DO NOT transfer sleep care to Evergreen Health Clinic!!
I am an INSPIRE patient & just transferred care there in April 2024, and it has been a nightmare dealing with their Billing Dept as well as their double pricing (for Doctor & for their "Facility Fee"). If I could, I would give them a zero star review, as well as a BIG WARNING FOR DECEPTIVE PRICING & ADD ON FEES (w/diagnosis codes that can't be explained until after a few weeks).
Short Story: Be aware that they charge more for the hospital side than the doctors side. In 3 visits, I have been charged $2,546 ($1,080 for Doctor fees and $1,466 Facility/Hospital Fees) - paying $1,817 out of pocket.
I have now paid more for visiting a doctor 3 times to make 2 changes on my Inspire settings vs all pre surgery appts, endoscopies, the actual Inspire surgery & follow ups, 4 sleep studies, & follow up care at another sleep clinic!!
Full Story (if you have the time)
I had Inspire Surgery in mid 2022, and have ups and downs in trying to dial in the right setting. I stopped working at Costco 11/22, & had to get a different Ins carrier (From Aetna to Community Health Plan -Cascade Select Bronze).I contacted my surgeon in late 2023 to see if I could switch Sleep Care to a clinic closer north. They suggested a doc located in the Evergreen Health Clinic.
Visit #1 (4/4/24) Dr. & an Inspire Rep talked to me, & suggested performing an awake Endoscopy. They referred me back to my Surgeon. I received the bill a few weeks later, for $730 ($1,110 before insurance was applied). $468 for Doctor & $642 for Facility fee. All for a doctor to listen to my previous history, & to refer me out back to my surgeon! (My surgeon did the awake endoscopy on 4/17/24 & an Inspire Rep worked on adjusting my sleep settings for 30min. I was billed only $100 for the visit). I decided $730 was too high, so cancelled my 7/12 follow up with the Dr. However after prodding from my wife I called to make another appt to see what Inspire had to say, & Evergreen did send me an Estimate for Follow Up Appt - which stated $511 Total Fees -Hospital Fee $310 & Physician Fee $201, Insurance Covers $212. You Pay: $299. This eased my mind before the visit.
Visit #2 (8/9/24) Dr. couldn't download results from my Inspire unit, so did a few changes (pushed 2 buttons) & said to try that out for 6 weeks &come back again.
A few weeks later I got a bill for $544! Not $299! The Itemized invoice had an additional $207 on it (for Elec Alys Implt Smpl Cn Npgt Prgmg). $105 for the Physician & $102 for the Facility (w/ $201 Dr Charge & $310 Facility charge). I called in before my next visit, and the Billing person said the 2 new charges were for a sleep study, to which I said I had only seen the Doc on that day. They said they would submit an inquiry to the Billing team & get back to me in 3 weeks or so. So I proceeded with visit #3.
Visit #3 (9/27/24) The Dr & an Inspire Rep were both there at this visit. They asked if I had any stress in my life & I mentioned the bill and extra charge. They both looked at it & didn't know what the diagnosis code could be, and the Inspire rep said even if it was a data change, it should be $30 at the most. The Inspire Rep did most of the talking, and just changed my level limit to two higher (maybe 3 or 4 touches to her computer) & sent me on my way.2 weeks ago, I got a call back from the Billing Dept at Evergreen. They said that the diagnosis code was not for a sleep study, but for an adjustment for my Inspire. I told them about my conversation with the Inspire Rep & Dr, & that the cost shouldn't be so high. The Billing Rep's response was, "How do they know our pricing?" & essentially that the billing code and cost were correct.
To push 2 buttons & they add on $207? WOW. What if they pushed 5 buttons!?!

Poor customer service. I had a very unpleasant interaction with this business. Billing department lost the payment I made in the mail and they sent to a collections agency which adds 30% on top of the bill. And at the end of the day, they cannot do anything. Terrible place - stay away. I will opt for Overlake Hospital going forward as I never had an issue with them before.

I went for imaging and the technicians and staff were A one. Their professionalism and customer service have sold me on them.

I had my first baby at this hospital. During labor they gave me morphine without my consent. I hallucinated during the entire time and when coming back to deliver my baby at 5am, they told me not to push until the Dr arrived. Many times the nurses seem worried and like they didn't know what they were doing. The method they use to get the placenta out is worst then the actual delivery. There was blood everywhere and even on the floor. My second baby was with a midwife and I know the difference. My midwife was the sweetest and most knowledgeable. I never saw blood, and they were quick to clean.

The charge nurses don’t even speak English and very hard to understand when speaking. She was lazy and told me that she doesn’t have time to find the nurse who is caring from my terminally ill family member. It’s no wonder they have a 3 star rating. I’ve worked in EMS and hospital setting for 20 plus years and this is deplorable. Thank god I’m not sick, sure as heck I wouldn’t visit that place!

I've been an inpatient and now I am an outpatient.
I see multiple specialists for emergency, neurology, kidneys, spine, physically therapy, chronic pain, urology and cardiology. That's way too many doctors not to be familiar with most aspects of Evergreen Hospital.
This is a highly rated Hospital across the USA! I havegreat respect and admiration for their knowledgeable, caring, respectful approach to treating patients with all the time necessary and, if necessary, specialists to determine the cause of various conditions and current treatments for those conditions.
I am particularly grateful for all of the nurses and PA's who have treated me so kindly. The radiology.staff knows their business.and for that, I am particularly grateful.
While I'm in Washington State, I won't stray from Evergreen Hospital and THAT'S A FACT!

I was standing behind a person today at around noon, 8-19-24, going down the escalator. A male RN from Africa was coming up behind me, saying "excuse me, excuse me," and he was in a hurry, pushing people, without further also he came down to the person in front of me and almost dropped her down the stairs. He never said "I'm sorry," on the contrary he got angry because the lady told him that he almost threw her down the stairs and the two receptionists who were downstairs (one looked like she was from India and the other black) didn't say anything or help at all. I waited outside for the lady and asked her if she was okay. She said yes. It's a shame that this kind of people, without empathy, work in a hospital that treats people with cancer. They should be disciplined. It happened at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland.
