Decent Shell Gas Station. Prices are comparable to other Shell or 76 gas stations. Has probably one of the cheapest car washes around though it is not touchless. I had some brake work done on my Honda and George the mechanic was very professional and was reasonable on his pricing. Unfortunately, George is retiring today so they won't be offering auto repairs or diagnostic services after today. If you buy enough gas, you do get the car wash free.

Comparable pricing to shops in the area and reliable work. He will take care of your vehicle, however, both my roommate and I felt spoken to in a condescending manner when we visited on separate occasions. Unsure if this had to do with the fact we're female and are a minority race or whether that is his general tone.I had hoped for George to be our primary mechanic since we live very closeby, but our experiences brought us to find another auto shop to go to.

Pulled up around 9:30pm on a Friday, open sign was lit so I approached the window to prepay for gas, and the older gentleman started yelling from inside that they are close, very rude!

1. Charged $180 to tell me they can’t do the work. 2. Their diagnostics were way off, suggesting that I needed to change my entire engine. Another mechanic was able to make a simple fix, replacing the distributor, and my car started alright. 3. For some reason, they added break fluid to spark plugs, ruining them completely - I had to replace them all.Service: General repairs & maintenance

George took our van in same day in and out for a new starter, he was half the price quoted at other places. He also fixed our battery connection issue, and did all the diagnosing. He is friendly and knowledgeable, and doesn’t price gouge!Services: Auto maintenance

We have had George & his crew repair and maintain our cars for 30+ years. They are honest & the work is always done perfectly. No hard sells here - they let you know if there is something that they recommend, but never a pushy sale. I love that you can drop off your car early in the morning or late at night. We have had them work on Ford, Chevrolet, Mazda, and Honda cars. They always pull up the maintenance minder to see what needs to get done, but don't do extra work. Highly recommend!

I have been a regular customer at George's Kirkland Shell for more than 20 years. And i hope to be a customer for another 20 years. My vehicles are kept running and a fair price and my money stays local. There have been times that I have received less than friendly service, but those employees don't seem to stay long. And I have gone to other mechanics and been seen worst service at more expense. I will keep my vehicles and my hard earned money local. Thanks George!

I cannot explain how wonder George and the gentlemen working the counter were. My car had died in the parking lot of the nearby Safeway and George went out, jump started it, and replaced the battery (after making sure that was the issue, which I was pretty sure it was). Whole process was incredibly quick and he even took time to help another person find directions. Quick, above and beyond customer service, and extremely reasonably priced!
