I highly recommend them for any project big or small. Supporting local, family run businesses is very important to me + my company. Marco and his team did an amazing job with my sofa and dinette chairs, and I would definitely recommend them. I was looking for an upholstery shop to re-upholster a very large sofa that has sentimental value to me. I met with them at their shop and went over the fabric options and discussed the price. The sofa was in storage, so unfortunately, I only had a bad photo for them to base their quote on. I selected fabric for the sofa and chairs and set up a time for them to pick everything up from the storage unit in Shoreline. Once they had the sofa it became clear that the whole thing would need to be re-done including the foam and interior fabrics. This increased the cost quite a bit (I got a bit of sticker shock), but I had known I was taking a chance getting a quote based on only a photo. At each decision point they called to get my consent on how much to repair and the cost. There was clear communication. In the end they essentially rebuilt the entire sofa, and managed to include the scalloped piping edge at the bottom (a feature I loved about the original). They did a wonderful job and I'm very happy with the results. Same for the chairs. Re-upholstery is not cheap, so you have to be committed to the furniture to begin with. I'm very happy with how everything turned out.

I would give Expo an A+ rating and not just because they did a great job on re-upholstering my boat cushions but because I dropped in un-announced yesterday with a minor repair of a couple boat straps and they graciously fixed it while I waited and then didn't charge me anything. I don't think they even remembered that I had been a customer and even though it only took them about 5 minutes it was just a very generous act that you don't see very often in the world today.

We had a midcentury modern chair in need of a rework and Expo did a really fantastic job. We were unable to identify the original chair or find photos of what it should look like. They suggested adding a cushion to it. It's now more comfy and we love it. I later discovered its Hans Wegner's Mama Bear Chair which just went back into production (pictured below).

They did an incredible job reupholstering two framed couch cushions in leather. They even went as far as completely matching the previous stitch pattern, you can't tell that they have been redone. Price was also very good for a leather job.

Marco and his team did such an amazing job! They were very helpful picking out fabric and taking the time to explain everything. The sofa used to be 'pea-soup green' and the cushions were thin/worn out. They replaced the seat cushions and reinforced the back. And now it's a beautiful thick wool charcoal fabric. If I ever need anything reupholstered again, I will definitely be using Expo Interiors Upholstery.

Expo did a tremendous job reupholstering my crate and barrel “Petrie†chairs in time for the holidays. Three years later, they are still one of the best seats in the house.
