, parking is very confusing. If you're in a car, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere because none of the shops here are worth the hassle.

When Kirkland Urban QFC first opened the need to use a validated parking stub to get out of the garage threw me and I screwed up immediately and had to pay $5. I learned fast. Today my car developed a black hole that swallowed the tiny parking stub before I even got out of the car. I looked EVERYWHERE! I looked with a flashlight on hands and knees but no stub. The trouble is that if you lose a stub now it will cost you $35!! I think that's more than a street parking ticket! The is such an egregious sum to pay for losing a tiny stub just cuz I went to the grocery store IMO. For those of you unaware the rate is now $35 this post is for you. I have doubts I will be able to get this forgiven or adjusted. It has left me feeling extremely negative towards the QFC which is simply Kroger Fred Meyer in better clothes anyway altho they charge like you're at Metropolitan Market. As it is most of the time they're out of at least one non-specialty item or more each time I go which means I have to shop at other grocery stores too just to get what I need. Bad public relations I feel for a grocery store to treat it's patrons so punitively over a lost stub.

Work. Eat. Live. Shop. Is the tag line for the Kirkland Urban Plaza. Another large and growing development that as it's line describes an all inclusive place that for a premium cost you have almost everything you need right outside your door or in the neighborhood. I frequent Urban Plaza to go to the QFC for a worksite. It's a nice looking plaza that features a brewing tap room, indoor golf with more incoming including a Sushi restaurant and Tea room. If your earnings are far beyond modest the Uptown apartments can be yours with 1 bedrooms starting at just $2900! There is a park and field just outside of the Plaza for a stroll alongside the working, eating, living and shopping you may be doing. As of this review there is a lot of construction going on so I'm sure it will look much better when it's all done. For the time being , it is a nice area that fits right along with the ritzy downtown of Kirkland near Central Way.

This is one of those places that makes me want to live in Kirkland! I went here for an event. There's a bunch of restaurants and cafes around. There's also the Lounge by TopGolf, where you can have drinks and snacks and play virtual games. I won't mind driving here from Renton to hangout with friends and walk around or just chill!

hello urban plaza qfc there used to be a qfc near my home, alas the next renter turned out to be an grocery outlet, which i don't do because they don't have a goodtogo and package service counter like qfc. thank you for opening up here inside the urban plaza. its nice to new faces each morning for work! (free parking for 4 hrs) and a sur la table 5 min away!
